Glitchy, noisy, early 2000s alternative.

Fun, theatrical, very 70s. Lotta sax. Not my favourite bowie period.

Fun, smooth, jazz, with interesting time signatures. Was already familiar, but a decent listen.

Excellent classic rock. Not my favourite CCR, but hard to go wrong with them. Several classic tracks here.

Bit too mellow for my taste. Didn't like the mix (vocals too high and instruments, especially guitar and bass, too low).

Interesting trip-hop and electronica influence 90s art pop.

Nooooooo, not the eagles. Never been a fan, and this album does not change that. Boring dad rock.

Pretty mediocre. Some songs way too long. Doesn't hold up to anything they put put in the 90s, but arguably better than almost everything that came after (though Saviors has some good tracks).

Middle of the road bluesy rock. Or maybe it's decent for that style - it's just not my jam.

Fun, dancy punk, pop, and lo-fi electronics. Mix is a little thin at times, but a decent album overall. Eau d'Bedroom Dancing is a standout.

Amazing harmonies. Could have used a couple more upbeat tunes, a little less schmaltz. Maybe if I re-listened on another day/another mood I’d rate it higher. But still, pretty darn good album from three of the best female country singers of the mid-to-late 20th century. Standout songs are: Wildflowers, Making Plans, and The Pain of Loving You

Interesting concept. Certainly rewards a more attentive listen. Will probably return to this on a rainy night. Musically, Under Wraps and Intensive Care were some of my favourites.

Don't mind some of the vocals, but a lot of the instrumentals are a bit cheesy. Don't normally pay attention to lyrics, but the few I noticed here were pretty off-putting. A couple decent songs throughout the album, but otherwise fairly forgettable.

One of several on this list, I suppose, where it will be necessary to separate the art from the artist. A few decent tracks, but nowhere near as good as Kala.

At times mesmerising, at times a little tedious. But overall a solid late-90s electronic album. Dirge and Aisha were standout tracks.

One of those bands where I know the name, but don’t recall ever actually listening to any (though a couple of the songs sounded really familiar). Some pretty decent early punk/new wave, along with some pretty boring songs (especially in the back half). A little uneven, but the standouts (like Precious and Mystery Achievement) were great.

Another artist where I am familiar with the name, but had no idea what they sounded like. Quite a diverse record musically, but not always to my taste. Not really any standout songs (at least on a first listen), but also not a lot I would skip on a re-listen (maybe a couple songs).

A bit too mellow and downtempo for my current mood - will probably return to on a rainy day. But some excellent songwriting nonetheless. And interesting instrumentation on quite a few tracks (really digging some of the organ work). Some standouts include Blue Skies and Unchained Melody.
