How much bongo is too much bongo? About 70 minutes it turns out, but then I accidenatlly listened to an extended version of this album, which should have only been 33 minutes. Either way, i enjoyed this, it's been sampled to death by just about everyone, so it was nice to pick out the odd little drum beats and work out where they were from. Nas mainly, but also Suguarhill Gang, Massive Attack, Goldie, Leftfield and so many more. I think this is a niche that the world is crying out for more of, bring back bongo!
