Maybe this album is good enough for a 2...but I found it hard to get through. 1.5.
Not a fan. Sounds like a throwaway Who record that never should have been made. Nothing that interesting and the odd switches in music just turned me off.
music with no art 1/5
Watched a documentary about the making of the cover, if only the music was as interesting
I have never listened to Peter Gabriel and this was a lot and not at all for me. This album doesn't feel very cohesive at all. Almost like the songs are from different mixes. It's weird. It has a hit everyone knows though I guess.
So boring....
not really that appealing to me
kinda bad tbh it feels like several attempts at the bad songs Paul wrote for the beatles 1.5
Actually really freaky sounding. this music makes me vvv anxious
Trist.
I went to Solsbury Hill once and it was shit.
indulgent as fuck and i can't just take to this. Appreciate this album is getting the brunt but there's whole swathes of indulgent english prog rocky shite from the late 60s to late 70s that i hate. God bless punk. Ha.
Track one is giving me the heebie-jeebies... Overall, album was boring more than creepy, but I struggled to get through it.
Definitely was not his best album
could not finish
Ehhhhh
whys he got his face that close to the window? he's gonna give it a lick isn't he. that would explain the state of this album.
An enchanted princess once warned me not to listen to Peter Gabriel. He had fingered her in a children's fable and she did not like it. Not one bit.
