Reviews (page 7 of 7)

Sounds very false, like he was making music for soundtracks of films thst don’t exist to try hook that cash avenue.

I don't care for it.

This album lacks the directness and the sense of fun that makes So so good. Solsbury Hill is a great song pointing at the direction he'd go over the next few years, but the rest is either still bogged down by the bloated pomp of the over-written ultimately very boring prog and glam sound, or, in the case of Waiting for the Big One, an embarrasingly bad attempt at loungey piano blues. The album is basically as pompous as the Wall but nowhere near as good, even if Here Comes the Flood has a bit of a Pink FLoyd sound and a cool guitar solo.

little too much rock opera

There's one song I recognize that I liked but otherwise it was okay

Second album généré, après 'So'. Certaines compositions sont plus progressives et originales que dans 'So'. Mais j'en ai apprécié assez peu. Je continue à préférer Peter Gabriel quand il était dans Genesis ... Je ne l'écouterais pas une seconde fois. =>2/5

This is pretty well-crafted, but man is it a drag. Listening to this feels like I’m 8 years old and have been forced into attending an orchestra. Best song: Solsbury Hill

John cusak ruined it for me

Pretty good

Decent, not memorable to me. The hit was cheesy. Fun but have to be discerning in my rating. I’ll likely not listen again and this reflects that

This one is a bit of hodgepodge. We all know "Solsbury Hill" which is great but the rest of it is kind of forgettable. Gabriel went on to better things,

Considering how much I enjoyed Peter Garbriel's '80s art-pop masterpiece 'So,' I was hoping I'd get at least some of the same enjoyment out of this one. It's certainly more country and rock-influenced than 'So', and sometimes it works exceptionally well like with the huge song 'Solebury Hill', an unbelievably hearty and soulful cut, or the explosive closer 'Here Comes The Flood', which has this soaring guitar solo sending it off. But other times, like with 'Modern Love' where you're getting these tacky arena-rock sounds, or 'Humdrum' which may have the most unflattering mixing on the entire album, the music really starts to show its age. It all felt like a scattered mess, with no discernable sound or direction. The songs were long but they never really went anywhere structurally, and they tend to meander around these uninteresting ideas for far too long, especially with a song like 'Slowburn'. I would say I'm sad, but knowing how much better Peter's music would get is at least somewhat comforting. This is a debut after all, and despite having never heard Genesis, I assume this takes a lot from that band's sound.

Just not my bag. Maybe it’s his voice. Maybe it’s the echoey, big sound. The pretentious lyrics? All blended, and it bores me.

I love the guitar work on Solsbury Hill which is really the only notable track on this whole album. The songs are all over the place. There's no sense of direction or cohesion and more than once, the songs left me puzzled. I was surprised at how much Gabriel and Phil Collins sound alike. A one and done for me but I'll listen to that hit single again. 2.5/5

Not much going on for me on this album. "Solsbury Hill" is a known song, and kind of the only thing this album has going for it. 2.5/5 Probably won't listen again

Not for me. Here Comes The Flood is decent, kinda late era Pink Floyd and Solsbury Hill we all know and it's fine. 2 stars because as with all my ratings, I understand why some people will like it. 1 star reviews are for absolutely mind boggling shite.

Peter Gabriel clearly hasn't found his post Genesis musical direction on this album. Solsbury Hill is a nice pop rock song, everyone knows it for a reason, but the rest of the album is him trying desperately not to make the same music he made with Genesis and the result is kind of bland

First, I didn't realize that Solsbury Hill was a Peter Gabriel song even though I've heard it probably more times than I can count. Second, I wouldn't be surprised if this album was chosen on the strength of that one song alone. I didn't like this album, more than once I found myself saying you aren't David Bowie. I also don't think he knows how to end songs, and I'm pretty sure the radio edit of Solsbury Hill ends about a minute earlier than the album track. The end of several songs is just odd. The album itself didn't feel very well put together. Rock songs, jazz songs, a song that felt very much like I was listening to the B-Sharps. I do want to take an extra bit to talk about how freaking weird the second last song on this album is. If I've ever hard a song with more tonal shifts than this one, I don't remember it. It like the rest of the album is all over the place. You're not David Bowie, and this songs mix feels a bit dated. Vocals feel like they're lost in the wall of sound. I've heard Solsbury Hill more times than I can count, and this is the first time I realized it was Peter Gabriel. I think most radio edits cut off around the 3:45 mark, because boy this song ended wierdly. Now we have the B-Sharps coming in on Track 4. Is this ironic? Slide whistle and tuba. Humdrum's title sums it up well enough. Slowburn made me want to say you're not David Bowie again. Another song with a bizarre ending too. Nor are you Elton John. Waiting for the Big One feels like it belongs on a blues album. Does he just not know how to end a song? Down the Dolce Vita, has the strangest transitions I've heard. It is completely all over the place. I hate it.

Tsja... FAVO: Solsbury Hill, Down the dolce vita

Solsbury Hill is a good song. Could do with out the rest of the album.

This was weirder than I thought it’d be. At first I was tentatively into it. Solsbury Hill is a classic, for instance. Then Excuse Me came on and it might be the worst song I’ve ever heard. Nothing after redeemed the album. I was expecting more of a In Your Eyes experience, and I wish this is what we got.

Não percebi nada de prog, nem de relevante.

a couple of songs I recognized. Not a bad album but nothing stands out as amazing or great.

Solsbury Hill is the best song here, the rest is too campy for me. I didn't mind Humdrum, but SH is the only one I'll be coming back to with any frequency.

The album was ok. Solsbury Hill is a great tune but the rest were average

Not feeling this as much as IV. Definitely don't need Slowburn. If I wanted that I'd just put on Stevie Ray Vaughn. Down the Dolce Vita makes up for it, though.

The first of 4 self titled albums for Gabriel post Genesis. I like them all, but this one is by far the weakest. Solsbury Hill is a masterpiece, and the album will stay in my collection solely for that, but the rest is tough. Excuse Me is a complete stinker. The exerimentaion within songs like Humdrum and Moribund The Burgermeister cause them to feel disjointed. Lots of different styles thrown in here and many of them don't land well. The schizophrenic sound is understandable from an artist trying to find their solo voice, but it's certainly distracting in an album format. Not an easy listen and it's more understandable now why it seldom gets a spin from me despite owning it for many years.

Really not my favourite Peter Gabriel album. Solsbury Hill is a fantastic song but nothing else quite measured up. It’s sprawling and eclectic but nothing to hold onto.

Not my bag at all but Solsbury Hill is a classic.

Unfortunately I did not finish this album partly because I was bored but also I think in part because this guys last name is Gabriel and the name Gabriel genuinely grosses me out. Sorry Peter. You shall receive a pity 2 stars.

Easy rock album with some weird twists in it. Could have been good Favorite song: Solsbury Hill Rating: 2.3/5

Not his best work

Not force

ok album, had some good songs, but some were just weird and abit to affect heavy

Take it or leave it

Didn't get on with it

Peter Gabriel’s debut album is all over the place, the most consistent characteristic through the album is the heavy dad rock vibe. 4.5/10

This album would be a one star if it wasn't for Solsbury Hill

There were some interesting sounds here and good composition when looked at individually, but the tracks didn't seem to flow nor feel like a cohesive album.

i needed 3 peter gabriel albums, thanks!

Ok, I guess. One great song. Two interesting. Unlikely to listen to again. Don't know why this was in the list. It's my music, kinda, but it's not that great a find.

A Solesbury Hill doesn't make an album.

Struggled with this. Solsbury Hill is a classic and Here Comes the Flood is quite special, but the rest just hasn't aged well. Disappointed if I'm honest

It was OK, but not in the mood

Can one song carry an album? Nope, not this one. Maybe I'm missing something but there's just nothing here for me.

Despite having one of my favorite songs, this album is not very good.

Op zich wel een paar leuke pop-nummers maar ik vind het ook een beetje saai. Misschien toch wat achterhaald tegenwoordig, maar in die tijd heel innoverend?

Peterin äänessä joku elementti sai karvat huonolla tavalla pystyyn. Teemat tuntuu seilaavan levyn sisällä aika villisti. En välitä kuunnella enempää.

Aivan huti meni, ei voi olla erikoinen

Solsbury Hill is great. Not sure about the rest so far.

Not my thing. Listened 2x. 2.4

This just left me completely flat. No emotions, nothing. Just flowed over me like I was covered in Grabireilphobic gel.

Udmærket 70’er rock, prog, lidt mudret

Half of this album sounds the same and the other half is a grab bag of completely different, seemingly unrelated tracks -- and this is a case where that diversity is a drawback rather than a strong suit. Another case of terrible mixing where the vocals (which are difficult to discern by themselves) are drown out by the guitars and percussion. A few decent cuts but largely forgettable. Favorite track: Here Comes the Flood

Hyvä yri! 2.5/5

This album comes off as a disjointed mess. While Solsbury Hill is a classic, the only other song I'd willingly listen to again is Slowburn. However, both of these tracks drag on longer than they should. Excuse Me, Humdrum, and Down the Dolce Vita were irritating at times. It's such a confusing listen, to make sense of it I had to rate each song individually and average their scores together. I came up with 2.27 and I feel like that's pretty accurate. Rounding down, as it can't be understated how haphazardly assorted these songs are.

I like Genesis but I don't like Peter Gabriel's solo work. This does nothing for me and bored me.

It was... fine. Kind of hard to come up with things to say about an album that's so non-offensive.

Najbolja pjesma: 1. Here Comes the Flood

That was pretty atrocious besides the lone good song. Rating: 1.6

Solsbury Hill is the standout from this album, that catchy 7/8 time sig works beautifully. But the rest of the album is prog rock noodling. Clearly he'd go onto greater things but this is mostly forgettable.

I expected to like this, as while I've not listened to an eniter Peter Gabriel album I am familiar with a few songs, like Solsbury Hill, but this was kinda a disjointed mess. Super random, and I agree with another commenter that it feels like he was trying to figure out his voice as a soloist and threw a pot of spaggetti at the wall to see what would stick. Excuse Me definitely did not stick. I suspect there are better PG albums out there. I can't see myself listening to this again, largely just so I never have to hear Excuse Me again. Solsbury Hill is catchy, Humdrum, Slowburn, and several others are fine.

Salsbury Hill sick. The rest I wasn’t crazy about. A little all over the place.

2.5, nothing really caught my attention.

Not his best.

Couple of good ones but too much weird stuff for me

Recognized Solsbury Hill. I do like classic rock and this era of music but wasn't really vibing to this one.

Strange

Familiar, not my favorite.

This record sounds like Peter Gabriel trying to figure out which direction he wants to go in. There's some arena-style prog a la Queen ("Modern Love"), jazzy-blues epics ("Waiting for the Big One"), and whatever the fuck "Excuse Me" is. I liked 3 ("Melt") when I got it earlier in this list, this one didn't really click with me. Favorite track: "Modern Love"

I'm a fan of some of PG's later stuff, but I listened to this album on a treacherous rainy and dark drive across the moors at 6:45am and it just completely sent my head west. I'll try again another time

The only song I've heard off this album was Solsbury Hill and I'm not surprised. It's covers multiple genres, but nothing really stands out. Best Songs: Solsbury Hill Listen Again: No

Niet mijn muziek

This album is just so all over the place, but it is full of ideas. Can’t deny that. Can’t say that I really enjoy it, though. However, there are two obvious tracks with stand out, Solsbury Hill and Here Comes the Flood. That’s enough to keep this from being a 1 star album to me, but otherwise, I really didn’t enjoy this even if I get it.

This is such a mad album. Throw a load of styles at the wall and see what sticks. I've never managed to get into Genesis prog era (or any era). So I didn't know what to expect from his first solo effort. The first track is prog mental, and appears even more so when contrasted with the second, Solsbury Hill. Obviously much more what I'd associate with his solo sound. The 3rd track is a mix of mid period Stones and Bruce Springsteen. 4th is barber shop Randy Newman. I don't like just parroting what I've read elsewhere but there is no other way to describe that song. Every other song is a different genre. What are you doing Pete? Despite that, is it good? I mean it doesn't work as an album. Some of the songs are good. I suspect it would require repeat listens to digest, but I don't want to do that. I'm so confused, I'm just going to plump for a 2.

Solsbury Hill was great, but I couldn’t really get into the rest of the album.

Yeah, I'm not into all that art-pop moaning

I found the music interesting but didn't necessarily enjoy it. Lots of variety and pockets of things that I liked but as a whole it just didn't do it for me. The photograph on the cover is fantastic though, great use of texture, composition and emotion - my favourite cover so far in this project. 5 stars for the cover, but 2 over all.

I love Salisbury Hill, it’s an all timer. I like a bunch of other Peter Gabriel as well. The rest of this did not click for me though.

Not my fav

Humdrum

Não é muito meu estilo, mas tem boas surpresas.

Some really great tracks on here, alongside some confusingly odd missteps. It's a bit scattershot but there is a lot to enjoy.

Like a lot of his stuff but basically nothing on this album other than Salisbury Hill. Mwamp mwamp

Track one: this feels like 4 pretty good ideas for a hook mushed into one song. Track two: first familiar song I’ve heard in a few days doing this. Totally fine song, don’t feel any differently hearing it in context than any other time I’ve heard it 🤷🏻‍♂️ All in all, nothing here that compels me to revisit.

Solsbury hill brings me great joy. The rest of this album is kinda just ok.

Some messy mix of Genesis, David Bowie, and Steely Dan. Why is '70s rock full of fillers?

Bit dull innit

extremely bipolar. and not really in a good way. fav songs: solsbury hill, modern love, humdrum, waiting for the big one.

Having had Peter Gabriel III eariler in the week this one disappoints, a reasonable debut solo album with the great solbury hill, but album is a little over the place, good, but I don’t think we need 3 Peter Gabriel solo albums on the list.

Chill, no me ha disgustado

The musical ideas are there, but the execution isn't.

meh. One big hit and a bunch of... something

Solo por Solsbury Hill

One good track

strange

I love Salisbury hill. Couldn’t warm to rest

Best Song: Solsbury Hill. It's like I'm living in a coffee commercial. Worst Song: Excuse Me. Nobody wants this parlour circus silliness. Overall: Exceedingly humdrum. I expected much more. This was the genesis of nothing.

Very much all over the place, can't see myself relistening.

Just an ok album, "Solsbury Hill" was about the only song worth a re-listen.

Not super impressed actually. Solsbury Hill is obviously a big one, but the rest of the record is really just alright. It's produced well and everything, and the collection is quite varied and eclectic. Just mostly uninspiring.

Lots of mediocre tracks and one we all know.

Terrible. I gave it an extra star only because of Solsbury Hill.

Background music for 40 minutes with a single breath of “oh ok maybe” on the second to last song but that feeling fleeted after 20 seconds and then the album ended. Shrug

A bit of a mess as an album. Still some nice guitar. Overall not as proggy as I expected

I couldn’t get into it. To theatric for me. However, “Solsbury Hill” is a great track.

Bit proggy

This album explores a variety of sounds, much like the prof rock Genesis from which Peter Gabriel came. I wish he would have explored in private and only put the found gems, like Solsbury Hill and Down The Dolce Vita, on the album. Tracks likes Moribund the Burgermeister are off putting to say the least.

yet another "why is this on this list?" pick. exactly as self-indulgent as you would guess it would be, given that it's the debut by a guy who quit a prog group over clashing egos. "Excuse Me" and "Waiting For The Big One" are straight-up embarrassing. ("Solsbury Hill" is, of course, gold, and keeps this in 2-star turf.)

One classic song, one good song, and a bunch of other stuff.

I honestly didn't get into at all, I found it distracting. Solsbury Hill was nice, but that was about it for me.

I want to love Peter Gabriel, seems like the kind of character that I'd really love. But this aint it. Didn't hate it, I finished it, but aside for Solsbury Hill, can't remember a single song.

I know this doesn't really make sense but this album reminded me of the Queen album A Night at the Opera, but without the genius of Bohemian Rhapsody, etc. What I really mean, is that this album is kind of all over the place. It's not bad musically, but it just doesn't work for me. It feels like he's throwing songs at the wall and seeing what sticks. Solsbury Hill was the only sticker in the bunch.

Something of a rag bag collection. Not sure why this would make the list as it is way short of his later work. Not overly keen on his vocal style but it is more tolerable as a sol artist than when part of Genesis.

Solisbury hill is a classic but other songs were hit and miss. 70s glamish.

I don't know why, and this isn't a reflection on Peter's musical prowess, but this album just makes me uneasy and I did not identify with it at all. "Peak boomer rock" probably conveys it best.

Want to like it more because of Salisbury hill but album doesn’t sound good to me. Lacks character and just blends together.

What an off putting album. Did not enjoy it at all. 2 stars because the atmosphere was BIG but overall not one for me.

Peter Gabriel is the debut album by the English singer-songwriter and producer Peter Gabriel after he left the progressive rock band Genesis. This "impressively rich debut album" left critics happy and is certified gold in the US and the UK. I liked the relaxed nature of the rock music on this album and the song "Solsbury Hill" is especially great. This was a good album, but not enough to recommend to all your friends.

1977. Solsbury Hill

weird album. i felt lost at points but some decent songs

I expected this to be better. It wasn't exactly terrible, but I was pretty underwhelmed. I do enjoy some of his other solo work and Genesis era but I could do without most of this.

solsbury hill and here comes the flood were good, the others are a bit mid

In Peter Gabriel, Solsbury Hill and Modern Love are good, the rest not so much. 2/5.

I do like Genesis, but not so much a fan of Peter Gabriel's solo stuff. First track of this is quite Genesis-y, then Solsbury Hill is very different but good, but the rest of the album disappears into mediocrity (aside the end track which is quite cool). 2/5, just falls short of a 3.

I like Peter Gabriel but found this tedious and scattershot. Yeah Solsbury Hill is very good, but there’s not much else here I’d want to listen to again. I know Here Comes the Flood is much revered but I just found it a bit over dramatic and pompous.

Wanted to like this more Stand outs - modern love - Salisbury hill

All of my Peter Gabriel knowledge comes from Peep Show. According to Toni, "he single-handedly created WOMAD." This album sounds like it was made by someone who single-handedly created WOMAD. Quite a lot going on, and some of it quite complex, but all of it very safe. Rating: 2.5/5 Playlist track: Solsbury Hill Date listened: 31/10/22

All over the place and not particularly compelling beyond 'Solsbury Hill'. Is he trying to be a one man Queen? Why is there an orchestral disco number? What's with the Randy Newman style songs? Varied, curious, but far from great.

Notes - First solo album after his departure from genesis - Features Robert fripp and Tony levin of king crimson - This whole album is very all over the place - It works at times but it kind of made me feel like there was no central idea tying the songs together Fav - Solsbury hill - theres a good reason its the most played song on here - dense but catchy, pulls you in and keeps your attention Least fav - Down the dolce vita - cool use of orchestral elements but the song at the core feels less interesting than others on the album some cool ideas but don’t know if i see myself returning to this one, 2.5/5

Weird inclusion

Just thought it was a bit all over the place and didn't enjoy listening to it

Um, not sure about this - one massive tune and a lot of random stuff

Not great

Peter Gabriel isn't my thing though Solsbury Hill is a banger.

I didn't care for this one that much, although I did think it had some good ideas. Not really digging it, unfortunately.

Definitely a 70’s psychodelic rock album. It was okay, not my thing. Maybe I need to be high to enjoy it?!?!?! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Not my style. Ok

It’s ok

If Salisbury Hill is the best he has to offer I’ll pass. A lot of sounds signifying nothing.

Not sure how this made the list tbh.

Oh fun! Never heard this before! That album cover is really quite cool. Wow. Well first off, that album cover is false advertising. My first thought was that David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen had a Frankenstein baby. But this is so much worse than that. And what’s with Brit’s feeling compelled to explore their mother issues in the studio? The truly Springsteen-esque tracks 2 and 3 were alright, but then enter the barbershop quartet, and David Lynch’s sound director, jazz piano, tinkling bells, space sounds, some of the worst lyrics I have ever encountered emphasized with dramatic pauses and then, then FULL cinematic orchestration! I mean there is experimentation and then there is this. What’s the excuse for this? I can only conceive it was a lot of indiscriminate drug use all around. I wanted to give it 2 stars for tracks 2 and 3, but by the end, I had to admit this is awful. Truly. 1 star. Boolean rating: no. Really. No one needs to hear this. I find it hard to believe any one would want to hear it. But I looked at the other reviews and apparently many do, or are at least are glad they did. Well - no accounting

A bit too all over the place 70's arty rock. Now I can see why I only recognised one song on the tracklist as the rest is a bit naff. Not his finest moment, but Solsbury Hill is a cracker.

my parents got me a Peter Gabriel record for my birthday and it might have been the worst present i've ever gotten from them Would I listen again: i hate peter gabriel Deserves to be on this list: no. 1.4

omg i was expecting to hate the rest of this after the first song but i love solsbury hill sooooooooooooooooo much ..............................well

HATED this what on earth

“Solsbury Hill” is a fantastic song, but the album overall feels a bit less substantial than the ones I’ve reviewed so far.

Did not enjoy this

so ass bro

Not my thing at all

Awful, how is this on the list, maybe was cool in 70s but only 1 good song

Not my taste

This art rock album is strikingly eclectic, with sharp guitar riffs, moody keyboards, and dynamic percussion shaping atmospheric arrangements that shift between angular intensity and brooding introspection, while the vocals deliver a theatrical mix of urgency, vulnerability, and sly detachment. Unfortunately this falls apart as an album for me although it has interesting parts.

What even is this… no way not happening!

Awesome singer, bizarre album

I did not like this. Far to up its own arse.

Listening to "Excuse Me" as I type this. Please make this stop. Okay second half of the album was MUCH better. Enjoyed the piano but some of the songs were just too bad to be redeemable imo.

Classic Peter Gabriel. Every song sounds the same and is pretentious. Just like his Genesis bandmate, Phil Collins, there are no sharp edges or wrinkles to his music. This is an all-skips album.

Sorry but his voice is my ick

Cannot get on board

Just so shit. It was hard to power through

Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins sound identical to me. I can't stand either of them. This solo Peter Gabriel album did not change my opinion.

Sorry Pete

1 star for Salisbury Hill

This is weird and strange, fitting for an ex genesis member. Fucking hate the song Solsbury Hill. Don’t really enjoy many of the rest

This was somehow simultaneously really boring and also zany and full of too many ideas in each song. This more folky prog but bluesy rock and roll and also symphonic stadium rock (again there's too much going on in this record) stuff isn't my thing. Solsbury Hill sounds like one of the sample songs that comes with Windows XP/Vista to demonstrate how the visualizer on Windows Media Player works. Sorry that's such a random observation. Then near the end it sounds like Star Wars theme music but with a white boy funk/arena rock lean. There is just too much going on and none of it is interesting. Only the last song (Here Comes The Flood) was tolerable to me. It sounded like a Bowie or Elton John song so that was fine. This album is so fucking stupid

So not my taste

Solsbury Hill Here Comes the Flood

Pretentious nonsense.

This album sounds like what it feels like to soak your balls in just below room temperature water

The shit run continues. I've had a few bad albums in a row, and this one is as bad as any of them. I already had one of his albums and gave that 2 stars .... after hearing this that other album now feels like it should have been rated higher. Utter horse shit. I could make better music than this.

Pretty shit. Only got 4 songs in but they were all pretty boring. Can’t give much more than 1star.

Pure shite

I hate his voice

Down The Dolce Vita was cool but the rest sucked.

Very self-indulgent. Didn't enjoy anything about this.

Solesbury hill sucks

Progemuusikon yritys vaihtaa poppiin. Ainakin viimeinen biisi on parempi kuin ensimmäinen.

Not a fan. I know Solsbury Hill (who doesn't?) which is ok (it's actually on my Spotify Liked Songs) - but nothing on the rest of the album made me take note... Personally I found it boring...

Very strange journey I just went on

I almost liked a couple of the songs on this album.

Maybe this album is good enough for a 2...but I found it hard to get through. 1.5.

Not a fan. Sounds like a throwaway Who record that never should have been made. Nothing that interesting and the odd switches in music just turned me off.

music with no art 1/5

Watched a documentary about the making of the cover, if only the music was as interesting

I have never listened to Peter Gabriel and this was a lot and not at all for me. This album doesn't feel very cohesive at all. Almost like the songs are from different mixes. It's weird. It has a hit everyone knows though I guess.

So boring....

not really that appealing to me

kinda bad tbh it feels like several attempts at the bad songs Paul wrote for the beatles 1.5

Actually really freaky sounding. this music makes me vvv anxious

Trist.

I went to Solsbury Hill once and it was shit.

indulgent as fuck and i can't just take to this. Appreciate this album is getting the brunt but there's whole swathes of indulgent english prog rocky shite from the late 60s to late 70s that i hate. God bless punk. Ha.

Track one is giving me the heebie-jeebies... Overall, album was boring more than creepy, but I struggled to get through it.

Definitely was not his best album

could not finish

Ehhhhh

whys he got his face that close to the window? he's gonna give it a lick isn't he. that would explain the state of this album.

An enchanted princess once warned me not to listen to Peter Gabriel. He had fingered her in a children's fable and she did not like it. Not one bit.
