Good, sad Sinatra, but the songs are indistinguishable from each other.
Possibly a five star album if not for the fiddle songs.

First time listening to her music and I can say it’s great. A fan going forward. Nice mix of electronica and trip-pop in this debut album.
Very Gothic. Very long songs, but overall very enjoyable.
Pretty good, but for me forgettable
A great Cohen album. Very poetic.
Very good. Very enjoyable. Yet already forgotten.
A fine album. Overrated. Song 2 was the only one that I really remembered.
Pretty awesome debut album. Post-punk / synth pop and a good listen from beginning to end.
Waiting for this album to start was like waiting to get on the Internet in the ‘90s. The only difference is waiting to get onto the Internet in the ‘90s sounded way better than this album.
Fun disco album.
One of the best live albums from one of the best bands.
Really enjoyed this album. “Fall at your Feet”is an amazing song.
Neil Young is amazing, and this is classic album that shows it.
Great 90s debut.
My favorite CCR album. Absolutely amazing from beginning to end.
Another Tom Waits album. Not bad. Not my thing. Very specific taste to enjoy this, and I could never see myself sitting back and listening to this.

Awesome that a band can rework their own songs in such a creative way, do it live, and record such a great album.
Fine. Non-memorable.

Amazing debut album. Every song is amazing.
Very ambitious. Very very good. A great find. I am now a new listener of Monáe.
Pretty good album. Psychedelic pop.
Third album I’ve listen to from this artist. The first I really liked. The second I kind of hated. And this being her debut, I was unsure how I’d feel before listening. Glad to say I enjoyed it. A strong debut album. Great blues, indie rock sound.
German factory ambiance music.
I think her prior album was much better. Good overall.

Much more erotic than I remember.

Steely Dan never disappoints. Great album.
Lou Reed is always amazing. Great album (minus the kids screaming).
Pretty awesome debut album.
Quite surprisingly this was pretty a great. Sometimes noise rock can be good. It was catchy and I just needed some noise. This had something that bars like napalm death lacks.
Fun album. Baroque rock /pop. “Sunday Afternoon” is the star in this album but a fun listen from beginning to end.
Amazing Neil Young Album. My favorite from him.
Other than “Drive,” I can do without this album.
Eh it was okay. By all standards a decent live album but I just didn’t enjoy it that much.
Absolutely killer debut album. This can easily be a “best of” album, and I wouldn’t have noticed the difference.

Legendary album by a bad man.
Very good punk find.
Different than what I’m used to with Bowie, but still an amazing album.
Sonic Youth will never be my thing, but this album is certainly better than their next album, “Dirty.”
Repetitive and boring electronica that shows the author of this list did not realize 1001 was such a large number. He fixed his mistake by throwing in random, generic British albums.
Rollercoaster of styles. Disco, funk, rock. Gritty vocals and fun lyrics. A good find.
None of the hits (except Freedom), but still an awesome listen.
Amazing solo album from an amazingly talented artist. One of the best hip-hop albums.
Pretty good 90s hard rock.
Not the best Talking Heads album, but even an okay Talking Heads album is still amazing.
Great debut from a very influential band.

An amazing album and a new introduction to me. “Common People” - a great find.
Such easy listening. Enchanting voice. Great 90s throwback. Awesome debut.
Not my thing, but I honestly expect this to be horrible. I was pleasantly surprised that it was okay. Still not my thing, but okay.
“Singing,” or talking, out of key is not music.
Radiohead album where it departs from electronica and introduces more rock. Pretty good.
Nice 60s jazz and r&b and folk rock.
Pretty awesome album by The Kinks.
Amazing modern rock and blues album.
Not really my thing. A lot of ambient music, but a good album to show Bowie’s versatility.
My favorite Cat Stevens album. A masterpiece.
Repetitive trash Electronica
Just absolutely amazing hip-hop.
Great debut that has their biggest hits. Embarrassing that they didn’t understand how to spell their name in the beginning.
I think this author just hid a bunch of Elvis Costello albums in this list because either: 1) He is trolling us; or 2) He is a huge fan of this Costello and needed some ploy to get the world to listen to him against their will. That being said, this album is certainly better than his other albums.
Three Country music legends team up to sing country. Pretty good. Nothing memorable for me, though.
Great album from start to finish. Very funky.
Good punk album that has all the major early Green Day hits. Good studio debut.
Artsy and boring.
Wasn’t my favorite Miles Davis album, but nevertheless, Miles Davis is still amazing.
Pretty good R&B. Loved the first song. Major nostalgia.
The piano is great on this, but the saxes are divine.
Amazing album. Rock, folk, some instrumentals. All good.
Smooth. Great album.
Woeful unremarkable.
Great voice, but far too long an album. The sound was great but it got repetitive quick.
Good punk rock.
This was a find for me. Never listened to this band before, and I absolutely loved it.
I love me some Paul Simon. Found some new songs to add to my playlist.
Despite what the Wikipedia states, the album is wholly unremarkable.
Seminal Linkin Park debut. Nu metal - hip hop rock.
Folk and country. Fine.
It’s a Madonna album.
It was a good jazz album, but it also could have been a very good aid to put me to sleep.
Nick Cave continues to impress me with how bad his albums can be.
When you leave a game on pause for an hour while you do something else, and the repetitive background music keeps going.
Very good find. 80s British pop and rock that actually sounds good.
Pretty good. Clint Eastwood was the best.
British alt hard rock
Space rock / dream pop. Very good.
Goth Rock.
Pretty good country. I prefer this version of love hurts.
While I should have been bored by the three hour and fourteen minute album, this was nothing but great music throughout. Wonderful album.
I think this was added to the list to show those who are unaware of Phil Spector’s criminal history that not everything he touches is gold.
Some great beats but I never liked the singing. Not a B-52’s fan.
Slow country. Good.
Amazing U2 album.
Not particularly memorable, but pretty good light rock album.
Great debut.
Monster of an album.
Seminal album by Oasis. Wonderwall. Champagne Supernova.
Pretty good British punk album, but doesn’t stand out much from its contemporaries.
Interesting genre of music. The album goes from Middle Eastern world music to pop to jazz to electronic. Pretty good.
Classic.
Masterpiece.
Good debut album. Not really into R.E.M. though.
Felt like early Taylor Swift.
Mix between punk and reggae
Great album, but long.
Amazing live blues album.
County / Rock / Folk. Great voice and sound. Though all the songs sounded the same, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Amazing early hip-hop album.
Great find. Rockabilly punk.
Amazing album from an amazing super group.
Pointless Electronica.
Good album but Bobby Womack. Not sure this was the one to put on the list though.
Amazing powerhouse of an album from Tina Turner.
80s Synth pop. I loved it.
Cool dream pop.
Amazing debut album.
The album cover is similar quality to the music.
A good, but ambitious debut album.
All-female, post-punk, rock band. Pretty great.
Awesome album.
Legendary album.
Fine album. If not for “Layla,” this album may have been forgotten.
While there is alot of Britpop on this list, this one wasn’t as insufferable as the rest. Quite enjoyable actually.
Every song sounds like an intro to “Cars.”
Truly a heartbreaking album. Story goes that a recording room filled with Jazz musicians were about to record and all suffered fatal heart attacks. They immediately started to blow air into their instruments and flail around near the drums trying to signal to the people outside the recording room to call 911 for help. Unfortunately, the sound engineering thought this was Free Jazz and kept recording. This album is a product of that fateful day.
Pretty good but not memorable.
Amazing album by an amazing duo.
Pretty good. Samba. Sax. Girl from Ipanena.
Amazing debut album.
There may be good music under all the noise.
Amazing Bowie album, and the one he comes alive in.
Pretty great find for me. Reminded me a bit of Springsteen.
Country
Very slow and boring. One good song.
Important and great album, but most likely not ending up on any of my playlists.
I really enjoyed this. Recording session story was cool.
Pretty good.
Remarkably unremarkable. I forgot the sound immediately after listening.
Better than expected. Some good sounds here.
Legendary. All time favorite.
Was slow. Good but slow
Didn’t really like the strokes in the early 2000s, and I still not a fan. It’s good, but not for me.
Wasn’t as revolutionary or feminist as she believed. Pop.
Great album. But most songs don’t live up to the sound of the Message.
Fine.
Synth-pop. It was a good listen.
Awesome post-punk album.
Amazing HiP-Hop debut.
Still not a fan of R.E.M.
Great album.
Icelandic pop. Bjork’s voice always a bit too high, but not as terrible as I expected.
Pretty good but forgettable.
Zappa! Experimentation and commentary. Awesome album.
Pretty good. Nothing memorable.
Great start. Good reintroduction to the world. But most of the album was just ok.
Great punk rock album. Short and sweet.
The most unimportant album I have ever listened to.
Pretty great. Some long songs. Weird story song in there, but always great to hear Lou Reed.
Pretty good, but ultimately nonmemorable.
Great live album.
Nice and relaxing.
Fine.
This debut album rocked.
Amazing find. Great French pop.
Not my favorite album by Public Enemy. Too much noise over the hip-hop.
80s pop.
Great disco album.
Amazing album. Just great slow folk songs.
