The Gilded Palace Of Sin
The Flying Burrito BrothersA fun little country record. Some enjoyable vocals and like the final track although I probably would have liked this more if it was just a straight psych album

I think I would enjoy these songs more if they where song by the actual people who inspired Elvis. I get why this is here but beyond that not much excitement here.
Non-stop bangers. I rated this 5 the first time and rating it a 5 again.
Bowie - stick with rock and roll man. You are not to write ambient stuff. The first half is OK but then you get into that ambient back half and while ambient music can be enjoyable it seems Bowie doesn't really know how to make it interesting in any way. If half stars where an option this would be a 2.5. Since I gave this a 3 the first time around I'll average it out by giving it a 2 this time. Give me Byrne and Eno over Bowie and Eno any day.
I gave this a 4 the first time around. But damn I enjoyed it even more this time. I found myself listening to it all weekend and singing along by Sunday. For that reason, I am giving it a 5 this time. These songs are very enjoyable right from jump. 1969 was a great year for music it seems.
Politically charged, and just as relevant today as it was in 1992, this debut record by Rage Against the Machine pulls no punches and isn't afraid to really make a statement right from rip.
Its interesting listening to this again. I remember the first time around I really liked it and it inspired me to listen to the rest of the B-52s discography. Coming back to this after that it seems that while this is a great record and you can tell they already found their sound they didn't really perfect this weird oddball sound until their next record which came out almost less than a year after this. With that perspective in mind I am dropping my rating a bit from my first playthrough. This is a great introduction to this band and their sound however so it does what it needs to do being on this list.
I barely remember listening to this the first time, and I barely remember listening to it this time. It blends in with all the other 70s punk
