Eleven songs in 36 minutes, lots of short & sweet. Lou at his best.

Spectacular debut album with a wide variety of guest artists and samples. Kanye's talent as record producer shines.

Heroes is the 2nd album of David Bowie's Berlin trilogy, with Brian Eno and Robert Fripp in the studio. Lots of experimentation ahead of its time, as one would expect from these artists. The title track is a poignant love song about a couple separated by the Wall, recently featured in the finale of Stranger Things.

Iggy and Ziggy in a Berlin studio producing a variety of post-punk positivity. The title track will forever be associated with the film Trainspotting, which fittingly portrays heroin addition that plagued Pop before and after L4L.

Depeche Mode's best and a time machine portal for every GenXer.

I've never heard this album and understand why it would be included list, unless its about the Sub Pop label or New England grunge. I didn't really enjoy much of it, despite its tight rhythm section.

Fun music despite serious subject matter.

I remember the first time I heard this album: I was very young and it scared the shit out of me. It was the beginning of heavy metal, which is named after the steel plants and industrial factories of Northern England, including Birmingham and Sheffield. I am a Sabbath fan and metal head, and this one's getting full marks from me.

Approaching his mid-20s, Bowie truly came of age with this album, announcing it on Changes. With Mick Ronson and Rick Wakeman in the studio, his sound developed its addictive familiarity.

Frank sounds bored and insincere. Shame because these are great songs from stage and screen.

This is one of my favourite albums from one of my favourite bands. How to Disappear Completely is one of my favourite songs; it's also one of Thom Yorke's favourite. Masterpiece!

Game-changer for the band and for progressive rock ahead of the 21st century. Masterpiece. Luckily, Radiohead was able to keep the genius going with subsequent works.
