My friend’s favorite Zep album. Starts with Whole Lotta Love, straight slaps. Moby Dick is so good.

Frank Ocean will never not put out top tier albums.

You can feel this man’s energy as soon as he hits the stage. Gives me the chills with how much soul he puts into his singing. Bops top to bottom.

Not exactly my type of music but the production on it is great. A quality made album.

It’s Christmas music, well made, good production, good vocals, Christmas music.

A capsule of hip hop at the time, groovy and good lyricism.

Honestly solid album, just sonically not for me. Powerful guitar and vocals.

Bop and a half. Never heard of this group before but they’re added to the rotation.

Good background music but not something I’d put on to intentionally listen to it.

Good background music jazz

Sounds like most 90s/00s DnB and Jungle. Not terrible but nothing standout. Would make a great soundtrack for a PS2 game.

It is very much a product of its time and for me it doesn’t hold up well.

Songs were hit or miss, fairly middle of the road album for me.

Overall very good, only a few songs where the instrumentation just didn’t sit right with me. But definitely will listen to again.

Mid for me. Good music but doesn’t move me.

I’ve never really been a big Bruce fan and this album did not change my mind. Plus some of the lyrics are a little sketch.

I don’t know what the fuck is going on but these boys are spittin. Very good musicality on this album.

I didn’t want to like it because I think the Beatles are so absurdly overrated but I can’t deny that this is a genuinely good album. Good songs and fun music throughout.

I don’t think John has the right vocal sound for the blues songs. Other songs are fine.

I don’t know if Trent was the first to do it but he’s one of the best to.

Not my favorite listen. Some songs were okay but for me just a little to noisy and chaotic throughout.

Frank Zappa as a person, 5/5. This Frank Zappa album, 3/5.

Somehow there are songs on this album that I have managed to have not heard before. It’s what you would expect from a Taylor album. High quality production, mid lyrical content, pop music. Very few songs I would intentionally listen to, a couple more songs I wouldn’t skip if they came on. It’s tough to rate this one, personally I don’t like pop music but objectively it’s a well made album.

Beautiful music with soul touching vocs

These guys are legally allowed to make a three track album of absolute bangers.

Hits just the same as when I found this album in the basement as a child.

I’ve listened to this many times throughout my life. Slaps the same every time. There is a reason why Biggie is still in conversations about GOAT rappers even with such a short career. This album will touch you, no Diddy.

It was good. Nothing really stand out for me. Some misses but some good ones as well.

Some good some not so good, kinda rough around the edges. Some are fairly polished and pleasing. I at one time thought Apple Music decided to put on Bob Dylan in the middle of my listening session. Just feels like inconsistent from beginning to end. Shout out to Andy Warhol for the cover, love that guy.

Mix of older country and modern pop country. Some songs I really enjoyed and some were a little too modern for me.

Not for me. I think the music saves this from being a one but not digging her singing style.

Is this the British bias everyone complains about??? Album is fine, nothing super standout. I don’t see myself coming back to this one.

It was fine but it all felt like one really long song, nothing of note stood out.

I don’t get it. Mainly a dude talking over sound. Songwriting feels pretty lackluster to me.

Listened to this too much, I already know my rating.

After multiple Bowie albums on here, I can officially say I am not a Bowie boy. His music isn’t bad it just doesn’t do anything for me.

If I was rolling Molly or some shi, this would be fire. But alas, I’m sitting at work sober listening to this at 9AM and it is not hitting

The music is super good and tasty bass riffs but the singing brought it down for me. Lyrical content was good, I’ll come back to a few songs.

Lyrics are a positive message but just not the exact hard hitting rap that I perosnally like. The interplay between Run and DMC is very pleasant in the ears, fun hearing them go back and forth. The beats are simple but they make you wanna dance, very fun music to listen to.

Not my tempo

Always been my favorite Beatles album. Norwegian Wood being my favorite song of theirs. I also have to shoutout Michelle as that’s my wife.

So much better than the last Bruce album. More acoustic solo music, I can get with it.

Dance music in a language I don’t know, it’s alright.

Lot of noise and not great vocals. Vocals were also mixed very softly so you couldn’t quiet hear the lyrical content.

I’ve been listening to this album for at least the last 20 years of my life, if not a little longer. This is a quintessential album for me. The lyrical content is very powerful (for the most part, sometimes a little silly. Serj can be a little goofster.) But these guys were so formative for my outlook from such a young age. The guitars, bass, and drums just hit so right, just so good. I will never not listen to SOAD.

I honestly expected better coming into this with how hyped Blur is, but it was kind of a let down, and maybe that’s on me. Just a bunch of noise with a few good sections thrown in.
