Heroes by David Bowie
Mar 28 2026

Heros is a seminal song. Like rump shaking, defiant anthem representing a mentality and mood that makes my heart soar. Pure ecstasy. However, I like his voice and lyrics, and the litany of rock instrumentals makes me just wish his funky fresh lyricism was there. Keeps it from a 5

I Should Coco by Supergrass

Jun 25 2026

Hot licks played sick, really fun and I enjoyed them speaking to me directly😃

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Jun 26 2026
m b v by My Bloody Valentine
Jun 28 2026

What a strange album. At times sounding like rising shepherds tone, others sounding like pure groovy pop distillate, this album challenges and envelops. The noise and intentionality is unlike many of its contemporaries, and the mood set is one of a kind.

Screamadelica by Primal Scream
Jun 29 2026

A mix of songs that creates a meandering LP, flipping across dance music and funk. Overstays at times, and explores some concepts too shallowly

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Jun 30 2026

Original and evolving, every Radiohead project sounds the same but in a good way. Not my favorite of theirs because of some of the subdued nature, but nevertheless a shining example of making interesting noise to compliment interesting moods

Meat Puppets II by Meat Puppets
Jul 01 2026

Scratchy and mean spirited enough to be somewhat enjoyable, yet without the thrust that a similar metal/harder rock project would have to elevate it more for me

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Jul 03 2026

Classic and pushes the envelope for the time. Like all skit s these don’t hit

Buena Vista Social Club by Buena Vista Social Club
Jul 04 2026

Entrancing. So much soul, idiosyncratic jam, and flow. Hypnotic and warm, glowing like the environment of some flamboyant speakeasy in a distant locality

Sweet Baby James by James Taylor
Jul 06 2026

Wish more variation came from this project, but overall a sad and sweet melodic record. Soulful as this type of twangy country tends to be, the music here feels warm and sad like whiskey by yourself.

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Jul 07 2026

Opening with a gorgeous group of flowery pop ballads, this album swells to fill its reputation. Beautifully naive and reminiscent of a childhood I didn’t even have, this album encapsulates the bleach blonde Neverland that is some nonexistent Americana, which is fun to listen to for its novel effervescent simplicity. This in tandem with its joyous orchestration makes quite a standout LP.

Joan Baez by Joan Baez
Jul 10 2026

She’s alright. Very samsey

The Doors by The Doors
Jul 11 2026

Ok ok I love this album

Kilimanjaro by The Teardrop Explodes
Jul 12 2026

Noisy and blown out, this project sounds very much like a drunken Clash or Ramones. A little slower than those exemplary rockers, The Teardrop Explodes was worth a listen and re-listen for some of the most boisterous anthems but had nothing standout to offer for me

Blackstar by David Bowie
Jul 13 2026

Gorgeous, visceral, and altogether worth a listen

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Jul 14 2026

Hearty, soulful, joyous

The White Album by Beatles
Jul 15 2026

Beautiful and weird, all over the place in a good way

Fever To Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jul 17 2026

Exactly what you want, exactly how you need it

Sea Change by Beck
Jul 18 2026

Pretty chill but not his best

Something/Anything? by Todd Rundgren
Jul 19 2026

He was rocking but I hated when he be talking

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jul 20 2026

Super jammy and loud but fun

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
