1001 Albums Summary

Remains one of my favorite no-skip albums.

I understand the rock opera nature of it, but it isn't really something I'd want to regularly listen to.

The interludes are pretty corny, but overall the album holds up really well.

It's fine. I like some of the more jazzy vibes to it.

I mean it’s so good. Especially, In the Ghetto and Suspicious Minds.

I loved their early albums. At first I wasn’t thrilled on this one but it grew on me.

Hadn't listened to Arcade Fire in some time, and mostly hadn't listened to this album before. The church organ usage is pretty rad. I re-listened and have Intervention pegged as my favorite.

Not my vibe. But see how others could enjoy. Plus the guy from Jungle Book!?

I enjoy it, specifically the hits.

I recognize the impact the BB had on hip hop, and I love Hello Nasty, but could never get into this fratty album.

This is just what my morning needed.

This was the first jazz album I ever listened to. It’s been with me while studying in college, focused at work, entertaining at home, and even just some escapism. I love this album and was happy for it to come across my feed.

It was ok.

Every time I put on a Tom Petty album, I'm reminded just how much I enjoy listening to him. This isn't my favorite of his, but still a wonderful listen.

Brian Eno twice in three days is a choice. I get the importance of this, but this is just a straight up background noise album.

Ok. This one caught me off guard. I wasn’t looking forward to the listen, but came away with a new appreciation. The political observations are wonderful.

I would have been ok not knowing about TEMU Bowie

I recognize that many may find this as an essential album, but it wasn’t something that I enjoyed. Doesn’t mean it’s bad, just not my choice.

I didn't think that was ever going to end. Holy crap.

I'm sure it's not as great as I think it is, but for all the sentimental reasons, this hits so hard.

Whoa, had never head this album. Gives me Tracy Chapman vibes.

Generally, I don’t mess with this genre. But really enjoyed this playing in the background of my morning routine. 3.5

Man. I don’t know about this one.

Oddly, never listened to this Wilco album. Not running back to give it another immediate listen. I have to remind myself of when it came out and not get hung up that it feels long and boring at current.

Loved it. Also these tight 30min albums are wonderful.

I’m too sober to enjoy this.

I saw a review that said this album was a reverse Elvis. And that's spot on. He took music and made it his own. It's such a wonderful listen.
