Jurassic 5Great Album, didn't know I needed this in my life
Great Album, didn't know I needed this in my life
If peeing your pants is cool, call me Miles Davis. Great album, great vibe, a Sunday in a chair sipping on a drink with a jazz cigarette
Great chill vibes/shoegaze?
Awesome Alt-rock album. A long overdue intro to the Pixies
Love the vibes of this one. Something that will definitely make my rotation since I'm always looking for good world music to vibe to.
Good album, but I lost a bit of interest towards the end.
Great rock album.
It is chaotic but a very interesting journey. Definitely an album that needs to be played straight through.
Might have had too much rock in my life to give this a great assessment but it didn't rock my socks off.
Lost me towards the end.
Great listen!
Mad sampling. High speed hip hop.
Not my style
Peak 80s
Easy vibes
Enjoyable Psych Pop
Not usually my style but I actually didn't hate it
Can't go wrong with Fleetwood Mac!
Fun and funky!
Loved it, great for walking downtown
Interesting but not something I would play often
It's effin elvis
Pure punk, not my style, but I appreciate it.
A really solid album
British indie, pretty good
Good rock and roll baby 4/5
A bit strange for me, but great early electro pop!
Post punk on the way to new wave. Not bad!
OG Shoegaze, I like what came out of this, but this is not for me
Prog Rockin
Amazing
Not bad, the rock and roll of the times
Great Irish folk-punk. I should have listened to this long ago since I love fairytale of New York
Can't go wrong with THE BAND!
Great listen, great prog rock
Great punk rock!
Funky Funky Funky Funk
Really great album
Good Irish punk
Jazzy and interesting
Avant Garde and a bit strange.
FInnish glam rock. Surprisingly enjoyable. Need to dig deeper into these guys.
Jazzy, need to be in the right mindset to enjoy it
It's Aerosmith and it's a classic Album
Folk as folk can be. A bit slow and need to be in the mood for it. Needs another listen with attention paid to lyrics and arrangement.
Awesome Alt-rock album. A long overdue intro to the Pixies
A great album with some great social commentary
Great Rock n' Soul Album!
Classic
Makes Kirstie Rage (not against the machine)
Just not a big fan of Thin Lizzy. May have had too much from "The Dock"
Had me from the hop! Jazzy, poppy, post steely dan yacht rocky. Good vibes all around.
Punk rock, hardcore, gotta be in the mood. Plays fast and is short.
Great Album, didn't know I needed this in my life
Love this! Need it in my veins!
Good old classic rockin blues
Meh
Just some classic rock
Amazing vibes. Give me more!
Beach boys fare
Surprised by how much I liked it. Dark pre new wavy cure
Probably the best The Who album
Tribe never lets me down
Fun jamming. It is described as Vegas at 3AM and I feel it.
Get the Led On!
1st Morrisey exposure, need to check it out more
Fire Album
Love me some new new wave
Need to get into more Bowie
Post punk, first track and vocals interesting. Not bad.
I just can't listen to that much bluegrass. A good album, with a good story but just couldn't keep me the entire run through
Big band x salsa/afro-cubano. No words, just horns and drums.
Great New Wave - post punk psyc rock. Glad this came up!
Love me some Neil!
Great pop rock album. Need some more Cardigans in my life!
Really good folk rock. Surprised I enjoyed it. Never knew about Drake but I can see how he would be influential. You can hear the struggles in his lyrics.
Great brit rock album
Metal is just not for me in most cases.
Not a bad rock album.
Phych soul r and b bangers
Classic childhood fav!
Country, but not bad!
A fun psychy funky album, need to give it a better listen.
Its like being in a late night European dance club in a great way.
Great classic rap album. Biggie has the flow
Indie rock standard
Jazzy instrumentals, pretty groovy
Folky, I get why it's on the list but not for me.
Straight dirty blues
Chill Cohen vibes
Need to get into more sonic youth
Bangers and sweet power chords
Some great Shoegaze, listen again!
Great brit pop/rock ALLLLLRIGHT
Interesting. Pretty good and apparently gets covered a lot. Investigate more.
Great live real rock album, the energy really comes through.
Pretty good rock album. Need to give the Kinks a bit more of a chance.
Gives me tribe vibes, good raps, political and not gangster
Love me some dusty. A great blue-eyed soul album. Close your eyes and listen to son of a preacher man.
Apparently there was a bass track on this album that they turned down. I wish it was there. I'm not a big metal fan but it did sound a bit hollow.
If peeing your pants is cool, call me Miles Davis. Great album, great vibe, a Sunday in a chair sipping on a drink with a jazz cigarette
A good live album that captures the time and the talent of Frampton
Interesting rock opera that apparently beat Tommy to the punch. Deserves a more extended listen on my part.
A pretty classic euro new wave album. There is better new wave out there IMO, but worth a listen.
I get the artistry but you have to be in the mood to listen and appreciate.
I was expecting something much harder based on the wiki. Better than expected, like the punk vibes.
Far out man. Meed to give it more of a listen. A bit long for the time I had for it.
Really enjoyable Glam Rock, never heard of this band, but glad this came up. I get why Bowie saw something here.
Love this album. Social commentary, great tracks from start to end, and one that deserves a listen straight through.
Really enjoyed this album. Need to revisit it again!
A Yes Album with some good tunes.
Not bad. Folksy.
A great album, but a bit long for me. I'm not the biggest fan of Corgan's voice, but the mix of genres and styles is interesting. In my reading about the album, apparently he Corgan runs some wrestling company. Fun fact I guess.
Takes me back to my early teen years. Freak on a Leash was great back then but listening to the lyrics of the album as an adult... A bit out there "Tie my pecker to a tree..." I appreciate the trailblazing of a new genre, but I think I've outgrown KoRn
It's some good house, need to remember to throw it on for some parties, but I'm not much of a house head.
I love me some new wave/synth-pop. A great album and I need to remember to listen to more Pet Shop Boyz
Love the vibes of the album. Need to throw it into my reggae and ska rotation.
Not bad, just not my style.
Big sky gives me some disco vibes, definitely 80s with some new wave. A fun pop-y listen.
Some upbeat rock, a pretty fun listen.
It's different, nice, interesting, nice New Orleans Psyc rock?
Great album. Love every track.
Have this on Vinyl. Love it!
Not bad, just not really my style. Just sounds like music from that era.
Never really listened to Dylan, but I enjoyed this a lot.
A good hard blues album with some serious history.
Gritty Neil, a lot of new songs for me on this one.
Folksy, with depth. Really enjoyed the entire thing.
A lot of plaudits for the album but it sounds like a lot of things from that time. Maybe I didn't listen closely enough to appreciate but it was a bit forgettable for me.
I think I like T.Rex after their second listen from albums on this list/generator. Good glam rock, upbeat and fun.
Love the temptations and a few of my favourites are on this album.
A great funk album and it reflects the times.
I like the flaming lips but haven't taken a dive into their discography. This is a good album and I would listen again as it is what I think of when I think of the flaming lips.
A pretty fun pop album, it really grew on me after a second listen.
A good album and an iconic sound.
Liked!
Dreamy, but not something I would put in my rotation.
From reading about the album and from my love of one of the singles, I thought I would enjoy this more than I did. Maybe I overhyped it in my mind? It was good, but didn't knock my socks off.
A good rock and roll album, but not one that will make it into my rotation.
It's alright. I guess I learned about what "chamber pop" is and I guess it's just not something I really listen to. It was okay.
Feels punk rock, but doesn't thrash, I really enjoyed this one.
Great album, nothing more to say!
It was folk. It was ok.
Loved this album. Van Morrison at his best.
I can hear the influence of this in other indie alternative bands, a fun listen and a new one for me.
Great album, deserving of the hype.
Great album, always have time for Pink Floyd.
Great album, and worth multiple listens. The beats are great and Common is out in full force on this one.
90s Grunge, not bad, has a time and place, but a lot sounded the same. Stupid Girl is a great song and the single off of the album and I like the overall theme, but not a musical grand masterpiece.
American Girl is a great song but the rest of the album didn't knock my socks off on the first listen through.
Funky rock. Love RHCP and this is a classic! Some real highlights on this one and after reading Scar Tissue and understanding the issues behind the scenes, it's amazing that they made it and continued to make music.
A bit out there, early electronica I guess? A couple songs were region blocked on spotify :( but it's experimental overall and a bit out there. Maybe worth listening to again in a different state of mind.
Love the vibes of this one. Something that will definitely make my rotation since I'm always looking for good world music to vibe to.
Not my style. More storytelling through song and almost seemed a bit like a parody. Made me think of a serious TROGDORRRR or Flight of the Conchords. I'm sure there are deeper messages, just not my style, though it grew on me as it played.
Ozzy and Sabbath, a great rocking pair. A good album.
Great electronic album. I knew the single but didn't know the artist or expect the album to be so good.
Didn't realize this was a debut album. Iconic 80s rock album.
Pretty good but country isn't my jam. Pretty chill and she has a great voice.
A bit slow for me. It is sad, and melancholic. Really need to be in that headspace to appreciate it I think.
Loved this album. Funky world music.
Nota a bad punk album but I think there are better ones that could be included here.
Chansons, chansons! Felt a bit like a musical. Not bad, but not my jam.
Love that this was recorded live and hat hte musicians just put thier stamp on some Bo Diddley tunes. Great psych rock record to listen to.
Great lives blues album. Interesting backstory behind how this one eventually ended up happening. Need to listn to more blues after this one. John Lee Hooker and Howlin' Wolf are next on my list.
Not really my style. I didn't really enjoy this one.
Really liked this album. Indie vibes and never heard of it/this band before. Great harmonies and rhythms.
Never really listened to this genre or heard of this band. The album has a good amount of variety in sounds, and I would listen to it again.
A bit of traditional influence on I am stretched to your grave, which I appreciated. I don't think I've ever listened to Sinead before. Overall a few slow and dreamy songs and then some upbeat 90s alt/pop? if you're into that. A bit slow at the end.
Great album. Not much to say other than glam rock/bowie essential listening.
Great Blur album!
A good world album. Fun jazzy samba. Some slower tracks, but mostly a fun listen.
Really loved this electronic album. Great vibe and great for a background while doing almost anything. A genre defining and birthing album.
A good folk album, easy listening.
A good jazzy big band record.
Great chill vibes/shoegaze?
A good Reggae album
A pretty great rock album! Surprised it wasn't in my rotation before
Psych rock needs to be really good for me to enjoy it. It wasn't bad, but great for the tech limitations.
Can't tell why this one is here. Sounds like most rock albums and didn't blow me away. It's good punk, but I wouldn't say I needed to hear it before I died.
Great electronic and loungy album
Great world afro-cuban album.
A wonderful soul album.
Not the biggest fan of REM though they have some great songs. Just kind of blends in with the music of the time for me and isn't something I'd personally listen to over and over again.
Really loved this synth pop pre new wave album. Got me moving with a driving rhythm and great electronic beats.
Great CCR Album with their classic sound
Great rap album by an outstanding artist.
Not sure I knew what Trip Hop was but I liked it. A bit dreamy?
Lyrics reflect the times and some variety compared to some of the older Springsteen albums, but I can't listen to too much without it being a bit of a blur.
Apparently the first metal album? I liked it, though its not quite my jam.
One of the better post beatles albums.
Good new wave, haven;t heard it before. I didn't note much but I would add some tracks to a new wave playlist.
New funk/soul/jazz? Really loved this one and have been looking for something like this to add to my rotation.
Love me some CCR, iconic sound and another great record
Not a huge fan of cooper but I understand the show was one to see. Not a bad album but not one I'd add to my rotation.
Good world music album. Love hte arrangement, though it didn't knock my socks off
I didn't know Pop and Bowie worked together, but it really shows. Really enjoyed this one more than expected.
A great classic soul album
Great hip hop album with a lot of variety that transitions into different genres at times. Big fan of The Roots!
Clean, pop perfection.
Another great CCR swamp rock album. Too bad fogerty couldn't do it on his own.
Some fun jazzy samba vibes. Pretty happy and good as a background for life.
A good artistic album but a bit slow for me and not one for my rotation.
The boss brings it, this might be my favourite Springstein album.
I forget just how good Radiohead is sometimes...
A true classic. The harmonies, Wilson is a genius. Nothing more to be said.
Decent punk album.
An AC/DC rock classic
Great poppy dance number
Surprised by this one, a band I slept on but a great album!
Groovy, bluesy, but doesn't stand out for me. A bit adult contemporary and bland, but good for an 80s background groove.
Not sure I have heard any of these Queen songs before. Its more prog rock than I was expecting and personally it didn't resonante with me.
Just don't like it or metal this heavy.
A bit of a groove. I want to dislike it but it's actually pretty good.
A great Bowie album. I enjoy the foray into plastic/blue eyed soul.
Ill
A great rock/glam rock album. Bang a Gong sounds like it could be a Black Keys song.
Actually really enjoyed this. Heard the songs before but never knew who it was.
Really enjoyed this Bossa Nova banger
Some good new wave and an evolution for Depeche Mode
A pretty good electronic album
Didn't realize that blur had more than "song 2" lost me a bit at the end, but overall a good experience
Nothing special for me.
A good departure from thier older stuff. Not a big fan of this version of grapevine but I like the dip into psychadelia.

Another new band for me. Really seem to love this dream pop genre.
Pretty good RnB album. Probably didn't give it the deep listen it deserved.
Loved this!
Big Fan!

Pretty good blues album
A bit slow for me. Interesting but not my taste
Some tasty licks but overall it didn't do much for me
Pretty chill but not a bop.
Really great album. Love the composition and lyrics. Need more Joni in my life.

Great artist with a great album!
A good pop album
Not a go to but not bad
Great album
Great one by Neil
Prefer the Disco days of the Bee Gees. Not really my thing.
Great debut album with some great tracks.
Good old rock and roll of the swinging sixties. Couterculture to the counterculture sprinkled with some misogyny, and it rocks.
Interesting, would like to reallly dedicate the time to take a deeper dive on this one and the others in the series.
Great electronic bops
Some good punk rock that I was unaware of. Thanks!
Not really my style but I can appreciate the rave vibes.

Middle of the road for me.

Never really had the Smiths on my radar, but I'm glad they now are. Great album~
Pretty good rock and rollin'
REally enjoyed this grunge record.

Not bad, but not a big country fan. The honky tonk is real though.
I know Randy from his film scores. Pretty good album!
Now this is the blues!
Great rock/punk/rockabilly
Decent punk sound but not something I'll add to my rotation
Actually really liked this. It enhanced the music and made me like metal!
Great funk/jazz whatever this is I loved it
Rocks pretty hard.

Great album, PJ is relatively new to me but it's a good album.
Great live album, unique in the way the energy comes out.

Not my favourite Hendrix album
Groovy punjab funky sounds.
Not a big fan of GnR but I get why people like them. It all sounds a bit the same to me.
A bit too bluesy/folksy for me on some tracks.

Great rock album!
Great world drumming album!
Jazz with a story throughout.
Fun latin/world!
Though there are some great tracks here, not 100% of them worked for me. Good album, interesting evolution of OutKast, but not 100 from start to end.
