I have listened to this thrice before. I gave it a 3.5/5. I am going to relisten again tonight while I study for my second Microbiology exam. I do not know the information nearly well enough for the exam but for some reason I don't feel a lot of stress. It will probably set in soon. Anyway... album notes below: -eiirp has grown on me, still don't understand why it is so popular -kid a is a dud sorry -the national anthem remains peak -htdc mid -treefingers is too ambient for my liking. nothing happens -optimistic is fine -in limbo is fine -idioteque is fine -morning bell is pretty good -motion picture soundtrack forgettable -untitled whatever overall i am bumping it down to a 3/5

takes a bit to get good but has such a solid run of songs in the middle. the story behind smoke on the water is pretty cool i remember my dad telling me about it at breakfast like a month ago

i’ve listened before- gave it a 4

most of the albums so far i’ve either felt indifferent to, or have not liked on a matter of personal preference. this has been the first i’ve hated. like i would judge you if you said you liked this

reminds me almost of VU + Nico if it leaned into a bit more of that twee pop vibe.

Not a fan in the way I don’t like some of the bjork songs. The beat and the vocals are fine individually, but feel at odds with each other. I just keep waiting for something to pick up. Would rather listen to like spelling or fka twigs
