Very solid. Rays vocals mix well with both the big band and the more string focused sections to make a something worth listening.

Typical bar music. Not terrible but nothing making it some sort of beautiful masterpiece. Worth a listen though.

I know a lot of people call this album melancholy but for me it’s quite comforting. The instrumentals specifically were really just a vibe to me. I understand how it could certainly not be someone’s cup of tea but I beg you to try it.

I usually try to keep an open mind about albums but I genuinely hate this one. The vocals,the backing instruments,all of it is practically unlistenable to me.

I see a lot of people hating on this but it isn’t terrible. I mean it certainly isn’t MY cup of tea but it’s not bad by any means. The idea of mixing the styles of 60’s rock and sea shanties is something I haven’t seen before. It knows what it wants to do and does it.

This is one of the most strange albums I’ve ever heard. It kind of sounds like the ramblings of a schizophrenic man, but it honestly only makes it better.

It’s not bad necessarily, just really not for me.

I was genuinely surprised how much I liked this.

I’m not a huge thrash metal fan but this was actually really good. I loved the high octane wild energy and this has honestly potentially introduced me to a genre I never would have been interested in if it weren’t for this album.

A transcendent experience.

It’s an average pop rap record. I lean more towards disliking this album than liking it but it really could go either way. Nothing special or anything.

The pure funk along with the guitars and the smoothness of it all make it well worth a listen.

Other than the great lyricism (that is in no small part thanks to many of the songs having been written by Bob Dylan) this album really doesn’t have much to it. It’s English folk. It’s plain, boring, and not for me most of the time.

I didn’t really like the vocals but I’d guess that’s just an accent thing.

Is this an objectively good album? Yes. Do I like it? No. The voice of the lead singer makes me want to tear my ears off and the only songs I liked were the instrumental and God Only Knows(mostly due to sentimental value) and al of this comes along with the fact that I hate 60s pop with a passion that burns hotter than the sun. This album is good but I still hate it.

I didn’t get the chance to fully listen to this album due to time constraints but the few songs I heard weren’t for me. Turns out a movie soundtrack can be pretty bad without the movie to support it.

I actually found a British album I liked. Jokes aside though, this album had some very interesting experimental tracks, and the jazz influence combines oddly well with English folk.

I’ve been a huge fan of Dylan for a while now and this album is the best example of why. The raw emotion in the lyrics and vocals create the best breakup album of all time.

I heard someone say this album sounds exactly like the cover. They were right. The vocals sound like nails on a chalkboard.

I really liked the mixing of genres present. I never thought that funk and punk could go well together but here we are.
