It’s the epitome of the 80’s hair bands. What’s not to like? David Lee Roth at the helm and Eddie Van Halen with some sick guitar solos. You can feel the drugs through the music. I mean the energy. You can feel the energy!

This was one of those that you know but you didn’t know you knew. Weird. Good though. Like pimento cheese. I’d eat it.

Shaky opening kissing a teacher, but you know what, maybe there was something in the air that night. Hell yeah! Love ABBA!

Something about this album instantly calms my nervous system. I can take a breath and just let the music wash over me.

Some strange and unusual. Some like a ghost of an old friend. I may not purchase the vinyl but I can appreciate the art.

Well this took me back and now I’m Skylarking all over again! Dear God, it’s fantastic!

Very early 2000s coded. Kinda hit me like a movie soundtrack. Perhaps like That Thing You Do. Give it up for the Oneders (pronounced the Wonders) in a good way!

Willie is one of the greats, in my opinion. Great singer songwriter. Melodies are lovely. Perfect for the time.

My favorite thing about The Mamas and the Papas is when Mama Michelle ate a banana on the talk show because she was mad about having to lip sync.

Bob Marley Legeng was one of the two, first CDs that I ever owned. He has a special place in my heart. Not my favorite album of his but his voice is so soothing and peaceful. One of resistance and love.

Love a singer songwriter

One of my favorite albums of all time. They did a tour for the 25th anniversary of this album and played the whole thing in order. One of the best shows I’ve been to. If you’re slightly cynical about love, speak sarcastically about your heartbreak, and have a dark sense of humor, this is your album.
