Mar 04 2026

Again, not too big of a Led Zeppelin fan, ig i liked “Immigrant song”

Heaux Tales by Jazmine Sullivan
Mar 20 2026

Your average R&B stuff mostly. Despite this album being quite recent, i had not heard a single song from it so yeah i’m happy to receive something on here from this century for once. Best is “Pick up your feelings”. A high 3

Violator by Depeche Mode
Mar 21 2026

Nice

War by U2
Mar 22 2026

I liked “Like a song..”

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Mar 23 2026

Strong start! Probably the best jazz album I’ve received so far. It is however unbearably long and there is no reason to include the announcements as well. A high 3

The Score by Fugees
Mar 24 2026

Peak hip hop icl. I like a few of the tracks but “Ready or not” has always been a banger. This is something you actually have to hear before you die.

Boston by Boston
Mar 25 2026

Saw the first title and knew this was gonna be peak. Bonus points for being relatively short.

Justified by Justin Timberlake
Mar 26 2026

Nice debut, really. “Cry me a river” is a timeless one, my favourite is “Nothin else”. Gotta have respect for Justin, he’s very talented. A lot of the tracks are kinda repetitive tho. High 3

Os Mutantes by Os Mutantes
Mar 27 2026

Some of these are straight noice pollution. A couple of okay ones. A low 2

Fever To Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Mar 29 2026

Have a love hate relationship with yeah yeah yeahs. One minute it sounds nice, the next-unbearable. Not a fan of the screaming/moaning. Favourite track is “Maps”

Who's Next by The Who
Mar 30 2026

Tried to keep track of the songs that get repeated in this so i listen to them only once but there are probably a few i still haven’t heard. Really like the Who i think they’re pretty influential. Fav track might be “Getting in tune”.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Apr 02 2026

Sounds like the soundtrack to an animated movie. Has like 5 genres in it.

Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis
Apr 05 2026

I’m kinda glad this site makes me listen to jazz so often, cause i probably wouldn’t sit to do it on my own. Solid 3 but it was enjoyable.

Document by R.E.M.
Apr 06 2026

Nothing memorable honestly

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Apr 07 2026

Apr 13 2026

Weird lyrics but I strangely like this, with the exception of a couple songs. Favourite might be “Crumb by crumb”

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Apr 14 2026

Ik ppl like this one a lot, the production’s good, the lyric might be the best thing about it. Her voice kinda annoys me at times tho. Favourite track is “Little green”. A high three

The Beach Boys Today! by The Beach Boys
Apr 15 2026

Not a big fan of The beach boys, but I do see the influence they had for their time. I have a feeling this album isn’t their best one so i’m looking forward to receiving something else of theirs.

2112 by Rush
Apr 16 2026

Interesting overall, a little slow in the beginning. A low 4 but that’s being generous.

Duck Rock by Malcolm McLaren
Apr 17 2026

I see how it’s influential ig but still not for me. The obvious best track is “Buffalo gals”

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Apr 18 2026

Like ts, it kinda reminds me of Madonna but either way more disco. The first few songs were great.

Elastica by Elastica
Apr 19 2026

Liked the vocals, nice guitars too. Didn’t pay enough attention to choose a fav track tho

Ten by Pearl Jam
Apr 21 2026

Pretty decent. Might need to listen to it again to appreciate it.

Bone Machine by Tom Waits
Apr 22 2026

Surely this cannot count for actual singing

I rlly like this, though i had only heard “If I had a heart” before. Favourite track: “Now’s the only time I know”

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Apr 25 2026

Perhaps this caught me in a good mood cuz it currently sounds to me like Miley Cyrus sounds to divorced moms in their late 40’s. Only a couple songs I didn’t particularly like. Favourites: “Gimme Shelter”, “Live with me” and “ You can’t always get what you want”.

Club Classics Vol. One by Soul II Soul
Apr 26 2026

Nice but why are they forcing me to listen to a singular song 3 times? Enjoyable enough. Low 4

Wild Gift by X
Apr 27 2026

Was kinda interesting in the beginning, after that it just became bland. Their female singer reminds me a bit of Gloria Gaynor for some reason.

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
Apr 28 2026

Not my stuff but it’s fine.

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Apr 29 2026

Neither lyrics, nor vocals were anything special. Best track: “Round & Round”. Low 3

Apr 30 2026

Like his singing, he seems to put a lot into it. „Free from guitar“ is like diabolic, but since I like the other ones a low 4.

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
May 01 2026

Okay lyrics, but I’m afraid this is as far as this album’s redeeming qualities go. Barely any singing, he just rambles with music on the background. Goddamn harmonica is so annoying. This is not a 1 only because I have respect for Bob Dylan.

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
May 02 2026

This album’s so tuff, despite the screaming. I like the sound effects. Fav tracks: “Piggy” and “Hurt”, though I do prefer Johnny Cash’s version.

Happy Sad by Tim Buckley
May 03 2026

Today years old when I found out this guy’s Jeff Buckley’s father

May 04 2026

These guys mix genres very well, i appreciate that. Some of these tracks are peak summer music. Fav song: “Kids”

Zombie by Fela Kuti
May 05 2026

Nothing special

The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett
May 06 2026

Kinda reminds me of the Beetles. Decent

Melody A.M. by Röyksopp
May 07 2026

Pretty chill. Compared to a lot of shit I receive on here, this is a good listen. Low 4

Go Girl Crazy by The Dictators
May 10 2026

Loved this, good guitars. “I got you babe” is actually well covered (ofc not better than the original)

Horses by Patti Smith
May 11 2026

At times annoying, i feel like other albums of hers are probably better.

On The Beach by Neil Young
May 12 2026

A low 4, but still a vast improvement from the last Neil Young album i listened to. I think my fav track is “On the beach”

Brutal Youth by Elvis Costello
May 13 2026

Very enjoyable, though his voice sounded kinda bad in a few tracks. Would listen again

The Rise & Fall by Madness
May 14 2026

Amazing, almost a 5. “Our house” gets glazed imo. Fav track: “Rise and fall”

May 15 2026

Started off kinda slow but it grew on me icl. The rendition of „Daydreamin“ was interesting, i enjoyed quite a few of the other songs as well. The outro had like 100 shoutouts. A generous 4.

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
May 16 2026

Long ass album but it does have a lot of bangers, “Californication” and “Scar tissue” being the best.

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
May 17 2026

Very unique and recognisable. May be their best album. Fav track: „I know it’s over“. Low 5 but still

Scissor Sisters by Scissor Sisters
May 18 2026

I‘d vaguely heard of this band before the album came up on here. The first thing i noticed is how different each track sounds, which I rlly appreciate. A lot of enjoyable ones i gotta say. One thing i don’t understand is why name urselves Scissor sisters when yall are 3 dudes and one woman. Low 4

Beach Samba by Astrud Gilberto
May 20 2026

Like her voice sm and that song with the kid was wholesome icl. High 3

May 21 2026

Not as good as The queen is dead but still very decent. Fav track: “Stop me if you think you’ve heard this one”. Solid 4

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
May 22 2026

Most listenable out of neil young’s albums i’ve received so far. Fav tracks: “Tell me why” and “Birds”. Almost a 4.

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
May 23 2026

Decent, was surprised to see a cover of “You don’t own me”. I had a fav track but kinda forgot which one it is so. High 3

Songs From A Room by Leonard Cohen
May 24 2026

A couple are really good, the rest might put you to sleep. All are extremely depressing. Low 3

So by Peter Gabriel
May 25 2026

Listened to this half asleep and still like a 5/10 experience. I guess i liked “Sledgehammer”

Murmur by R.E.M.
May 26 2026

Decent enough, still not convinced we should be listening to every REM album. Tav track: 9+9. Very generous 4

Cypress Hill by Cypress Hill
May 28 2026

Didn’t leave much of an impression to me idk

Live! by Fela Kuti
May 29 2026

Not a fan

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
May 30 2026

I rlly like dr Dre idk why particularly i don’t really listen to rap/hip hop on a daily basis. However i do prefer 90’s rappers over more modern ones so i really appreciate the guy. Would revisit this album it was good (with the exception of that one intro).

Different Class by Pulp
May 31 2026

Icl i just love this type of music. Low 5

The Last Of The True Believers by Nanci Griffith
Jun 01 2026

At first thought it was an average country album (a 1) but then it kinda grew on me so i buffed the rating. Gotta say i did not listen till the end, i can only take so much of this genre.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Jun 02 2026

Very enjoyable, i really like a few of these. Solid 4

Atomizer by Big Black
Jun 03 2026

It’s okay, considering the amount of screaming. Fav track: “Kerosene”

Searching For The Young Soul Rebels by Dexys Midnight Runners
Jun 05 2026

Instruments were nice but the vocals were pretty weird most of the time. Best track: “I’m just looking”

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Jun 06 2026

It lacked something but idrk what. Personally i liked a few of the tracks quite a lot, favourite one being: “Crown of love”. Generous 4

Like A Prayer by Madonna
Jun 07 2026

Not Madonna’s strongest, but still a solid 4. She ain’t no vocalist but i can hear influence to at least 3 modern pop singers in only this album so

Jun 08 2026

Didn’t really leave much of an impression on me. At some point i just thought this kinda sounds like The beetles

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Jun 09 2026

Can’t bring myself to like the velvet underground.

Jun 11 2026

Idek

Skylarking by XTC
Jun 15 2026

Feels sm longer than it actually is

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Jun 16 2026

Some songs were great, some not really. Fav tracks: “Brief candles” and “Time of the season”. Could swear i hear some influence on Miracle Musical

I See A Darkness by Bonnie "Prince" Billy
Jun 17 2026

A pretty dark album, but it grew on me icl. Ironically enough best track was “Death to everyone”. Had to sit through at least 10 ads on yt for this since it wasn’t available on spotify. Would not do it again. Low 4

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Jun 18 2026

Cool but like who can listen to this for more than 10 mins without getting utterly annoyed

Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu
Jun 19 2026

Kinda makes me angry for some reason. Nice guitars tho

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Jun 20 2026

I respect bib dylan but really this isn’t my thing

Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz
Jun 22 2026

Pretty chill. Fav track is obviously the original “The girl from Ipanema”, such an influential piece. “Corcovado” is also peak.

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Jun 23 2026

Like a 6,5 its okay. Fav track: “How can you mend a broken heart”. Kinda reminds me of portisehad’s “Glory box” i think.

GI by Germs
Jun 26 2026

All tracks sound the same to me

Jun 28 2026

It was enjoyable overall but honestly i didn’t pay a lot of attention. Might listen again sometime. High 3

Moss Side Story by Barry Adamson
Jun 29 2026

It’s good for what it is but I don’t think it has a place in this list

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jun 30 2026

Fav track: “Stop that train” high 3

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Jul 01 2026

Love the tone of this whole album and it’s definitely one of Radiohead’s best. I actually believe “Weird fishes” might be the song that introduced me to the band, as i briefly remember hearing it when i was little. Fav song: “Jigsaw falling into place”. Probably a couple boring tracks but overall it’s definitely a favourite of mine.

Roots by Sepultura
Jul 02 2026

I mean the instruments were good

The White Album by Beatles
Jul 05 2026

Seemed to me quite diverse compared to Abbey Road, but also definitely not as good. A few really good tracks, including “I’m so tired”, “Martha mg dear” and ofc “Blackbird” is worth the mention. Idk whats going on in “Revolution 9” tho

Basket of Light by Pentangle
Jul 06 2026

I liked “Light Flight”. Female vocals lowk remind me of Kate Bush. A little weird of an album i gotta say.

Nevermind by Nirvana
Jul 07 2026

Some good, some not so good tracks but overall i liked it. Fav tracks: „In bloom“ and „Come as you are“

Group Sex by Circle Jerks
Jul 08 2026

At least its short

Disintegration by The Cure
Jul 13 2026

A high 4 probably. Fav songs: Pictures of you and Lovesong. Amazing instrumentals

The Genius Of Ray Charles by Ray Charles
Jul 14 2026

Really liked some of these, though the sound quality was bad at times. One of my favs is “Don’t let the sun catch you crying’”. Really like the violins in the slower tracks, as well as the tempo of the livelier ones.

Jul 15 2026

I listened a lil bit but i dont really like metal so idk. “Got the life” is kinda good

American Gothic by David Ackles
Jul 17 2026

At first i really liked it but then it kinda grew old, high 3. I think i may have liked the first track the best

Jul 18 2026

Over hated album for sure. Production was amazing and coldplay really do know how to make catchy chord progression without it being annoying if that makes sense. Low 5 cuz too many bangers.

The Dreaming by Kate Bush
Jul 20 2026

As far as experimental goes, this is the most tolerable. Immense respect for Kate Bush tho

Black Metal by Venom
Jul 23 2026

Reminds me of van halen a lot

The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers
Jul 24 2026

Needless to say i was sceptical about this mostly because of the album cover, album name, and song titles, but i strangely enjoyed it. Low 4 but still

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Jul 29 2026

“Kathy’s Walz” was used as a sample for some song that i cannot think of rn but whatever

Superfuzz Bigmuff by Mudhoney

Ramones by Ramones
Aug 01 2026

Low 3

Raw Power by The Stooges
Aug 02 2026

Briefly reminds me of The rolling stones. Liked the first track. Low 4 but that’s still generous

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Aug 04 2026

Absolute peak of an album. “Monday monday” is probably my fav track but only cause i have overplayed “california dreamin” so much. Cass Elliot has a lovely voice. The “dialogues” between the two lead singers are so amazing, the background harmonies are relatively simple, yet perfectly executed. Also the production is great, considering how old this is.

McCartney by Paul McCartney
Aug 05 2026

Fav track:”Junk”. High 3, though there were tracks i didnt like

The Real Thing by Faith No More
Aug 06 2026

Pretty decent. Fav: “Zombie eaters”

First Band On The Moon by The Cardigans
Aug 07 2026

The couple more famous tracks are extremely overplayed and the vocals are annoying sometimes. However, gotta admit the melodies are catchy and generally well crafted. Fav track:”Losers”. High 3 maybe low 4

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
Aug 08 2026

Fav track: “The book i read”. Obviously “Psycho killer” is also good

Blackstar by David Bowie
Aug 11 2026

Bowie is a very unique performer, i’ll give him that. He has songs everybody’s heard of, the praise is probably well deserved. Still can’t quite get used to his singing style tho. Looking forward to the other albums. Low 4, almost a 3
