Tbh it was just alright. My sweet lord is an incredible song but the rest is a bit of a let down. It was just alright.

Spy Vs. Spy: The Music Of Ornette Coleman

All Ratings (254)

Very hit or miss. The music was on point, but sometimes the harmonizing was a bit much. When a song worked it worked Very well.

Hit or miss. I realize that I am more of an Andre 3000 fan than big boi

Really impressed. I had heard of them, but I guess I hadn't listened to them. Excellent production. I found a new band for me.

Alright songs but the recording quality was poor

Not really my genre but very well done.

Not bad but a bit over hyped. Now I am not saying that I would change it if it came on a Playlist, but I wouldn't seek it out.

Basically over produced, soulless pop music. Has a couple of catchy songs but for the most part it felt like a $ grab

I am all good with punk and metal but this felt like a mess to me.

Really solid album.

Alright so this is MY review. Pearl Jam Ten is one of the most influential albums of my life. From the first needle drop until the end, it takes me to another time. This album came out when I was 16. And at 16, I didn't know what the hell i was doing. I was awkward. I was loud. I was passionate. When I would listen to Ten, maybe I couldn't make out what was being said, but I could feel every last sound that was coming out of my speaker. I could feel the frustration in his voice. I could feel the alienation. I felt like that album is saying exactly what I want to, even if people couldn't understand it. Music is about how it makes you feel and the ability to take you back to another time. This album does both of these things as well as any other. Top 10 all time album for me. I would give it 6 stars if possible.

You can see the promise in tom petty with this early album. When it hits it really hits. But you can also see his search for his sound.

Of all the iron maiden albums that you could choose from you pick this?

This felt like it was trying to hard to be cool.
