Timeless. If Bowie released this today, it would have still made waves.
I mean it’s Rage
Not my thing.
BANGERS FOR DAYS
Beautiful.
Stonecold classic
WE WANT THE FUNK!
Raw and different.
Issa vibe, mang.
Ok romp through the past. First three songs are classics. Also enjoy the last song too. The rest were okay. Weirdly, I couldn’t stop thinking about those Christian songs that were playing around then. Some of those songs sound exactly like them.
Goofy ass album.
Better than the Beatles.
Listening to Rio really makes me feel like a white guy in 1985: driving a sports car, railing super models, and doing lines in a bathroom stall.
Some groovy cuts, though not exactly my jam.
Deffo a vibe. Took me a couple of tries to get into it. But once I did, I enjoyed it.
Perfect for a cold autumn day.
Beautiful.
It’s definitely a vibe, so it’s not for everyone.
Eh not for me.
I guess I’ll give this a shot Yeah that ain’t it.
Good album top to bottom.
Fantastic. Gets at the universal truths that the real American spirit is one in which all people struggle to get by in a world that is harsh and unforgiving.
Some good tunes but not my favorite from Bowie.
Like an urban Black Bruce Springsteen
It’s…a lot. Kinda bleeds together with nearly thirty tracks. Some good stuff, but it’s just too much.
Super fun. Had no idea Rod Stewart was in this!
Surprised how much I enjoyed this. Some groovy cuts here.
A pivotal moment in my having musical taste while entering highschool. Now? It’s alright. But I’ll always appreciate this album.
Lukewarm mush.
Just what I needed!
Not my thing.
Classic.
Goes hard and doesnt let up
Really fun!
That first track a doozy though.
To be honest: I almost balked at the length of the album. But I decided to test myself and give it a shot. For the most part this is a pretty good album. Sure there’s filler to pad out the run time, but there’s plenty of tracks here that are fun and catchy. The best way to listen to it is a chunk at a time.
This did not age well.
I mean at this point you know what this album is. You were either with it during the time or you weren’t.
Not really my thing
Did not like this at all.
Beautiful.
Generic rock music you’d hear on the background of some Sons of Anarchy episode.
Oof. Not for me
No one told me country could be this good.
