Lots of classic hits have heard before. Still hits. First time listen through on third stone from the sun. Must have been an experience to listen to this on a psychedelic. Highway chile is a very good blues song. Remember is also a good jam.

Psychedelic blues that should have put more of an emphasis on the blues. Tales of brave Ulysses feels like it should be included in a future oceans 11 movie. Clapton can tend to overuse his wah pedal but this song uses it tremendously. Mothers lament feels like a drunk in English pub song with a bunch of Americans that think they have an English accent but don’t. This song doesn’t really fit with the rest of the album.
Back up vocals and music are very good. His voice just doesn’t do it for me. I have a feeling some of his earlier albums will be on this list and curious if his “singing” style still was the same in his earlier days. Was getting kinda droopy about halfway through the album. Leaving the table has a really good clean sounding lead guitar riff. If I didn’t have your love seems segmented between piano and guitar sections. Traveling light sounds like it belongs in a fugitive movie moving through the rio grande valley trying to get to Mexico. I will say each song sounds kind of the same but has very different styles or uses of instruments to play the same song.
Would have never expected to enjoy hearing a flute in a hip hop album but “If you only knew” does it well. What’s golden feels like a definitive 90s hip hop sound and if an alien asked what that genre sounds like this song would be towards the top of the list of songs to play.
The nostalgia that hits hearing dark fantasy start off is real. Gorgeous has some of the wildest Kanye lines referencing South Park fish sticks episode. POWER is still a fantastic listen on its own but flows well with the rest of the album. All of the lights is an all time rec room banger. Great transition into monster with a lot of other big rappers featuring getting their own verse. So appalled feels like a step down from the rest of the album. Devil in a new dress is made better with Rick Ross on the track. My god the piano intro on runaway. Could maybe do without the constant “look at ya” during portions of the chorus. Hell of a life distortion on the main beat is overkill. Blame game favorite deep cut on this album. Chris rock voicemail is funny from him but the girl only responding with “Yeezy taught me” is annoying. Lost in the woods has an amazing melody. Who will survive in America feels like a perfect closing track.
This album probably doesn’t make the list if it wasn’t Johnny cash. Covers were the best part. Feels like an album to read in the background with a good fire.
This makes me want to find the closest blues/jazz club to go listen to some good live music. BB knocks it out of the park here with this live performance.
First album from an artist I haven’t heard of. Decent listen. Combined nuwave and early 90s rock.
A couple of unique tracks. Run down throwing in the harmonica randomly. Feels like a soundtrack to Tony hawk video game.
Very peaceful easy listening music.
How did this get on the list
