1001 Albums Summary

It is not my thing but I sense great musicality here. My favs from this disc is Pyramids and Lost.

There was it's highs (Stop Your Sobbing, Lovers of Today, Brass in Pocket) but for me it is rather limonade rock than real rock.

Get it on!!! Well...It is a good album but for me it is too slow and the tracks are not distinctive enough. I mean there are a lot of good tracks on this album e.g Mambo Sun, Planet Queen, Rip Off. But for the end of the album the album gettin tiring.

From the 16 tracks I liked 5...That is not so much. It is country....Not my thing. Sorry Lucinda.

It is a little disappointment but it just because his previous works are heavier. I have felt sorry for this guy while listening the album. Sad Beck please dont come back.

My absolute fav is Billy Jack. Jesus and Love to the People are also worht for listening. Soul-funk is not my fav genre but this is a vibrant album.

I get it that this band have had influence on many later bands like Duran Duran, but for me the tracks just were too alike.

I am a big Talking Heads fan. It is not their best album so I give their second album a 4 but it is a BIG 4 with capitalized capital.

My first 5 point jazz album. Everybody's Jumpin' was a little sloopy for me by the way a perfect album.

The perfect mix of blues and psychedelic rock. Lot of people hate Clapton. Well he fucked Harrison's wife. But I am not Harrison so I dont give a shit.

It is far more than OK. I have felt myself as a paranoid android or a subterranean homesick alien. It is my exit music (for a film or for anything) for let down. You can disagree but the karma police will catch you. Listen to this music you wont be fitter or happier, it is electioneering your soul to the core. A hard rush climbing up the walls. But it is no surprises, I think I am lucky to become the tourist on this extraterrestrial journey.

Almost perfect pop-rock album with a little sprinkle of progressiveness.

Absolutely unique. It is like the perfect mixing of Buena Vista and Moby. People who write that this is like phone music please buy a normal headset and amplifier.

It is a 2 with mercy. The album has no arch. Three is a Green Crown saving this album from be a miserable earshit.

Last song is not needed but excluded that it is a perfect hispano album.

Get Ready for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

2 Kollaps of every 5 songs. But has it ups: Sado-Masodub, Tanz Debil, Rivieradub

Few songs are too ambient for me...And hard to distinguish the fact that the album is about the death of his son. But for me Nick is still a stylish badass. It is a clumsy 5.

I had to relisten a few songs but this album is a banger. Maybe it's average tempo is too fast but it is have the flow and the vibe.

Maybe it is a little too long with not the versatile of instruments and sounds for me. But it is one of the best glam rock/nu disco album for sure.
