Grateful Dead
1/5
What the hell is this.23 minutes of mindless soloing followed by nonsense lyrics.I hate this the songs have no hooks, they’re too long and they’re not even musically interesting.I can’t believe this but I think it’s worse than GENESIS.At least those guys were weird with it.The drummers really good but he can’t save this wreck.THERES A 7 MINUTE LONG “SONG” OF FEEDBACK THIS ALBUMS A 0.

The Icarus Line
2/5
Mediocre noise rock. The most obscure so far.I don’t understand why it’s on the list.

Bob Dylan
2/5
Quite boring. Not be try energetic.I don’t really like bob Dylan’s voice.I know that his lyrics are the most improtant thing to his listeners but the songs are so slow for me that I just kinda get bored. Also there’s a 14 minute long song.

Lenny Kravitz
5/5
Yeah it was pretty good.Felt a little long and wasn’t really my kinda music but I liked it.Could’ve done with less Jesus stuff though but that’s his choice I guess

It’s an alright rap album, literally nothing memorable about it all.

The Isley Brothers
4/5
Pretty good
The Who
5/5
Behind blue eyes is very good even if I was introduced to it via memes.won’t get fooled again ruined for me by csi but is still amazing.Getting in tune is a fun little song.Going mobile really needs a backup singer for the chorus.Love ain’t for keeping’s chorus is annoyingly repetitive. It’s short but in the best ways
Genesis
2/5
I do not like this album.I understand that everyone here is a good musician and I can hear how good the drums are but I just cannot stand how long the songs are, how they have no hooks and how self indulgent the whole thing feels.I also don’t like the album cover it’s ugly.
Neil Young
3/5
Liked it more than selling England by the pound.Still not my kind of thing.Very nice sounding but it was a bit too slow and for me.I liked the title track and there was none that I hated but it wasn’t that memorable.
Fiona Apple
5/5
Only got halfway through the album would like to revisit later pretty good so far.I really like the modern sound. It’s folky but kinda catchy. The weird drums are really cool.I love her voice it’s so expressive and the lyrics are pretty heartfelt.
Led Zeppelin
3/5
Did not get to really listen to this album from what I heard it was okay. It’s really long at an hour and 12 mins.I’ll listen to it another time
Muddy Waters
4/5
Good album.I like the sound of the blues.Did get a bit repetitive towards the end.Glad it was only 45 mins
Butthole Surfers
2/5
HORRIBLE.AN ASSAULT ON THE EARS.THERE ARE ONLY TWO SONGS THAT COULD PASS FOR ANYTHING GOOD AND ONE OF THEM IS BECAUSE IT SAMPLES BLACK SABBATH.THE REST OF THE ALBUM IS INCOHERENT NOISE.IT SOUNDS LIKE HOW I IMAGINE A NATURAL DISASTER SOUNDS LIKE SO SLIGHTLY COOL.IF SOMEONE ACTUALLY THINKS ITS GOOD THEN THEYRE A PRETENTIOUS CUNT.(still better than genesis).
Big Brother & The Holding Company
4/5
Good.I like Janis Joplin’s voice and the sound of psychedelic rock even if it can go on a bit too long.
Metallica
4/5
I Like Metallica. The albums basically a Metallica’s greatest hits album with an orchestra.I like the orchestra adding a different sound and since I like all the songs it’s a great album.I’d rate it a five if it wasn’t for the amount of filler.Like half the songs are the new material that haven’t aged as well.
Various Artists
5/5
Great Christmas songs?Weird Phil Spector thanks me at the end.I can’t think of anyway this could be better though so it’s a five.
Beatles
3/5
I liked it.Short.Good songs.Drags at the end though.
Slint
2/5
I don’t get it.It just seemed to be an assault on the ears. Not as bad as locust abortion technique but at least that album had one good song.Maybe if i gave it a Relisten i would get it more but I don’t really want to.At least it’s short?
The Icarus Line
2/5
Mediocre noise rock. The most obscure so far.I don’t understand why it’s on the list.
Ministry
2/5
JUST MORE NOISE ROCK.I kinda liked it .Not amazing..Just never came together for me.Wish I could rate it like 2.5 stars.
The Rolling Stones
3/5
It was fine
Herbie Hancock
3/5
I liked it BUT WHY ARE THE SONGS SO LONG.I could never listen to any of these songs in full because of their immense length.
Dinosaur Jr.
4/5
Pretty good. It’s what I hoped sonic youth and all those other noise rock bands I’ve listened to would sound like. You know noisy but melodic
Stevie Wonder
4/5
VERY LONG so I didn’t get to listen to it all.Need to do that. But the songs I was able to listen to were amazing. So futuristic for the 70s it’s crazy.I understand why people say Stevie wonder is a genius.
Creedence Clearwater Revival
3/5
It’s alright. No need for a 10 minute cover of heard it through the grapevine.I don’t think I dig ccr that much.no bangers but nothing super bad or grating.perfectly mediocre.
Deep Purple
4/5
Pretty good rock. The guitar work is amazing. Some of the songs are a little too long like highway star didn’t need to be 6 minutes long.I might listen to the whole album again.Crazy it’s from 1972.
Gorillaz
3/5
I want to rate this albums 4 or a 5 because some of these songs are pretty amazing but the fact that some of this album is just annoying beats that get on your nerves for half of it just kinda ruins it and keeps it from being a great album.
Dexys Midnight Runners
4/5
I only got to like song 14 out of the 18 songs on this album so I can’t give this rating with complete confidence but I like this sound.overall sounds nice but it can get very tedious. Why does it need to be 18 tracks long and why is one of them come on Eileen live?
Pet Shop Boys
4/5
It’s sad electronic music and I like it.Usually I wouldn’t like the weird monotone delivery of the vocalist but here it’s good.I might revisit some songs.
Pixies
5/5
I really liked this album had a lot of really good songs and was only like 4p minutes long
Duran Duran
5/5
R
The lyrics are pretty stupid but all the songs are undeniably fun and catchy without a single bad song really cool electronic music
Beatles
5/5
so much better than a hard days night all the songs are good.I don’t know what else to say but that’s it’s really really good.
The xx
3/5
It’s nice enough.Pretty empty. Not super interesting.Crystallised sounded nice but this album lacked energy for me.Sounded a bit like monsters and men but kinda worse.
The Incredible String Band
2/5
Not very good at all. It’s all just bad or mediocre tbh.Not a single good riff, vocals range from mediocre to bad.Nothings super interesting.Just boring “world music” which I guess means bad folk.the only reason I’m not giving it a 1 is because it was never horrible to my ears.Just really boring and bad.there was an 11 minute song but I didn’t notice when it ended or began because the album is so monotonous. Not good.Dull.
PJ Harvey
3/5
alright that certainly was “an album” i don’t want to call it bad but I just don’t think I like “folk rock”.It’s just kinda boring and I never felt any energy behind it.Maybe it’s music for old people. For an album called “let England shake” I was expecting more of a dubstep rocky thing.like lots of bass.Whatever it’s perfectly fine.
ITS FINE I GUESS.ID GIVE IT 2.5 STARS IF I COULD.COMPLETELY UNINTERESTING.
Ray Charles
4/5
It’s very good.Nice change of pace.He has a beautiful voice. It kinda sounds like how I remember old Disney movies.
Flamin' Groovies
2/5
Not very good. Most of this album is just boring blues soloing.Vocals aren’t great and none of it is very catchy or original. The best songs are covers of songs that are already good.Don’t understand why this is on the list.Apparently Mick jagger likes it?Hes wrong.
Beth Orton
3/5
3.5 stars it’s fine but better than average slightly.Acoustic songs with deep lyrics
Primal Scream
3/5
I mean it’s fine.I really liked one song but even that song was way too long which seems to be a running theme throughout the whole album. Also for a band named primal scream I expected heavier music. maybe it would work better on a club.
Kraftwerk
4/5
3.5 if I could JUST WEIRD.But in a good way it feels like one long song. The album really represents it well because it feels so sparse and dark. They keep repeating “trans-Europe express” no idea what that’s about.I can’t see myself listening to one of these songs for fun but I’ll still give it 4 stars because I had a good experience.
The Mars Volta
4/5
4 because it’s pretty good but way too long.
Miles Davis
3/5
I mean it’s fine. It’s just trumpet jazz music. It’s pretty sounding but pretty boring.Nothing super grabbing.it’s ok.
Scott Walker
2/5
Operatic type music. His voice was ok but I didn’t really like it to be honest.Didn’t vibe with it.Ignore my other review that was by accident.
Rod Stewart
2/5
Not great.I don’t like rod stewarts voice as it comes off as more of a shriek to me.The songs were all middle of the road with nothing memorable about them.I didn’t like how the acoustic guitar sounded either.
Daft Punk
4/5
I love some of these songs SO MUCH.But most of it is complete filler
The Beach Boys
5/5
Absolutely great songs on first listen.Deserves a Relisten
Billie Holiday
3/5
It’s good.It washes over you. It’s all beautiful orchestral sounding music but I don’t love her voice. It conveys Deep sadness very well though.
Living Colour
5/5
STARTS OF GREAT THEN GETS A LITTLE OK THEN ENDS AMAZING.HOW WAS THIS BAND NOT MORE POPULAR.THEY ACTUALLY DO AN AMAZING CLASH COVER!
Garbage
4/5
Pretty good but the general dreary mood of the album gets exhausting
Led Zeppelin
4/5
It was pretty ok. At least it wasn’t an hour and a half long like their other album.I don’t think I’ll relisten to any of the songs though besides immigrant song. It’s just not my kinda vibe.
The Young Rascals
3/5
It’s peasant enough. It’s not very memorable it’s nice 60s rock/pop with nothing horrible.Nothing amazing either though.
Orbital
5/5
Pretty good beats to relax to.I was doing other stuff while I was listening.Perfect for that.
George Michael
4/5
Yeah I liked it.He has a great voice. Not completely Into the acoustic das vibe though.
5/5
Great album. So many good songs.I’m not a huge oasis fan but can’t deny how good it is.
Carole King
3/5
It was ok.mum liked the covers more than the originals.
Turbonegro
3/5
3.5 stars if I could. It was ok.The sound got grating after a while.Still pretty fun though.
Underworld
3/5
Not really my kind of thing.why are the songs 16 minutes long.
Kate Bush
4/5
Pretty good.
2/5
I dont mind it that much but there us no reason for a song to be 18 minutes long Jesus Christ.
The Byrds
4/5
Yeah it’s alright.Perfectly fine 60s rock pop.
The Go-Go's
3/5
Yeah it’s fine.I wasn’t really listening intently though so maybe it’s better.
5/5
OH MY GOD SUCH A GOOD ALBUM.EVERY SONG IS GREAT.I LOVE IT.
The Flaming Lips
3/5
Not very inspiring.its a “vibe” album.I didn’t really like the vibe though.Maybe it’s a mature thing.
Fleetwood Mac
5/5
Pretty good. Most of the album is acoustic songs which I usually don’t love but I liked these songs. The main title track is completely different and I really like it.Very solid album that I didn’t find tiring even if it is really long.
Lenny Kravitz
5/5
Yeah it was pretty good.Felt a little long and wasn’t really my kinda music but I liked it.Could’ve done with less Jesus stuff though but that’s his choice I guess
Pantera
4/5
It’s pretty good but it can get tedious. It’s weird that they’re racist when thy have this whole song about not being racist.I think?! The lyrics are confusing. The lyrics are kinda bad for most of this album actually.
Alice In Chains
5/5
Great.I should give it a re-listen.It’s heavy but not too heavy for me.The lyrics are ok I guess. The riffs are good and the singers voice is really nice. The subject could be more varied then drugs though.
Air
4/5
Pretty nice beats.I’m not really a chill out kinda guy but I can see why people like this.
Willie Nelson
4/5
Very nice sounding country.I was in the mood for it.I know it’s kinda hypocritical to like this soft acoustic album and not like the others but this one is just better to me for some reason. This guy was 42.crazy
Elvis Costello & The Attractions
3/5
Yeah it’s alright just kinda 70s rock.Nothing really wows me.It’s fine.Nothing horrendous like a 3.5.Maybe I should give it a relisten.
Linkin Park
5/5
Love this album. So many good songs.Best nu-metal band.Chester’s voice is so good and yeah the rapping might seem a bit dated now but it’s still amazing.
Gene Clark
3/5
Completely inoffensive acoustic ballads.Nothing that interests me thiugh.
Elvis Costello
4/5
It’s ok.Better than average.Reminds me of a lot of 50s songs.Doesn’t really sound “punky” to me the guys are too smooth. They lyrics didn’t really land with me though.
Lauryn Hill
5/5
Pretty good. The albums like an hour long though so I can barely diffeenwtitate most of the songs. She comes off a bit preachy like Lenny kravitz in some of it.The singles are really good.I’d give it a 4.5 out of ( if I could though because I didn’t 100% like some of the songs.
The Louvin Brothers
3/5
It’s alright country gospel music. They say the morbid things in the most cheerful ways. It’s all pretty much the same though, but I don’t mind it.
Mudhoney
4/5
I like the tone and sound of the album but the vocalist gets really annoying after over half an hour. The songs are all layered in distortion and fuzz with giant sounding Choruses. It gets exhausting after a while.Even the slow songs sound gigantic.Really liked some of the songs though
Arcade Fire
4/5
Didn’t really vibe with this album it’s a 3.5 stars really but I’ll round it up to 4.It’s indie rock that’s pretty good.
Alanis Morissette
5/5
Amazing album.every song is great.I like her voice and the heavy instrumentals in the background. Her lyrics can be kind of stupid sometimes though.the song high five is pretty stupid overall but you oughta know is so good it doesn’t matter.
Aerosmith
4/5
Yeah it’s pretty good. It’s what I expect Aerosmith to sound like.I’ve never been super into their sound but I get why they’re popular.
JAY Z
4/5
Yeah it’s pretty good.I liked the general feel of the album. The songs all get different which I liked.I liked the beats.I didn’t like the Eminem feature the chorus was just really annoying.
Carpenters
5/5
It’s really good.Close to you is such a good song.I also like the opening track and mr guda. Karen’s voice is amazing. It never gets annoying as well which is crazy because how happy and airy the album is.But there is so much complexity and different parts to the songs it’s crazy.
The Prodigy
3/5
I mean they’re beats. They’re good beats but it’s really long and it’s boring just listening to beats.
Super Furry Animals
3/5
They’re like the Gorillaz but worse
Big Star
3/5
I mean yeah it’s fine I guess.Lots of songs which make them hard to remember like that the byrds record.Nothings bad but nothing really stands out to me.
Pretenders
4/5
Fun and energetic.Brass in my pocket is a stand out song. There’s not a lot more to say about it.Just a pretty good album.
Tina Turner
5/5
Great album. Not too long, almost every track is great and really shows off Tina tuners amazing vocals. The only track that felt a bit dated was 1984.
Bruce Springsteen
5/5
I’m not completely sure on this five. But it’s a really nice sounding album with lots of hooks.I don’t know if I’ll ever go out of my way to listen to it again but I can see why propel would really love it.Really liked that song about the promised land.
Creedence Clearwater Revival
2/5
THIS ALBUMS BORING.ITS SO GODAMN BORING.HOW IS ONE OF THE SONGS 8 MINUTES LONG WITH BORING DRY GUITAR LICKS GOING ON EVERY 15 SECONDS WHILE IT CHUGS ALING AT LIKE 80 BPM HOW DID ANYONE THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA.EVEN PROUD MARY SUCKS.HOW DO YOU MAKE PROUD MARY BORING.ALMOST EVERY SONG LACKS ANY MOMENTUM OR ENERGY ITS JUST ALL BORING MID-TEMPO ROCK.ITS 1969 SHOUDLNT THEY BE DOING INTERESTING CREATIVE THINGS WHILE ON ACID?!?
ZZ Top
4/5
Pretty ok dad rock.I expected zz top to be heavier due to their extreme image. It’s good though.Gimme all your lovin, sharp dressed man and tv dinners are all stand out tracks. Some songs are kind of really generic though.
R.E.M.
4/5
It’s pretty good, there are few hooks there but it lacks energy for me.Album art is sick though.
The Clash
4/5
I like the clash but this album is kind of boring. The songs are too fast to remember due to their dull hooks.I think the ramones are better at writing short memorable songs. The album is still good though, white riot is a good song though it’s lyrics confuse me.It’s a 3.5 so I’ll give it a 4
Common
5/5
It’s good,I should give it a relisten though because he saying a lot of stuff and I’m not really listening to lyrics on a first listen. The beats are nice and the mood is classy.I didn’t expect Kanye west or John Mayer to be here but they’re not unwelcome.
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
5/5
It’s good,it’s very good folk rock.I can’t really spot a problem with it all. It’s not my type of music but all the songs are good.Especially that Woodstock song about being stardust.
Janelle Monáe
5/5
Really really good.Weird blend of classical, pop and jazz.her voice is beautiful and the songs are great.A but too long but I really enjoyed it,might give it a Relisten
Shack
3/5
It’s completely fine britpop.pleasant enough.Nothing amazing. Not really memorable at all.Kinda completely forgotten only 2 minutes of listening to it.
Brian Eno
3/5
That sure was something.I think? It just kept going without a clear goal.It was like those sensory videos for babies but for the ears.Things just kept happening without rhyme or reason. The sounds weren’t horrible or anything but they didn’t have hooks or choruses.I didn’t mind it though.
Richard Hawley
3/5
I mean it’s fine. It’s slow melancholy blues. It sounds like it could be from the 70s.Not much to remember.
Adele
4/5
It’s good, anyone who says this album doesn’t deserve to be on the list is an idiot. It was the best selling album of 2015.Adele’s voice like always is beautiful but I’m not a huge fan of the electronic element and the slow pace.Hello is still amazing though.
The Replacements
4/5
I liked it.It was pinky yet had some very beautiful moments like the song androgynous.Good album
Nitin Sawhney
4/5
I don’t understand how people can hate this album so much.I expected it to be really abrasive and loud from the album cover but it’s mainly just vocal harmonies and beats. The only parts I didn’t like was his weird terrible rapping part but the rest of the album was mainly good.
Gang Of Four
3/5
I can see how someone might hate this album. In parts it’s incredibly abrasive(the song contracts riff doesn’t even sound in tune) and not very good. But damaged goods is a great song and for most of the album it’s generic punk.
Buena Vista Social Club
4/5
Really liked it.It had a really fun energy to it with all the instruments being played really well.Only problem was that the later half dragged a little bit.
Bob Dylan
4/5
Yeah it’s alright,Like a rolling stone is a pretty great song but some of this album is REALLY boring.Desolation row does not need to be 11 minutes long. And bob dylans voice is quite annoying in some parts.
The Crusaders
3/5
This album had me for like the first five minutes, then the song lasted 11 minutes and the rest was instrumental that blended together. What a waste.
The Verve
2/5
I expected way more from the band who made bittersweet symphony. This album was such a dirge man. It’s an hour long and it just keeps going on with boring songs with too much reverb. It sounds like what I think people who don’t like Radiohead think Radiohead sound like.
The Chemical Brothers
2/5
It’s really just beats. Not very interesting tbh.
Gary Numan
4/5
I mean it’s ok,the album feels pretty samey.Cars is amazing but I could take or leave the rest of the album.
3/5
It’s fine I can see why some people hate it.,kick out the jams and ramblin rose was good. But spaceship is 8 minutes of weird 60s (science fiction spiritualism?) that is very annoying to listen to.
The Yardbirds
3/5
Also fine nothing really stood out to me as exceptional or cool. All moderate rock of the 60s.There were a few cool moments that seem to edge on psychedlic.Apparently Jeff beck plays all the songs on this album but none of the guitar really stood out to me.
Incredible Bongo Band
3/5
Listened to this. Most of it is kinda forgettable because its mainly bongo lead.Apache is 2000x better with bongos though.I dont really see why anyone would listen to any of the other songs thoigh, when they could just listen to the originals. Most of which have vocals as well.Like who listens to the bongo version of satisfaction instead of the regular version.
Queen
5/5
It’s a great album. It has Killer Queen on it.Brighton rock id crazy guitar theatrics.Stone cold Crazy is a fun song. Now I’m here’s Intro is great.Bring back that leroy Brown is Kind of a fun olden timey sounding song.In the lap of goss revisited is theatrical and I like it.
Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
5/5
THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING AND WEIRD.THE SECOND SONG HAS THE SAMPLE MARIAH CAREY WOULD USE FOR FANTASY LIKE A DECADE BEFORE.THE THIRD TRACK USES A WEIRD ROBOT FILTER AND IS GREAT.THE FOURTH TRACK IS A NICE SONG ABOUT HOW WE SHOULD BE NICE BECAUSE THERES A LOT OF BAD THINGS GOING ON IN THE WORLD BUT THE THING IS THAT ONE OF THE RAPPERS IS A MURDER SO THAT KINDA RUINS THE WHOLE SONG.THE FIFTH SONG IS A WEIRD SONG ABOUT HOW THEY DREAM TO MEET STEVIE WONDER?!?THE SIXTH SONG IS A RANDOM LOVE SONG WITH A RANDOM PART ABOUT HOW GREAT GOD IS?!?THE LAST SONG IS THE MESSAGE WHICH IS A CLASSIC I HAD HEARD BEFORE BUT NOT IN FULL.THE RAPS ARE SO PRIMITIVE I LOVE IT.THE BEATS ARE SO GOOD THOUGH ITS CRAZY.
Arcade Fire
4/5
I don’t Like this. It’s not bad and out of respect for the fact i can tell a lot of thought and care went into it I’m giving it a 4.But I just really don’t like the sound. It’s really boring for me.Its like fake energy with weird lyrics and it’s too loud and overwhelming. The only song that really stuck with me was “my body is a cage” it had Layers and a build up and a catchy line which from the Frist Time you Hear it just Hits you with such meaning.
Metallica
5/5
I love this album so much. It’s so good. The front end is so stacked.Enter Sandman.Sad but true. The unforgiven.Holier than thou.Wherever I may roam.Nothing else matters. All some of the greatest metal songs ever written in my opinion.Sure the Album Starts to slow down at the end After of Wolf and man but it’s still better than almost 99% of albums. No wonder it sold so well.Kirk Hammet’s Solos are Great the Riffs are great Lars’ drumming is tight it’s all so cohesive.
A Tribe Called Quest
5/5
good Album it Kinds Dips in quality in the middle, but it’s a fun conscious rap album. It feels weirdly dated but in a good way.Don’t hear rappers rapping about “africa being the motherland” a lot anymore. They make two arsenio hall references for some reason.Check the Rhime is great. The whole Albums has this very relaxed chill vibe to it.
Pink Floyd
4/5
This album is only 40 minutes long but it feels much longer. There are only five songs but like three of them are over 10 minutes long.I don’t understand how people can listen to shine of you crazy Diamond. It’s too long and most of it is kinda boring guitar noodling.BUT wish you were here is a great song with a top tier solo so I’m giving this album a 4.
Basement Jaxx
3/5
I mean its fine.It has some good moments.Like a 3.5.A four on a good day.But its a bad day so its a 3
White Denim
3/5
This just kinda sucked.Very boring. The production felt very flat and clean. There was no girt or excitement to it at all
Prince
5/5
Good, such a breath of fresh air after medico ore albums for 3 days in a row.Just from the seat I could tell this was different.Every sing feels like prince trying something new and weird in a good way.Album is long though.Probably deserves a re listen.I enjoyed all the songs but none of them were really great but the overall quality gets it a five.
50 Cent
5/5
So many hooks.Such a good album.I really like 50 cents delivery, his says every word with such venom it’s crazy. In da club,21 questions p.i.m.p,many men, back down, gotta make it to heaven all great songs. The only problem with the album is that its quite long with some filler songs that dont need to be there. But overall this album is great
Aretha Franklin
4/5
Pretty good.Ashe has a wonderful voice.Respect is obviously the best song but the rest aren’t bad.Wouldnt mind a re listen.Very of its time.
Fishbone
5/5
I expected this to be bad because of the average global rating of 3.BUT NO.THIS SHIT IS AMAZING.Its funky its rock its got great hooks.Great guitar solos.Trumpets.Energy everything I like. Its great. And all the songs are under 6 minutes so it never feels like a drag.
Talking Heads
4/5
Pretty good.I enjoyed all the songs but none of them really stood out to me.I enjoy the talking heads .
Pink Floyd
5/5
Oh my god this album is so much better than wish you were here.I’ll admit when I’m wrong and pink Floyd is actually pretty good.I like how the songs flow together and there are a few standout tracks, another burn in the wall, goodbye blue sky,,comfortably numb, run like hell, the trial.ITS REALLY LONG THOUGH and can be kinda pretentious at times but it’s still really good.
Randy Newman
3/5
Ummmm it’s ok I guess.I get he’s playing a character but wow lots of racial slurs immediately from the guy who did “you’ve got a friend In me” was kinda shocking. The music is kinda dull though so that shock factor doesn’t even help it that much.
David Bowie
5/5
Its good.I dont like it as much as ziggy stardust but i still like it.Its way more experimental and less rocky but its still good.Like a 4.5 so im rouding it up to 5 out of repspect, also jean genie is a banger.
Siouxsie And The Banshees
4/5
This isn’t amazing.But I like the vibe.It’s really lo fi and dark and depressing.I don’t know whether I should give it a 3 or a 4.
Led Zeppelin
5/5
Yeah it’s good, you win zeppelin fans.At least all the songs are reasonable length. It’s got whole lotta love, heartbreaker and ramble on.Moby dick has a really long drum solo which I did not enjoy but whatever.
Devendra Banhart
3/5
It’s alright acoustic music.his voice is fine. The lyrics are a bit odd but besides that it’s not very memorable at all.Nothing to hate.Nothing to love .
Taylor Swift
5/5
The nostalgia is too good for this album. So many good songs.I don’t like most of Taylor swifts songs but I don’t know man.I just love almost every song on this album.I can’t help but be basic sometimes.
Nine Inch Nails
5/5
A great album. Its so harsh yet catchy.I love trent reznors vocals and Closer might be one of my favourite song ever.It dips at the end but almost all songs besides a warm place, eraser reptile and downward spiral are great.I love hurt so much his vocals are so tense and emotinal and i love the explosion of sound at the end. This album is just so good.Angry, nhilistic and sexually frustrated all in heavy industrial rock.
Kid Rock
1/5
God this guys sucks."the illegitimate son of man" what does that even mean.He says it twice like it means something."He is the pot god!"amazing lyricism.Does this guy have anything to say other than he does drugs and has sex with women and definitely not men.Hes 100% not gay guys stop asking him.Its so annoying listening to this guy talk about how much of a gangster he is when now we know he grew up super rich and is now a weird conservative asshole."i was born at night but NOT last night""im a capricorn and detroit is where i was born" "drop your boyfriend then drop out of highschool" He tries to do a whole ballad part but i guess his voice sucks so much he thought he had to use early autotune and it sounds terrible. This album is also way too long.I'll say one thing though, its not boring.JESUS CHRIST AN 11 MINUTE SONG ABOUT A WOMAN HAVING "THREE CHILDREN FROM THREE DIFFERENT MEN" WHERE HE SAYS THE N WORD.THEN AFTER SEVEN MINUTES IT JUST CHANGES TO AN EARLIER TRASH SONG?!?!?
Tito Puente
3/5
Yeah it was pretty nice.Good vibes.Latin music has been pretty fun so far.
The Stooges
4/5
It’s pretty good.I like the energy. It’s pretty Dates but compared to the Beatles I can see why this was considered roll so edgy and scary.
Dennis Wilson
3/5
Yeah it was ok.Fun in Parts.
Kacey Musgraves
3/5
Yeah it was ok.Bit Boring.I liked the song about high horse and space cowboys.
Green Day
5/5
Great Album.Every Track Till when I come around is great.Obviously when i come around,Basket case and Longview are amazing.I don’t have a lot to say it’s just great I love it so much.catchy and punchy riffs with amazing drums and great vocals in small punk songs.
The Youngbloods
3/5
It’s fine I guess.I liked the piano. The vocals are fine.no stand out song.eveything is just kinda ok.it goes on a little bit too much with some songs.
Aretha Franklin
4/5
It was pretty nice
Bob Dylan
2/5
Quite boring. Not be try energetic.I don’t really like bob Dylan’s voice.I know that his lyrics are the most improtant thing to his listeners but the songs are so slow for me that I just kinda get bored. Also there’s a 14 minute long song.
Johnny Cash
5/5
I liked it.Good folk with a lively crowd.Not one song I didn’t like.
Christina Aguilera
4/5
Yeah it’s pretty good if too long.I don’t have much to say. It’s a really varied for a pop record which is good and bad.
Aerosmith
3/5
It was fine.Perfectly serviceable rock. Not a single banger though.Plain was bread.
A Tribe Called Quest
5/5
A tribe called quest have just got such a nice vibe.So relaxed and wise.Unfortunately this album is way too long but it’s still great. Can I kick it is one of the best rap singles ever.Did not expect a song about stds called the pubic war.
Megadeth
5/5
I’m so torn.On one hand this album has some of the best metal songs of all time. But also mustaines vocals are so bad and there’s large parts of the album of uninteresting guitar noodling.Marty friedmans solos can be godlike but can also be really boring sometimes. Also I don’t like dawn patrol at all.I’ll give it a five because I’m nice.
Public Enemy
3/5
It’s pretty alright.Interesting sampling.Mot super amazing or catchy. It’s kinda long.
George Michael
4/5
Yeah it’s alright.I like faith. It’s kinda forgettable but nice to listen to.
Radiohead
5/5
An amazing album, almost 0 boring songs.everything from till after my iron lung are BANGERS.fake plastic trees and just are some of my favourite songs.I just love the guitar work and the vocals. It’s just such good rock.
Sade
4/5
Pretty nice sounding jazzy album.Very relaxing.Sade has a beautiful voice.Great instruments as well.
Nirvana
5/5
One of the greatest rock albums of all times.Three guys making an oppressive wall of sound.Dave grohl drumming here is amazing especially on scebtless apprentice.Kurt cobains vocals are amazing.Just pure emotion.there are like three not good songs on this album, milk it,unit friendly unit shifter and Tourettes. But I’d gladly listen to those songs over most other rock songs. The rest of the album is BANGERS.I just love the angst and frustration of this album.
Moby
4/5
Yeah it’s pretty good electronic music.Fun.Bit full towards the end with all the instrumentals.
Little Simz
5/5
Very good.Nice to see more modern stuff on the list. The instruments are nice and the album is kinda stripped back in parts.I like simz’s delivery and lyrics, good.
John Lennon
5/5
It’s good.Of course it’s good John Lennon was a beatle. He wrote happiness is a warm gun.Nothing on this album is like super groundbreaking musically but all the songs are good.Obviously imagine is outstanding evh if it’s legacy has been tarnished by stupid celebrities.but cripples inside and jealous guy are also great.Gimme some truth is kinda weird but I like it along with how do you sleep.Good album
The Specials
5/5
It’s great. It’s fun and lively,I really enjoy the horns and fun guitar parts.you’re wondering now is great and of course is “a message to you Rudy”
Sonic Youth
3/5
I didn’t really get it.Like some of the time I got it and it was fun rock ambit for like 25% it was just noise and not in a cool nirvana way just in a kinda boring way.It was fine.I can see why it was revolutionary without liking it that much.
Q-Tip
3/5
It’s alright.pleasant to listen to.I like a tip as a rapper but there wasn’t a bangers on this album tbh. It’s fine.
Van Halen
5/5
Some of the best heavy rock ever made.the first half of this album might be some of the best rock ever.EVH’s playing is stunning and energetic.David lee Roth’s vocals give the songs so much personality.Every song is a banger.
Black Sabbath
5/5
Some of the greatest heavy metal ever in my opinion.war pigs-electric funeral is one of the strongest runs on an album ever.Sure the last three tracks aren’t absolute bangers but they’re still good.Tony’s riffs are so heavy and memorable and Ozzy’s vocals are so harrowing.Just an amazing album.Makes sense it influenced so many musicians after its release.
The Velvet Underground
5/5
A great albumJust so good,I wish there was more nico I actually really like her voice and signing style even if she says clown weird. Most of this album is straight bangers.I really love Sunday morning and femme fatale.Heroin is what I wish bob dylan songs were like, full of story and atmosphere with the pounding drum simulations a heartbeat quickening and quickening until slowly decreasing it’s just amazing I love it.
808 State
4/5
Pretty decent electronic dance music.Id listen to it again. Not a super strong recommendation but pretty good.
Frank Ocean
4/5
It’s alright. It’s pretty slow but frank ocean has a great voice and some of the songs have good hooks.I wasn’t super focused on the lyrics so maybe I’m missing something.
Hot Chip
4/5
Trippy and weird but in a good way.might revisit it.Cool sounding “rock”?i guess
Very good soft rock, most of the songs were actually bangers I might revisit this album again if I’m in the mood.Bono has a lovely voice even if his lyrics can be pretty heavy handed.
Derek & The Dominos
3/5
Expected way better. Not nearly as good as cream.Just kinda boring tbh.Layla is a masterpiece but even then when it’s surrounded by such mediocrity it makes it worse.Especially since the album is so long it made the long beautiful outro to Layla kinda annoying. Also the little wing cover kinda sucked which is surprising since I thought Clapton and Hendrix were friends.
Oasis
4/5
Kinda disappointed tbh.Not as good as the second album thoigh it still has some bangers. The sound is extremely noisy and sometimes the drums are way too loud in the mix. Also it just steals the riff from “get it on” on “cigarettes and alcohol” like just directly, which I wouldn’t mind if the song was better than get it on but it’s not.Albums is till pretty good though, just not great.
Minor Threat
3/5
I’ve liked a few minor threat songs in the past. But I just didn’t really vibe with this album. It has “strong lyrics” apparently but it’s really hard to tell what the vocalists are saying.also the riffs are “complex” supposedly but to me they were all just kinda boring and generic and all the songs had meh choruses.I prefer bad religion I guess.
The Byrds
4/5
Pretty decent country.I enjoyed it.Maybe not the most memorable thing in the world but it’s relatively short and decent.
Parliament
4/5
I liked it.A but long in points but a good vibe.Weird song about “handcuffing your women” but whatever.Good album with lots of funk.Like a 4.4/5.Some bits dragged on for way too long though.
Björk
3/5
Interesting experience.I like the orchestral sound.Bjorks vocals are beautiful as always.Really weird and avant Garde.Could Never imagine myself playing one of these songs ever again for enjoyment.not that they’re bad.they’re just not really good as individual songs.Cool experience as an album though.
Cat Stevens
5/5
A great album.Car Steven’s voice is beautiful and all the tracks were good.Obviously wild world and father and son are the best songs. The soul in his voice on father and son is amazing.A truly great acoustic album and I don’t usually like those.Great storytelling good guitar Ana amazing voice.
Radiohead
5/5
Pretty good album.I prefer the bends but this album is still good almost every song is a good track. No surprises,Karma Police,Exit music for a film, paranoid android are the stand out tracks.Sometimes it can be annoying with yorkes wailing but beside that it’s a really good album. Not the best of all time though.
Pink Floyd
2/5
Not very good. It’s trying to be whimsical I guess. You can tell drugs we’re involved in it’s creation, but that just leads it to be annoying and lacking in clear structure. The vocals are nice but there’s no Great songs or actually any good songs. It’s all just annoying and not very pleasant to listen to.Lots of double tracked vocals with nonesense lyrics, and random sounds, lots of random Sounds tjat Are just irritating.I’m glad they improved after this and started doing cool Guitar solos. This does not deserve to be on Rolling Stones 500 best albums of all time list.
The Auteurs
4/5
Pretty good indie.Nice vocals and riffs. Not super memorable and I’m not a huge indie fan anyway but I like the album. No song was bad and I think it was better than average.
Rush
4/5
Pretty good.Best “prog rock” I’ve ever heard.I don’t super like geddy lee’s voice but it’s expressive enough.A but indulgent and some parts forgettable but cool guitar and drumming.Good album.
Violent Femmes
4/5
Pretty good (acoustic punk?) record. Not entirely memorable for me but I liked all the songs.Only one true banger for me and that’s the first song but the rest was still pretty good.Good not truly great.
Muddy Waters
4/5
Pretty good blues.A but generic but it has a good energy.
The Sugarcubes
3/5
Odd but fun.But still very odd.I guess bjork has always been bjork.weird song about god.could do without the male vocalist on some songs.Bjork has a beautiful voice. But the songs are a bit overbearing at times to a very annoying degree.
Throwing Muses
2/5
Just kinda loud and noisy but without any memorable choruses or energy.Kinda slow and boring in parts as well.the riffs kinda suck, and the vocals are just kinda meh.it’s like a 2.5 but I’m going for a 2.
The Monks
3/5
It’s alright. The history and aesthetic of the band is honestly more interesting than the music itself. It’s quirky rock but it doesn’t have a lot of hooks.I enjoyed it but not a lot.
Guns N' Roses
5/5
A great album.Almost the entire album is bangers. It slopes off towards the end but that doesn’t matter. It has welcome to the jungle, sweet child o mine, paradise city, nightrain and its so easy.which are all amazing songs. The guitar work is amazing and Axl roses vocals are great.Super catchy songs with great energy. Some of the best rock music ever made.
The Hives
4/5
Pretty good rock if not a bit monotonous.Might revisit. It’s nice that it’s so short.
Nightmares On Wax
3/5
Harmless inoffensive beats to relax to.Pleasant enough. It’s nice and relaxing.Good for studying or reading to,but not much else besides background music.
Radiohead
3/5
It’s alright. It’s mainly just beats and noises.Atmospheric.Pretty empty and kinda boring at some times.Thom yorks vocals are great as always but tbh I didn’t really dig this album that much.
Louis Prima
3/5
It’s all right jazz.I like his vocals and energy but none of the songs really clicked for me at all.
Jah Wobble's Invaders Of The Heart
2/5
Not very good and kinda pretentious. There’s a reason no one really talks about this album. The lyrics kinda suck, the vocals are so so.The instrumental is mediocre and it sounds cluttered.Nothing catchy and sometimes annoying.
Kanye West
5/5
This is an amazing album.Almost all the tracks are bangers. The sampling is amazing and so is the instrumentation, especially the piano, leading to some really beautiful moments.Kanye west is not a good person and the album seems to agree with that. There’s this amazing energy to all the songs, they’re all bursting with sorrow and melancholy. All orchestrated perfectly. It’s such a good album.
Baaba Maal
3/5
Yeah it’s nice.makes good background music.it’s nice to hear music from other cultures. Not much more to say really.songs are a bit too long and not very memorable but there’s cool instrumentation in there.
Blood, Sweat & Tears
2/5
This album feels confused. It’s nice in some parts but rambling and grating in others.I’m not a huge jazz fan so I guess I was already biased against it but the album itself doesn’t even seem to want to commit to just jazz, branching out into other genres such as rock and funk, which could be considered interesting but unfortunately it’s all just kinda bad?I liked the classical parts.Weirdest part was when the bass line was sunshine of your love by cream for like a minute.
Elliott Smith
5/5
I really enjoyed this.Indie music I actually like. The instrumentation is varied and catchy and his voice is beautiful.Songs are concise with melancholy lyrics and catchy choruses.I’ll try to relisten to this albumReally good.Like a 4.6
Incubus
3/5
It’s alright post grunge. It’s not super inspiring and the songs aren’t great. The vocals are nice and the song “drive” is really good but it doesn’t save this album from being kinda meh.
Count Basie & His Orchestra
3/5
It’s just jazz.nice sounding jazz, not really anything special,or at least I can’t tell anything special about it.I’ve never been a huge jazz guy so maybe I’m missing something.Nice enough though.
The Fall
2/5
Didn’t really like this at all.I didn’t like this guys vocals and the songs weren’t catchy. The instrumental was inspiring. Not great at all.
Snoop Dogg
4/5
This albums pretty good. It’s got like two bangers but the rest is just ok.It’s mainly carried by the beats.I love the g funk so much, I feel snoop doesn’t really do anything super interesting lyrically or delivery wise.Choruses aren’t amazing on most songs. But gin and juice and what’s my name are amazing.
PJ Harvey
3/5
Kind of boring.mediocre rock with ncie enough vocals, lots of lyrics about sex but it’s very boring.some of it was nice.
Coldplay
4/5
Pretty nice sounding with some bangers. There’s something about it that holds it from greatness.Maybe it’s lack of pure emotion idk.I might listen to it again.Lovely album art but not a 5/5.Clocks Is good. His vocals are good throughout.
David Bowie
4/5
Really good,I enjoyed it a lot even though it was a bit odd at times.I think David Bowies voice really elevates it.The albums good but not perfect as a lot of it is kinda experimental instrumental and not very catchy.Sound and vision is still amazing tho.
Judas Priest
3/5
It’s alright,i don’t really dig the vocals and the riffs are just ok.I know it’s a really important metal record but even the bangers “login after midnight” and “breaking the law” are just fine. Not amazing
Adele
5/5
A GREAT ALBUM.A TRUE 5/5.so much better than Adele’s other albums it’s crazy. Her voice is so beautiful the hooks of the songs are so good, the emotion, the instrumentation it all just works.I would highlight stand out tracks but they’re almost all bangers.Just a great album.
Prince
5/5
A great album with so many bangers.Such a beautiful sound here with the electronic drums and synths along with Prince’s great guitar work and emotional vocals.Let’s go crazy, when doves cry,I would die for you and of course purple rain are immaculate songs that carry such passion that only prince could capture.
Black Sabbath
4/5
It’s so good but then it gets really boring and jammy at the end. Some amazing bangers but you could shave off like 20 mins of this album and it would be better I think. The wizard, black sabbath and n.i.b. Are some of the best metal song ever made though.
Portishead
4/5
Album is a vibe. Not a lot of bangers expect glorybox. Her vocals are great beats are nice but it’s not a truly great album.Nothing touches me deeply.
Lorde
3/5
It’s alright.Green light is good.It’s a fine album.
Bruce Springsteen
3/5
It’s alright I prefer Bruce’s other works. This album is a hit too long and kinda forgettable. It’s a bit country and I don’t really dig it.
The La's
3/5
It’s alright, all the songs besides “there she goes” is forgettable. It’s just kinda generic indie rock.
CHIC
4/5
It’s good,it washes over you pleasantly all the songs are good, some are too long but the funky disco guitar of Nile rogers is something I really like.
Eminem
2/5
Don’t like it.Only got two good songs and it’s an hour long.Stan is still good. But there’s no need for a weird six minute song about liking your wife, songs not even good. Most of the album is just annoying really and not in a cool way.Probably groundbreaking at the time but just comes across as annoying now.
The Charlatans
3/5
It’s alright,like b-tech oasis.
Frankie Goes To Hollywood
3/5
It’s alright, relax and the power of love is good but there’s no need for a 12 minute song.Too many songs about sex, just gets annoying I don’t need to hear a 2 minute song of people moaning.
Joy Division
5/5
A great album 5/5 I love the melancholic atmosphere created by the bass and electronic drum sound.Ian Curtis’ vocals are amazing and the guitar licks are simple and memorable just like the album art.I love this album
Fatboy Slim
3/5
It was pretty good dance music,I liked praise you and a few other songs but overall it was just ok.
Massive Attack
3/5
It’s was alright, nice beats and ok rapping.I didn’t particularly see what’s so good About it.Maybe I’m missing something
Supertramp
3/5
It was alright, nice piano bits. All the songs were too long and not very catchy. It was fine.
Otis Redding
4/5
Pretty good.Otis redding singing some classic 60s songs. He had a very nice voice.
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
2/5
Prog rock?I think,with a 20 minute song and like 5 mediocre songs.Not very good.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
3/5
Why is there a 14 minute song.Besides that it’s fine.Nick caves usual spooky sounds.

3/5
It’s was alright prog rock, kind of annoying.Nothing mind blowing.
Everything But The Girl
3/5
It’s alright.Nice vocals but not particularly memorable.
Sepultura
3/5
It was alright thrash metal.Sounded a lot like slayer, a lot of the riffs sounded the same and the vocals weren’t anything special.Bit disappointed because I like a few sepulture songs.
Neil Young
3/5
It’s alright.I really like heart of gold and a man needs a maid is ok but besides that the album isn’t super memorable.
Cyndi Lauper
3/5
I Like time after time but I don’t think I even like “girls just wanna have fun” that much really. It’s an ok album.Extremely 80s.
Sisters Of Mercy
4/5
Pretty good gothy rock,can’t decide if it’s a 3 or a 4.I’ll go for a 4.This corrosion is a really good song.
ABBA
5/5
it’s ABBA,it’s amazing.Even if the lyrics are a bit weird sometimes the vocals are amazing and the chorus’s are catchy.”Dancing queen” “knowing me knowing you” “Fernando””money money money money” are all amazing.
The Avalanches
4/5
Nice disco beats.I don’t really like albums made of beats but this album was really nice.
The Style Council
3/5
It’s fine.Theres nothing really noteworthy about this album. It’s pleasant enough.Nothing really stands out.
Jefferson Airplane
3/5
It’s fine (psychedelic?) acoustic rock.White rabbit is obviously the stand out track but besides that the whole album is just alright.Nothing spectacular
The Roots
3/5
It’s alright. It’s kind of annoying actually and goes too long.Just alright rapping.
Justice
3/5
Starts amazing, then becomes just kinda mid.Disappointing.Most of it is just fine.
Barry Adamson

4/5
Pretty good.Stevie wonder is great, this album isn’t his best but it’s still a great listen.Higher ground is obviously the best song.
Leonard Cohen
3/5
It’s alright. It doesn’t outstay its welcome.Leonard cohen’s voice is nice enough,it’s a very dry album quite bare and lacking in energy, lots of religious references, basic Leonard cohen.
The Cure
3/5
Wanted to like this album more but unfortunately it’s mainly instrumental, not a lot of real songs. What we get is pretty good though. But it’s not really a great album at all.
The Libertines

Steve Winwood
2/5
Not good.I don’t enjoy his vocal style and the songs are just plain boring.Feels like a waste of time.
4/5
I don't Care if the lyrics are cringe,The riffs are too good are some of the songs have too strong choruses to not call this album great,Fred durst is such a good frontman and brings such an annoyingly likeable energy. It’s too long though and can be admittedly very annoying.my way and rollin are amazing.why is DMX here,Not complaining
Love
3/5
It’s alright.can barely remember it.Just boring 60s rock really.
Keith Jarrett
3/5

3/5
Quite boring, nothing very interesting here,country/rock 80s radio stuff

The Rolling Stones
3/5
Pretty forgettable besides the one tremolo riff. The rest of the songs are forgettable unfortunately.
Bob Dylan
3/5
I feel like I’m going insane.Bob Dylan’s music is perfectly fine but I don’t see the brilliance that so many talk of when they discuss his music or this album. It’s perfectly forgettable folk music. Not really a memorable song in the bunch.
Sigur Rós
3/5
This just sounds like the ending of a Radiohead song that went on for too long.I don’t really have any feelings on it besides that.
Wu-Tang Clan
5/5
Great Album,so Many good Tracks. It got a Raw Sounds that not completely my thing but the energy is infectious and the beats are great. Not a Bad Song on it.with like four complete bangers.

3/5
Pretty boring and forgettable,it’s not completely awful or anything but I can only remember Cut across shorty.

3/5
Disappointed i liked the pixies other albums greatly but this album is not nearly as good. Not a Single Great Song on it,the Album Gas just a pretty annoying atmosphere to it.
Amy Winehouse
4/5
It’s a good album…but I didn’t truly love it.Rehab is the only song i really liked, the rest of the album is alright.I guess I’m just not an Amt Winehouse kind of guy.I understand why this was so popular though. It’s a breath of fresh air compared to most of the other Music at the time.
The Modern Lovers
2/5
I’ve completely forgotten this Album After listening
De La Soul
3/5
It’s fine mid 90s hip hop none of the tracks are super great,i dont think im Eber going to revisit this album.

AC/DC
4/5
It’s got highway to hell and then all the songs sound the same.though there’s nothing wrong with that.Bit disappointing tho.
David Bowie
4/5
It’s got golden years and then the rest of the album kind of goes downhill from there,i think i prefer Bowies other Albums more than this greatly.

Elbow
2/5
HATED THIS ALBUM.SO ANNOYING.IT SOUNDS LIKE A TERRIBLE MUSICAL.I don’t know why I hate it so much but I do.Only one “semi-good” song and that’s because of nostalgia for the Olympic Games.
New York Dolls
3/5
This was alright 70s rock, like t-Rex but not as good.Apparently the bad was influential.I guess their influence was greater then their music.
