Pet Sounds
The Beach Boys"a cohesive work with no filler tracks"?? Why's there so many duff fillers, then. This is below average tosh, and apart from a couple of tracks, not worth the time.

Couldn't listen to this garbage
Well that was a waste of time.
Generally garbage. YA is almost acceptable and Fame is original, but why? And why on earth did anyone think Across the Universe needed to be covered. And covered so badly. Couldn't even get the tune right.
More my kinda thing. The End of the World is a classic. The rest not up to the same standard but listenable.
Not my cup of tea.
Brilliant
hm
G
1,000 albums to hear before you die, and a dud.
Not a patch on Wheels of Fire, but still brilliant.
Better than I thought it would be.
Pure magic
Not impressed. So many people (well somebody) told me how great they are. so many people are wrong. One good track, some average stuff, and the padding. A Two just because I like Somebody Told Me!
Couldn't listen to this garbage
Why? Why would anyone buy this? Why would anyone listen to it? Why would anyone waste their time recording it? Why would anyone think people would want to listen to it? Why? Why?? Why???
Why Why Why?
OK
Very far from his best. And murders the covers!
The '74 reviews were right.
Deserves a slap.
Much preferred Free/Mott the Hoople/King Crimson before BC formed. Average rock, but never better than that.
Garbage!!!!
Sound quality not good, but music great.
OK
Stunning
Bit boring
What a load of c**p. The cover is the best thing about it.
Bland. In fact blander than that,
What a brilliant album. Great production, marvellous performances by Nick and the band, and v interesting songs/tales.
What a waste of time. There is nothing good about this album. My cat writes more interesting songs.
The sound track was awful. The film was better.
I'm glad I listened to this. Sorry meant I'm glad I'm not listening to it anymore.
.
Brilliant
This isn't post punk. Its metacarp! More crap than crap could possibly be.
Weird, but interesting
Crap. Total crap. And bland AF.
A total and utter waste of time!
Garbage. One catchy riff. Whole album sounds like it was written over a quick breakfast while suffering from the night before.
Clapton on a beach holiday tired out after the excitement of cream. But a couple of good tracks.
Well that was a waste of time.
I thought this was going to be a load of s***. Its not. Not impressed on first playing. But better on second. And really growing on me with each playing.
On first play it was crap, but might be growing on me.
Easiest review ever! This is total s***e. S***e of the s****est quality. Don't waste your time listening to it.
Brilliant. One of the best albums ever. Yellow Submarine is the worst track - it's only a four. And it was very popular with the kids when I was growing up. Everything else is five star plus.
Shite. Tried the infinite number of monkeys trick - if you record enough tracks some of them must be good. They did not record enough!
Another total waste of time!
Brilliant. Only possible complaint is that at times too much is going on. All the band are brilliant, but they don't all have to show off their brilliance the same time.
Like this, particularly Personality Crisis. It sounds far too rough to be American.
The Stones break out from covers to become the best rock band ever.
Brilliant. His best.
Bland and boring. Shame. They obviously can play and "Ricki dont loose that number" (not on this album) is one of my favourite songs.
Crap
Not for me.
A Grammy?????
I used to like Van Morrison. I liked Them, and his early stuff. Moondance is an absolute classic. Brown Eyed Girl is great. But after a few superlative albums he seemed to go to seed, and just stop trying. Like on this album. Some great songs, and a really good band. But VM just detracts from that. He mumbles. I couldn't listen to Here Comes the Night again. He murders it. Can't even get the tune right. So a grudging 2.
Blues rock from the late sixties. This should be my kind of music. Beck has always been hailed as a guitarists guitarist. So many of my favourites list him as a major influence. And Ron Wood and Rob Stewart before Rod really found hoarse. But I hate it. I don't know if Beck is technically great, or innovative or what. But whatever his technical brilliance or innovations I wish he hadn't. They don't add anything for me. A grudging 2 as there are a couple of OK tracks.
Crap.
All sounds the same. There are much better Springsteen albums around!

Kinda obvious why it failed when first released. A couple of good tracks and a pile of garbage.
Brilliant
Mostly crap. Sounds like they are still out of it from the night before.
Nice light wait rocky.
Brilliant. The power, the energy, the excitement.
A few good tracks, but no classic.
Nope! You're wrong! Definitely did not need to hear this. Biggest load of sh 8te I've heard since I (accidentally) stood on the cat.
Pure crap
A couple of great tracks
Beautiful. Just brilliant.
Absolute crap. How can the nation the produced Dylan and Paul Simon produce this?
Not for me.
Nope. They're not.
Fan Tas Tic. The drive and excitement. The angst. Elvis loves music, and if you don't love this, you don't love music.
I really liked CCR in the 60/70s. Great tunes, usually with much more drive, more bite, more excitement than so much of the bland stuff that was around. Wasn't familiar with their albums - couldn't afford albums then. So familiar with a few tracks only. But what a disappointment. They attack each track like a dog savaging a slipper. The vocals are too intense. The guitar a sharp stabbing pain. And it's so short. 34 minutes! Only 7 tracks! Keep on Chooglin and Draveyard Train are for tooo long. They say what they want to say, then say it again, and again, and again, and again. Any how could anyone think the world need another cover of Good Golly Miss Molly? Proud Mary is a classic (I did know this was the original, and still the best).
What a disappointment. The greatest Rock n Roll Band ever! So should be great!! Opens with Sympathy for the Devil, one of the BEST tracks ever!!! Brilliant!!!! Follows that by bring us back down with the beautifully wistful No Expectations!!!!! Superlative!!!!!! But then goes downhill from there. Street Fighting Man has a bit of oomph! Salt of the Earth is good. But the rest. Beautifully played, great production, but just a collection of mediocre country blues. They sound as if they aren't really trying. Should add that if you want mediocre country blues then you want the Stones playing it!
Thank god it wasn't a double.
A poor mans X-Ray specs!
The Lord taught us? TheybLord prayed for you to stop!
Dated? Might be. But brilliant.
Sheer brilliance!
Sings like he cat be bothered singing, so why should I be bothered listening?
A total waste of time.
Absolutely boring.
So laid back he was laid out?
Just not for me.
No. No! Just NO!!!!
An Australian Band? An Australian Rock Band? I don't believe it!
TBS! AC! NWTT!
Never could understand how great musicians could sound so bland.
Brilliant stuff. Just one man and his guitar. No one else. No fancy production. Just brilliant. And if you wreathe Wiki article it shows what sh**s Led Zeppelin are!
Just beautiful
A couple of great songs, but not a patch on "The Lamb..." his last with Genesis.
Crap.
Not for me.
Sh*te
Not his best, but still bloody brilliant!!!!
Much better than expected. But they are nowhere nearStones or Led Zeppelin.
Never heard her, never heard of her. Wish I had.
Huh?
Sheer crap. Over hyped at the tome. Overrated since. Frankie says relax. I say reject.
Had thought they had done some good stuff. Well none of it on this album.
Great stuff boys.
The Master. All that is good about music.
liked the title track. Truly spectacular!
