Not one I will revisit
Not bad. Enjoyed a couple of the songs. Slightly repetitive.
Quite fun, liked that the songs were short and easy to listen to.
Was relieved to get it finished. Songs seemed to go on forever. Enjoyed Layla though.
It wasn't bad but very bleak.
Not bad. Preferred the 2nd half of the album to the first.
Liked it better than I thought it would. Reminded me of thps music.
Another that I enjoyed more than I thought I would. Wasn’t familiar with much more than her biggest hits so was pleasantly surprised.
Not for me.
Got off to a flyer with Ace of Spades but got very repetitive the more I got into it. Not bad but thought it would’ve been better.
Not for me.
Not really a Jazz fan so this album is wasted on me. I’m sure it’s great and can appreciate it’s importance to those that are.
Enjoyable album.
Nope.
Did not like it one bit.
Was skeptical about a live album being included in this but was pleasantly surprised. Might be my most enjoyable listen so far.
Not for me
It was nice, mellow and easy to listen to.
Was nice to hear something familiar
Not a big fan
🐐
Once you accept the fact that that’s their sound, it’s actually a fun listen. Don’t take it too seriously and it’s absolutely fine.
Didn’t think I was much of a dire straits fan but I really enjoyed this
Didn’t like it
I’m sure it’s a classic if you like that kind of thing. To me it’s Tom & Jerry music.
Have to wonder how this album even got on this list.
A couple of real standouts
There’s a lot of very immature reviews of this album here. This man lost his mind when is mother died. He’s done some abhorrent stuff lately but as far as I can see a lot of people on this list has that we don’t necessarily delve in to. The album is a masterpiece. A real standout from what rap was serving up when it came out. Immaculate production and soulful lyrics, there’s not many like it.
