I hate his voice!

Interesting old school soul

Outstanding. Had heard of Zombies, but didn’t know this album. Favorite so far!

Love this album, always have!

Overly repetitive but a couple good songs

Good album overall. This is definitely something for musicians to hear. The way he weaves in themes from well known classical works was really quite something in this album.

Good old fashioned country (or western?) music. Enjoyed listening to this even though I am not a big country music fan.

I don’t generally like this genre, but this was really quite good. High production values, and I found myself toe tapping along.

Just wasn’t my style, but I can see why it was an important album

It’s Queen, what else can you say? This is one of their best albums overall. Bohemian Rhapsodyis probably my least favorite song on the album, but even it is great

Lots of great songs on this album but Disarm might be one of the best songs by anyone ever

Not really my cup of tea even though she was very talented

I knew many of these songs but never realized they were on the same album. The song Crime of the Century is a completely underrated gem.

Really mellow, much different style than I am used to from XTC

An absolute classic. It is easy to see how this album became so influential.

This is one of the rare no skip albums. Every single song is incredible. It starts with “Let the Good Times Roll” and ends with possibly the best 3 song combo ever in “Bye Bye Love”, “Moving in Stereo” and “All Mixed Up”

I love this album. Lesser known than some of their others like Substance, but it is just as great, if not better.

Great album, and a true classic

It was OK. I like later Genesis better but it was fun hearing Peter Gabriel’s voice along side Phil Collins. I’d have guven it 4 stars but it felt loke it was all the same and got monotonous after a while.

This was just awful. I wanted to rate it negative stars.

Lots of things lately show not available in my country. Frustrating.

Wasn’t familiar with the whole album, but wow, great record!

Strange album. Some great songs, but others not so much. Roundabout and Long Distance Runaround are the standouts.

It would be difficult to overstate how big this album was when ot was forst released. Bolstered by MTV, and not that long after Simon and Garfunkel had a big success with their concert in Central Park, this album was massive, opening Paul to a completely new audience. This album is great, top to bottom. My personal favorite is the duet with Linda Ronstadt, Under African Skies. Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes is also fantastic. Great poece of misic history in this release.

Started off well but then everything started to sound the same.

This is one of the best selling albums of all time for a reason. It is hard to overstate how important and ground breaking this was. I sometimes wonder what will survive culturally 500 years from now, like Shakespeare as a touchstone to current culture, that has stood the test of time. I am certain this will be one of those cultural touchstones.

Just not my thing

Both a career and genre defining album, this showcases exactly why Depeche Mode is in the Rock Hall, and why they influenced so many who came after them. Never let me down again, Strangelove, Little 15, and Behind the Wheel are all classics, but don’t overlook The Things you Said, I Want You Now, or Pimpf. Just a great album, no skip, top to bottom.

While I can appreciate it, this wasn’t my cup of tea. It all sounded the same after a while.
