Almost 20 years ago today, I knew one Coldplay song (Yellow), but from an a cappella cover, when some friends had an extra ticket to a show and invited me along. Chris Martin fucked up the words to one of the songs (I think Clocks or The Scientist) and made them start over from the beginning so we'd get our money's worth. I became an instant fan. I think I still have this CD, even though I don't actually have a CD player.

Are these songs cheesy AF? Of course. And I'm here for it. I love the harmonica, the horns, the synth, the vocals. Karma Chameleon is a frickin' bop. I also quite liked Miss Me Blind.

Found this one on YT. Apparently it's a posthumous compilation, so it's not exactly cohesive, but I enjoyed it. Great vocals, fun rhythms, and kind of funky, kind of bluesy.
