Prayers for Rain is a new favorite though

Maybe it was just them ending with the cover of No Woman No Cry that tugged at my heartstrings a little bit but this gets a 4/5 from me; might revisit a few songs later for sure but maybe not the whole thing

Liked a few of the tracks, Billy Jack was definitely the stand out

One for the “drinks and chillin’ with some friends” playlist

Makes for great driving music; the first half is definitely better than the second half. Kinda looses steam after Kashmir.

I was not expecting to like this as much as I did. “I’m Movin’ On” and “Power of my Love” are definite stand-outs

The title track “Cloud Nine” is the stand out

Damn. Love every minute of it.

Cisco Kid and Beetles in the Bog are super groovy

Yikes. Over My Head is the closest to an actual song, but yikes.

I do love a compilation of good cover songs. Somehow this is Christmas music without it actually being a Christmas album.

I feel like teenage me would have listened to this ironically, but other than that, it’s fine.

I honestly blew them off but I kind of love this album. Listened to it twice in one day. Might be a new favorite.

First couple tracks are great, One Tree Hill and Bullet the Blue Sky are definitely the best tracks

I know I’m gonna like some of the other albums but this one is a little too slow for me

Their Unplugged is a 5 star album. This is close. I wish I could review out of 10, cause this isn’t a 4.

I had no idea All Day All Night was an original Bob Marley song, I love that his son covered it.

Pleasantly surprised by this

It’s just great, ya know?

A little bit Sublime, a little bit Tears for Fears, and somehow a little bit Chumbawamba? No song is particularly memorable, but I had a good time

Good driving music, full of major hits, it’s fine. A little one-dimensional, but fine.

I read one of the earlier reviews that it could be worse, but you could do a lot better; that is pretty much it.

The first few tracks kind of reminded me of a Decemberists album, a little folksy, different genres, but it lost me the further along it went

How lucky was I to be a teenager when some of these albums were coming out; you feel things so powerfully when you’re that age that everything is beautiful and life changing. But damn, this album is beautiful and life changing.
