Quality. Not my thing, but it’s good and worth the listen.
With one of the songs that blew my mind when I first heard it (SLTS), this album is still a banger. Hadn’t listened to it from stem to stern in a long while, but it won’t be long before revisiting it again. Amazing.
Ugh.
I have listened to and liked a lot of Ryan Adams’ stuff before, but apparently none of it was on this particular album. Underwhelming.
One of my favorite artists, so I made sure to listen with discernment to make sure it’s really five stars. It is.
As a gen Xer that knows little about this sub genre or era, Lorde seems to be a much better songwriter than a lot of the others out there. I liked this album.
As a Gen Xer that grew up on 80s and 90s rap, it was good to hear a rapper actually talk about some things that matter. Not sure if I’d explore more from this artist in the future, but this was a decent listen.
One of my favorite rap groups, this album falls just short of the previous and following efforts of PE. Still a strong 4/5, though.
