This reminds me of the shit kids in my high school theatre would listen to. I am not a fan. I guess if something is an “undiscovered classic” that has “yet to find its audience” that might just mean it sucks and people don’t like it 😂
boooooringgggggg. i understand why people have a cult following around this album and understand why i usually want to make fun of those people. This album is giving me sonic blue balls, all these build ups for either a weak payoff or no payoff at all.
This Lin Manuel Miranda ass bullshit. Oh god this might be the worst thing we’ve gotten so far
Big brother and the holding company if they didn’t have Janice Joplin: 💀📉😭

Album 1 let’s get it. Accidentally closed spotify so I’m listening from the start again lol The way the guitar talk in ‘Graveyard Train’ is so baller. Tina turners version of proud Mary has so much energy it’s hard to beat it, cool to see the original be such a different vibe from the (arguably) more popular version Yeah, I could see myself smoking opium in a Vietnamese jungle to this album 👍
Definitely a dope proof of concept for the slim shady era. Em is a word play god but most of these tracks are forgettable.
Oh lets fuckin go imma be blasting this in the headphones today boys Ok honestly, this was pretty boring. I feel like this album has sm hype but nothing stood out to me. I really wanna like it tho so imma listen again… Whats happening brother is a vibe Overall man idk I didnt jam to it like I was expecting
these beats/samples are tough. I love the spooky beats they remind me of south houston horrorcore The feature on ‘wicked’ sounds like Denzel curry. OH SHIT ‘It was a good day’ LETS GO This album was surprisingly very politically charged, I dig it. I don’t listen to a lot of NWA so I mostly know ice cube from his acting…I was pleasantly surprised with this
I hate jam bands. Okay ‘somebody’s watching you’ is a vibe I can get behind. Sex machine was long af that blew me. I’m sure under the right circumstances I would fw this more, a little too loosely organized for my taste.
🥱 had some cool Latin music inspired moments but that’s all I can really say I liked abt it
The Arctic Monkeys are so cool, I wish British people were real.. Fav : From The Ritz To The Rubble Least fav : Red Light Indicates Doors Are Secured
Interesting sound. Not sure if I’d ever listen again, but it was just okay and interesting idk. Some cool vocal stuff for sure. 👍: Less than zero 👎:idk they all kinda just bled together
Ray Charles just oozes fuckin SWAG. Two years of torture is sick Bro really interpolated pop goes the weasel on ‘You wont let me go’ that’s a coke head move for sure Pretty much was into every track on this, could be a little slow or repetitive at times but RC is one of the goats 👍:you wont let me go/ two years of torture 👎:Alexander’s rag time band
Man, this drummer kicks ass. Each song I was beating on my legs are tapping a water bottle. Like even for Chug all night, it was kinda corny but the drums saved it I don’t really care for the slow stuff but it wasn’t necessarily bad. Overall decent album but nothing stood out to me
Bruh my entire review got deleted. Fuck it.
So a pretty cool album but as far as punk goes it’s pretty average. I really like the dark tones. The piercing sounds are a unique element that I could maybe dig live but in my car it was painful. Maybe I’m just a yuppie tho. There was a bridge in hand over fist that sounded kinda like a (I think) foo fighters song. That track is a cool departure from the albums sound. Id love to mosh to bullet train to vegas
Man I love cocaine. I haven’t listened to a lot of Aerosmith but walk this way is an undeniable banger. Big tench inch record 😂😂😂 it funny bc he talking about his cock 😂😂😂😂😂 Oh fuck sweet emotion is on here too?? This song is so good, I love the way some films have used it as well. This closing track is a banger too, steve Tyler can be a pretty badass dude when he’s not adopting a 16 year old girl so he can have sex with her!! 👍: sweet emotion, you see me crying 👎: no more no more, round and round
does Gil Scot-Heron give anyone else Andre 3000 vibes? Watergate blues is so dope. This album had a couple slow/disjointed moments but I think it adds to the charm and experience this album was made to create. I am grateful for this one. They talking some REAL SHIT on this album!
What can I say… Tbh I hate this. It’s whiny and cheesy and sounds like royalty free skatepark music. I’m suprised by how much I’m not liking it but I really can’t even make it through I get how this can be appealing for sure…but not rn
Loved the dark sound on this one def gonna be listening to this one a bunch. Pretty good album with great energy. The first coupled of tracks were a little meh but it really picked up.
Didn’t finish tbh and don’t rlly want to…kinda boring but I’m probably biased bc I hate U2 for reasons I don’t fully understand
Good road trip tunes. I love the upbeat pop feel. & tbh I am a sucker for female led groups. The drums are catchy af. Latter half of the album was a little repetitive but didn’t lack in quality.
Reading the wiki definitely made me appreciate the album more. Gonna make sure to do that with all the albums. Bro the high hat roll on track 3 😂😂 trap beat drum kit is crazy “Comb your haiiiiiiir”…it’s a no from me dog* Man this album is such a toss up between a 3 and a 4. Those opening tracks are just such banger tho do imma go with my gut. *(upon second listen it is a maybe from me dog) 👍: A spoonful weighs a ton, the spark thst bled 👎: buggin
The transition from Rap Promoter into Butter…IS SMOOTH LIH BUTTA The influence of tribe is without question but there was a miss or two on here that I wasn’t expecting. 👍: butter, check the rhime, 👎:everything is fair
Kinda rush listening cause I was super busy… Talking heads (specifically David byrne) has always been a toss up for me on whether I loved them or hated them. This album helped bring me a little closer to thst answer. Although some lyrics were a little silly, I did enjoy this album. 👍 air.
Talk about a hair band! This guys got some serious lettuce!! All jokes aside, this album blows. I hate the kind of whiny vocal inflections and dad rock blah blah boring crappy cruddy. Rabbit fighter kinda cool ig….
Nothing crazy here tbh. Upbeat and fun but nothing really stood out.
This music isn’t my cup of tea but even I can’t argue with how great this album is. And I think that shows how much true masterpiece this album is. Every track is a timeless classic. That is insane.
The transition from intro into words 😫😫😫 I dig the fuzzy vocals on M62 Didn’t listen that much tbh…I was into it tho
Ok so I was gonna immediately start calling it corny and cheesy. That I can’t even hear how this has influenced todays music, but then I got to thinking. This hip hop comes from a different mind, a different set of ideas and feelings than our modern hip hop comes from. This is for people who wanna DANCE. For people who bring their unapologetic self and not giving af. Record scratching? Grand master flash? Undeniably HUGE for not just hiphop but all of music. I’m grateful for it.
Ight I thought I was being clever and fun listening on vinyl…turns out this things scratched to shit. Pooping and skipping all over the place 😂. But yeah anyway this shit it’s so fire. side A was all bangers. I forget that the Beatles made reall ass rock. In my head I always right then off as more like folky (not sure why lmk if I’m completely trippin) Side B is a little lackluster but overall good, you just can’t be a first half THAT stacked. 👍 pretty much the entire first half
Let me start by saying: I love all things unconventional. I love anything that purposefully subverts expectations. This album, from what I have learned, does just that. The Beatles were the biggest band of all time, and used this album to completely dissolve themselves of the responsibility a band of that stature would have to make consistent music for a specific audience. I love not just what this album does and says about music but about art in general. That the very creation of it is what’s important. I also really enjoyed playing this on vinyl, I took the album in small chunks through the day and it was the perfect vibe. No notes.
Digging the sound so far and that they kept a small grunge label alive instead of signing some bigger deal. Respectable. Def done dope garage grunge sounds here. I’m super into that, but it doesn’t have much pushing it past the novelty of the genre. The album is a tad too long in my opinion but at least the tracks remain consistent in quality The guitar solo at the end of broken hands was nutty thooo Overall, this album seemed to just be going through the motions. Not much happened. 👍: shoot the moon, fuzz gun ‘91
TRACYYY JAAAACKS (OOO OOO OO OO)🗣️ Bank holiday is the perfect example of a good bad song. Like it’s verses are goofy and random. But the band is committed to the bit and ends up still making it a banger with some killer riffs & a dope chorus. I think that’s the mark of a solid band. To the end sounds like a Gorillaz song. Something off Plastic Beach. This album has no shortage of catchy hooks and dope sounds. This on surprised me with how much I liked it for sure
Marquee moon is a banger, I also think I recognize it from Tom playing it. That guitar melody was like deep in my subconscious. The rest of the album though….underwhelming. I understand WHY this album is here. But I can’t enjoy an album just off merit alone. I need something sonically interesting to hold onto and where this album stands right now, it is not doing that for me. Im bummed bc this album is super talked about in corners of the internet and i was expecting to see why… I think part of my rating can also be attributed to the kind of day I had when I listened, not much I can do about that. I am only a man.
This following review was written by Ai conversation bot, ChatGPT: Sure, here's a 2/5 star review for Buddy Holly's album "The 'Chirping' Crickets": While Buddy Holly's album "The 'Chirping' Crickets" is considered a classic of the rock and roll genre, I found it to be underwhelming. While there are certainly some standout tracks like "That'll Be the Day" and "Not Fade Away," the rest of the album is forgettable and lacks the same energy and excitement. The production quality is also subpar, even for its time. The instruments and vocals often sound muddy and indistinct, making it difficult to fully appreciate the music. Additionally, some of the songs feel formulaic and unoriginal, lacking the unique sound and personality that made Holly's music so special. Overall, "The 'Chirping' Crickets" may be an important piece of rock and roll history, but it doesn't hold up well as a standalone album. There are certainly some enjoyable moments, but they are few and far between. If you're a hardcore Buddy Holly fan, this album may be worth a listen, but for the average listener, it's likely to disappoint.
Man just as boring as buddy holly… Cant nobody love you is good tho
It was just pretty damn average
808s were slapping for no reason on “We’re not right” This album didn’t blow my mind but something about how well produced and crafted it was makes me really respect it. I’m gonna go with my gut on this
Listening to this on the toilet just to flex on him.. Diggin the energy in dirty, dirty feeling tho I guess it’s cool that it’s a “welcome home album” like it’s cool he was in the army I guess but it doesn’t make the music any more enjoyable for me
That opening track has been a favorite of mine for a while. On track 3 now and man she is good but the production is really what’s grabbing me. These all create such a specific upbeat energy It’s a bummer then Winehouse wasn’t a fan of this album. But that tracks with the mistreatment she faced by practically everyone in her life. A king pleasure cover bruh?? Winehouse is goated. This album could easily be a 5 for me but I’m going 4 outta respect for her 💯
“The Trinity Session was like a whisper that cut through the noise -- and it was compelling. It stood out in the midst of the flash and bombast that came to define the late 80's.” Well give me the flash and bombast cause this was melodramatic horse shit 😂🖕🏻
This isn’t really my style but I can definitely say there are some cool vocal moments on this record. I really like his use of repetition, it really gives off this vibe of hunger or longing that I think he’s going for. That paired with his strained vocal makes for a super unique sound.
Rock with you is arguably one of the best songs of all time. It’s just perfect. What can I say man. It’s a perfect album
Oh brother…a late night listen bc I don’t want a DN. Honestly not too bummed abt this not being in spotify…it’s mid. I’m not into folk and blues so this sound is just lost on me, some of the lyrics are cool I guess but some just make me cringe. On the beach is cool tho. A comment on the YouTube video for “vampire baby”: “ADRENACHROME...a vampire right in your face....I hope i'm wrong...so long hollywood don't let the door hit you on your way out to bad so sad for mr young”
What suprised me most about this album is the tracks that ended up being my favorites. He won’t go and I’ll be waiting we’re great and super upbeat. FUN songs. Really surprised me. This album is stacked and to be honest, made me a solid Adele fan(?) but this project is solid too to bottom. Plus my gf really liked the cover of lovesong I like how her albums are ages too, nice touch.
Man, what a disappointment. I’ve always said I like the Gorillaz…I guess I just meant plastic beach. I understand, or at least I want to tell myself, that they were experimenting. Trying to find their sound. But man a lot of these tracks fell flat and were almost annoyingly bad. Some tracks along the middle pick up, the synth in Double bass is pretty groovy. Man I don’t want to hate this thing.
The pretty guitar on sugar Kane was a nice departure from the heavy noise in the rest of the album. Overall the project grew on me. Chatting about it with buddies def made me appreciate it more. Gonna have to look more into the discography to see if this sound is something I’m really into.
When I’m in a meat riding competition and my competition is Drive by Truckers. Dude this guy has a VALLEY GIRL ACCENT it’s so fucking annoying. Can’t finish this. Three great Alabama icons isn’t awful I guess
Excited for this one. Surprised I haven’t listened to this all the way through AND that I didn’t know it was so damn long. Man the intro was beautiful, and played well into track 2. SHEEEEES THE OOOOOONE FOR MEEEEE SHES ALL I REALLY NEED OH YEA I love the spacey sounding synth towards the end of ‘To Forgive’
A lot of fun was had on the keys in this album. I don’t mind it. I like the sonic landscape they make. Oh na he fucked his mom in Track 11, bro is wild. Overall the first half had a couple good tracks and the sound is pretty consistent and cohesive. I def like this more bc of my nerdgasam about Francis ford Coppola and the final track.
Listening to this at 3am for true immersion… Ooo the plucks on mood indigo. 🔥 Def cool it’s considered one of the first concept albums (although some prone one had before this could technically fit the parameters) Guess imma Bobby soxer cause I like franks upbeat stuff a bit more. This is still great though I’ll be around is the side piece anthem 👍:mood indigo, i see your face before me
So I guess the consensus is that this is the best SP album..I disagree but I get it. This album is staked with bangers, a lot of my favorite smashing pumpkins songs are on this project. What surprises me most is that this came out BEFORE Mellon Collie yet the production sounds a lot cleaner and less grungy. Unfortunately the "less grungy" aspect makes me feel like its lacking something that Mellon Collie has. I am trying not to make this about comparing the two, it just definitely informed a lot of how I enjoyed this album. It is a little too polished. shout out to cole, tom, (and pat) learning cherub rock in the South basement is a cherished memory <3
I was about four tracks, and when I was ready to resign, writing this off as another average, Dad rock album. Then can you hear me knocking started playing🔥 the way the guitar matches the lyrics during the hook he’s like candy to my ears. Overall though, that was the only highlight. Most of the album just kinda dredged on for me, not bad. Not good.
Make my mind is pretty catchy…the rest not great.
Bob Dylan, the man who dared to be silly. At first his vocal inflections were annoying but very quickly they grew on me, I started to ~get~ what he was doing. I did just crush a yerbamate so I am slightly just buzzin off caffeine, a clearer minded take is soon to come.. So now it is 7 in the morning, and those vibes are not nearly as enjoyable. What was once silly fun is now annoying as shit. I am a man of serious taste and discretions, Bob dylan is NOT for me
Boring catchy made for radio rock.
I am not super familiar with MBV but when I think of them, I think of soft grunge which is probably not too far off. But with this project, it seemed a lot more trance and electronic. I really liked how those two sounds blend together on this record. Not a single skip for me, perfect atmosphere to chill and do some work with. I seriously kept coming back to this, officially a mbv FAN
Couple highlights like The Weigjt and Chest fever. The electric organ in chest fever FUCKKKS. The rest of it becomes a bit incoherent, drags on in my opinion. Sonically strong but not very engaging, I found myself waiting for songs to end. Definitely did like the songs I liked and the cover art being made by Bob Dylan who co-signed them was a cool nugget of info
the panflute or whatever in Moonage daydream goes so hard for no reason. I really like his story telling in this, never really listened to david bowie and this was a nice introduction. Overall, this grew on me each time i listened..im starting to get rock opera
okay so first listen at 9am...def not the vibe. the repetitive techno and electronic beeps are giving me a headache. I can def spot some parts that I will like as the day goes on. Some catchy hooks and clever lyrical storytelling. The fact that it came out in 1978 is also pretty cool. ok maybe not opening track lost its charm pretty quick... kinda gives uncut gems vibes with the whole super atmospheric techno that makes me stressed out vibe Overall, some catchy sounds, but the repetitive lyrics and sometimes annoying melodies made this an overall rough listen. SAD!
This reminds me of the shit kids in my high school theatre would listen to. I am not a fan. I guess if something is an “undiscovered classic” that has “yet to find its audience” that might just mean it sucks and people don’t like it 😂
Seriously why is this garbage on the list
Overall enjoyable album. I have become more of a The Cure fan in the past 6 months. This project seems a little barebones, makes sense though, given it was the turning point for what their overall sound would become. Super interesting how the bandmates were divided on the direction.
Actual MASSIVE album from a band that played a MASSIVE part in my childhood. lets get it. ..SAD BUT TRUUUAAAHH the melody in ''unforgiven'' sounds like 311 if you really concentrate. (listen #3) im finding myself like waiting for it to be over, i did not expect this reaction. "follow the god that failed" is so edgy like boy im really bout to get you lol this album was sadly disappointing
I do prefer this genre of metal (speed/thrash) over something more polished you would find in Metallica's later albums. However a thrash album like this has less replay value for me...if that makes sense. Albums like this are very cathartic and I love the explosiveness they provide, after that initial introduction though, the album becomes less impactful for me
bro the way they reorganized the tracklist for the expanded edition irks me so bad. like HOW do og tracks become bonus tracks in the reissue????? bottle of smoke is kinda tough bro what is that interpolation on metropolis...crazy vibe switch and damn an even crazier vibe switch with fiesta "guys what if we all just cheered haha like we were all like super hype" -a really smart guy who is really good at making music
I too, am a Sultan of Swing. six blade knife - bro got in the booth and started moaning lmfaoo liking this more than expected. wild west end is a vibeeeeee.
it is what it isss
Title track is a banger, i love jungle beats sm. especially chillhouse. This reminds me of OSTs from old playstation and nintendo games. THIS is good electronica. Spacey and atmospheric but not without some punch drum kits that keep the track from getting boring.
lets go, caught back up and a dope album to kick off the new week. never was a huge beastie boys fan, i think the grungy* boombap sound kinda got corny after a while but i am 1000% open to having my mind changed. #letsgetit woah the beat switch on \"the new style\" is crazy, to hear that style of hiphop beat on a record from the mid 80s was WILD. yeah, rick rubin is the goat, if it weren't for his amazing production this record wouldn't have been anywhere as successful. girls is such a classic. so goofy, so good the gogo drums on Shes crafty is tuffff I wonder what peder would rate this album art *so after listening i don't think grungy is the best word, its just like white guy angst. very fraternal, beastie boys would've been nelk boys
This album is bursting at the seams with purpose, and it has amazing production to back it up. Without getting caught up too much in the politics of the album, i find it very interesting tha in "66.6FM" someone said how disgusted they were by Public Enemy when they saw them open for the beastie boys. Ironic to me because the beastie boys rap constantly about sex with minors, beating, and raping .. meanwhile public enemy is making songs about racial injustice in america and how that creates rifts within the black community.. TLDR; beastie boys are objectively more disgusting but white ppl just don't want to hear black voices. The production in this is amazing too, the sheer volume of samples that are used is almost overwhelming. The rhyme schemes, and how clever and fun the lyrics are while STILL being meaningful. Awesome. The beat switch in countdown between us is sooooooooo fire Also they diss Elvis in the closing track. Automactic 5.
Excited for this album. I remember E-Pro from Rockband 2 which, ironically, I played for this first time in a while yesterday. Earthquake Weather is fantastic. The vocals on Hell Yes sounds like a lot Cake song. MMM: I PUSH. I PULL. THE DAYS. GO SLOW.
boooooringgggggg. i understand why people have a cult following around this album and understand why i usually want to make fun of those people. This album is giving me sonic blue balls, all these build ups for either a weak payoff or no payoff at all.
NIN makes your skin crawl in the most pleasant way. What a creepy album, the cover always reminded me of the SAW movies, never listened to this one cover to cover though. I just know hits off it. WOAHHH heresy coming in hot with some synthwave. that fireee So more on the cover, it was a collection of art pieces created by Russell Mills. Super cool. So this album is a HIGH concept with perfect execution. I wan this project injected into my brain. The placement of "A warm place" the juxtaposition of the beautiful warmth knowing that its coming from a broken and morbid place. Its beautiful, its disgusting. I'm revolted and I can't stop listening. Fun fact that most of you probably know: NIN's 'Hurt' is actually the original while Jonny Cash's is the cover. Surprised me when I found that out. Easiest 5 I have ever given. I wonder how hearing the album earlier in my life would have impacted me.
Boring and just a bit whatever
Better than expected, this kind of country is honest, true, and beautiful. I can dig it.
alright I don't know if Adele is THAT good..two albums???? Tommy wasn't lying this album is perfect for this weather. her vocals are impressive of course, I'm finding the album to be a bit underwhelming though. bro seriously her tracks with the least plays always end up being my faves. Sweetest devotion is a bop.
holy shit the napoleon dynamite song. This song reminds me of hockey. the vibe is necessarily fraternal but there is definitely some Caucasian rowdiness at play here.
LISTEN 1: just off the year & album art I can tell im gonna like this. im expecting dance pop, some shit like "head to toe" or "two of hearts". Fingers crossed. wow i was so wrong. opening track is giving major Talking Head vibes. sea breezes is so bad holy shit LISTEN 2: Ladytron and 2HB are kinda dope He rips Bob Dylan's signature vocals a bit too, this project didn't need to be made.
me: "These guys opened for Kraftwerk, weird" me, the vocals on track 3 just started: "Ah" Not bad, typically don't do instrumental stuff but this was a fun listen. I really like track three, it reminds me of "Needle in the hay" or a song you'd hear in a Wes Anderson movie
LISTEN ONE: OKAY BOOMER! I see the appeal, I get it. But this sound isn't for me. Its little melodramatic and lays it on thick with the 'good ol' american boy' shtick. It is just cheesy AFFFFF Meeting across the river is a potential vibe though.. LISTEN TWO: Tenth Avenue freeze out has some super cool jazz elements i missed on the first listen. the piano is killing. I think the lyrics in 'night' speak to why his songwriting doesn't work for me. Those kind of "My life is so shitty and monotonous but im gonna make it work" is lame I can also hardly understand what he is saying. I cant deny the other great sonic elements though, every musician here was in there bag making this. It sounds great. I dig the intensity of 'She's the One' LISTEN 3: Alright a couple hours have passed. Lets see. Im sorry this lyrics are so fucking corny I cant take it. Tenth Avenue freeze out is solid.
This review was written and edited by Dr. Kaitlyn Forney: I personally, would give this album 5 stars. As someone with a poor attention span, I value good production as well as songs all sounding unique. Unlike Bryce Mattson, I do not enjoy when albums have songs that all start to blend together. Even though I listened to most of this album through Bryce’s bluetooth speaker while hiking up a mountain (strenuous) I could tell that each song had its own unique sound and each one could stand out on its own. I would actually listen to this album again which is unusual for someone as mentally challenged as myself. Thank you Bryce for letting me collaborate with you on this review.
Orange crush and I remember California are the only ones that stuck out to me. Other than that it all was pretty brutal to get through….kinda torn between a 2 and a three. Gonna flip a coin rq.
not really into jam bands. never have been. They are clearly good musicians but that's as much I can say objectively.
I feel like the internet age has made live albums irrelevant. I hope they have at least. These guys shred but I don't need 2 hours of it. Thank god its over. Not listening to the outtakes #sorrynotsorry. Wasn't bad, just repetitive and I don't see how it fits into this list
WE ARE SO BACKKK album art goes. crazy beach boys emocore. Damn I didn't know beach boys had range like this. They take on some darker themes but still keep the signature upbeat beach boys sound. An interesting juxtaposition that works for the most part.
Nothing really matters is an absolute heater. The wispy vibe of this album is hit or miss for me Overall, I was into it, wish I wasn’t boozing by a lake so I could be more on its wavelength.
Whatevaaaaaa
I love Shoegaze, but this was a little bit too slow and somber for my taste. I’m sure the lyrics were good but having them be not in English made it tricky because they weren’t that interesting rhythmically. Will probably listen again, definitely a talented band.
Mamas always on staage 😫🗣️ Mr. Wendel had a really catching beat, not a fan of the old school rap style though.. I can lie, a part of me is just waiting for this to be over.. Man this was really good, even for it’s type of hip hop I was super into it
Lotta songs about girls they down atrocious. I never got into the pixies but I definitely don’t hate this sound. Tim wasn’t lying, Havalina is a bangerrr
I bit too much of the same…meh
I got my mojo workin! *Bbbbbbbbbb* I got my mojo WORKIN!
Sex dwarf is a crazy vibe. The keys, the vocals, the baseline. GOD DAMN what a banger Damn I love new wave.
Todays grew on me very quickly. I think the second half really pick up in quality. I love his vocals I wish he didn’t save em for the bsides Someone give bro a hug Not much else to say, I’m a fan.
Not bad, actually quite good. Flava flav is always entertaining. The anti booze track was cool and their commentary on the black community is always poignant. It’s just more of the same stuff though, not much musical evolution.
Cool. No one does grunge better than papa Kurt but this is pretty dope. I little poppy but not so much that it was annoying or lost it’s genuine grunge. Just okay tho
Wasn’t bad, but I honestly expected more. It was more tame than I thought it was going to be that again I’m not super familiar with the clash lost in the supermarket. Always bangs. The transition from four horsemen and I’m not down as smooth as butter. I’m noticing a trend with these past couple albums where they all have a really solid back half
Naaaa
Big brother and the holding company if they didn’t have Janice Joplin: 💀📉😭
By far the best live album we’ve had. The music itself give it a five but his energy and way of controling the room is MAGIC. I felt like I was there. Some beautiful songs about love and forgiveness. Def gonna come back to this one tomorrow
This Lin Manuel Miranda ass bullshit. Oh god this might be the worst thing we’ve gotten so far
Beyoncé fans don’t play bruh. This wiki page is FAT. Loving this so far. XO is the first track that’s meh to me. Not bad just seemed a little flat especially compared to the rest of the album. God damn the remixes and bonus tracks are heat, I feel like it’s rare for the deluxe tracks to ever be good. The kanye feature 😍😭 First time I wish I could give half stars. Easy 4.5 A couple misfires but besides that it was really great. Imma give beyonce her flowers cause I get it now
I mean what can you really say. Morissey is a goat. The things he did for insufferable art kids…unforgettable.
Boring crud with a coupled good moments
Every song on here is a gem. This thing aged like fine wine, even the lesser known tracks are so well crafted.
Honestly every other time I’ve listened to FKA I was a little set off by her high pitch vocals and trembling sound. But when I listened to a full project I get lunged into the world she’s building and it all comes together in a pretty beautiful way. I liked this more than I expected but I don’t think I’d listen again in a serious way
Catchy up beat fun beat much to say tbh!
John Bonham took the limitless pill before the recording of Moby Dick. Absolutely absurd.
I mean I was going into it exhausted of tbh wit sound but…they’re consistent. They’re good. I appreciate that each song they have something to say. The dedicated terminator X track was dope, I appreciated that. The rock rap was interesting, makes sense they collared with beastie boys around this time.
wasn’t bad, maybe I’ll listen again. I liked the sounds but I don’t have much to say
CULT OF PERSONALITY WAS SUNG BY A BLACK GUY? FUCK YEAHHHH ROCK N ROLL BABY!! They guy who made this list must love Flava flav 😂 Pretty much nothing good after cult of personality, shame
Foot tapping. Catchy. Nothing super special tho, middle tracks get a little dull but they start and end pretty strong. I like the guitar tone on Shut the door.
Undeniably catchy but the gramophone roaring twenties vibe that underlines it is really wack
Beautiful stuff here, reminds me of Gorillaz more slow stuff.
It’s Metallica, it’s not bad. The idea was interesting. The symphony does seem to just be incoherent, ruining parts of songs multiple times I’ve noticed already. Idk this was probably really cool live, that doesn’t make it a good album though.
Absolutely beautiful. I have a huge bias towards Brazilian music and man….stuff like this is why.
Peak sexiness right here. So many classics and each beat was FATTTT. Shout out to puff daddy
Kinda gay but some undeniable classics here
guitar hero music. I feel like I lived through the era where this album reclaimed its final large part of cultural significance. Its impact on middle school boys and boomer dads alike is unheard of. jammed with classics but a couple forgettable tracks, none bad though.
reading mixed reviews on this one. a lot of comparisons to Björk (with a negative connotation). I think this albums ethereal sound and wandering vocals make for a fun & unique listening experience. I am hearing major bjorkisms on track 4 though...
BREAKING THE LAW BREAKING THE LAW Cringe dad rock, the hook on united is a big highlight tho!
Would love to listen to this while rolling on molly in some German boiler room. At my 9-5 office job though? Not a big fan. The music isn't bad, its actually pretty high quality techno, I guess I just don't see its greater utility or reason for why it should be important.
someone get this geezer a glass of water. this is the clint eastwood of folk rock, melodramatic, been around too long, outta touch, and lame.
I'll kiss you is a sleeper banger, the rest is just okay. obv the hits are hits and its no surprise this album is marked for cultural significance. wtf is the deal with he's so unusual lolol
AAAAAAAAAA AA! AAAAAAAAAA AA!
man they was rlly tryna piss me off w this one.....
Fairly mid album, not much to write home about. Never heard of them and it seems like we got an album of not even their best stuff. soooooo...b sides from a b list band is a bit silly. still like it tho
the guitar intro on cheap day return was beautiful, i wasn't expecting that kinda sound from this album.
Snoops music is always fun, This walked the border of comedy music at some pointed and im not sure how to feel about that. I am actually a fan of some of snoops music but on this project I could really only find a handful of stand out moments. Not awful but not something that I think completely stood the test of time.
not even an album i needed to hear before the year ended. This wasn't even a relevant sound the year it came out.
im going to spain is sick, the shoegazey guitar they snuck in was nniiiicccee a couple other small highlights but this album is mostly pretty uneventful
Not bad, we have just been getting a lot of no name bands. I dont see what impact this has had on the music community.
Classic.
Mansize rooster is a sleeper track, I was a fan of the melody. Of course Alright is a classic. I am a bigger fan of this than i was expecting.
Tim said it best, the short tracks is the MOVE. my attention span is fried. Plus these guys have a reallly sick sound. damn the more i listen the more i love it....so glad to have something i really like on this list again. the snoring guy in ex supermodel LOLOL
wdf goin on .... i hate jam music but i respect the artistry and miles davis is obv a GOAT.
just alright, way too long for what it is. 30/40 mins would have allowed for this to feel like a much sturdier project. Sir rockaby has a cool synth(?) melody thing. I like the wobbly sound. P.s This guys legal name is "Charles Michael Kittridge Thompson IV"
Honestly glad Neil Young took his music off Spotify. Any chance we can remove it form the internet entirely?
Finally some REAL music. Middle school boys RISE UP!
30 secs in. already not a fan. Yeah this was buns
Alright I jaut started, I love the instruments but I'm not too keen on the front man. I think different vocals could be better, it is the 90s though so I get it. Okay Learned it is a banger. That little riff at the beginning was siiick. like creepy nine inch nail vibes, they need more melodic break downs and shit in their other songs because this workssssss. back half of this really surprised me.
This shit reminds me of my Dad this shit is such a vibe. SATELLITE OF LOVEEEEEE
The energy they bring is without a doubt impressive. Overall though, the lyrics don’t really bring much and sonically it gets fairly repetitive.
Pretty damn good especially after reading the background for this album. Im between a 4 and 5
A good listen, some tracks id listen to again. Nothing groundbreaking in my opinion. Music for the last couple is giving me Pocket Dog vibes.
Loving all these 30 min albums. And no second is wasted, exactly why I love them. This thing is packed with energy and give you rapid fire of straight bangers. The interlude on track 2 let me know this album was gonna be dope. Pretty sure Nirvana took inspiration from "The Commercial" for "Drain You" on Nevermind.
Actually very down for this today. Lessgooooo. This shit goes undeniably hard. Beach boys can be easily labeled as corny old school music but you listen and its just amazing. Every track is so beautiful. I loved this. I think I have it on vinyl, i hope so.
I just listened to this album for the first time recently. I am a fan, for a long time I never really understood Pixies. I think im coming around.
I mean it isnt bad but also its only 2 songs (the other two are from a CD reissue) so its hard to rank it as an ~album~ at least in the traditional sense
Not sure why, not sure how, but I am enjoying this. i probably would never listen again but, man, it is beautiful. Shes cringe for being anti-spotify like bro ur rich stfu, star off for tht she lowkey jacking bjork but its whatever iguess. BRO WHY DO I LIKE THIS WTF
Track seven is dope, this album is just okay.
Another artist not on spotify cause of some libtard blabberfest..makes me sick. Its's not bad, got some foot tapping stuff. I'm not blown away by any means. Old man goes hard ofc. The intense/dramatic drums are cool. It's cinematic and really adds depth to the project, makes it feel like more of an experience. He might be winning me over a little with this one.. What I think it is...is his vocals...his nasaly kinda tone isnt for me and has a tendency to take the punch out of a very strong performance from the band.
this album art is so sick. First two tracks are two of the best heavy metal tracks ever. and then we get led into the sexy and seductive sounds of Planet Caravan...phenomenal. THEN IRON MAN TOO LOL. this album is STACKED.
Everything In its right place and Optimistic are highlights for me. Not a huge radiohead fan so im ill informed but I'm pretty sure there are albums much better than this? Which makes me excited for those other because this is already phenomenal.
Oh, Where is my mind is on this. That's why we have it. got it. Nvm gigantic goes hard too. What I've noticed with Pixies is they have both a high ceiling and low floor for their music. Something unbearble will play and then one of the best altrock songs youve ever heard will play right after
I mean changes is of course very good but one hit song cant prop up an entire album..
Immediate 5. Justin Timberlake's vocals are phenomenal. paired with the two best producers of all time... this album has no choice but to be amazing.
One of the most entertaining live albums we've gotten. One because the music is pretty and entertaining and energetic. But also, because it showcases what can be FUN about live albums. On track 2 she drops the mic and on track 9 she forgets pretty much the entire song. That shit is COOL and human and reminds us why live albums have any appeal at all. it connects us to the artist
sucks shit
Tears for fears gone country? For track one at least. Very interesting, not sure how i feel.
Love me some new wave. This shits fun and, dare i say, sexy?
This one was a little better, but still, no chance I needed to hear this shit.
Great lyricism cant deny that. Just a bit boring to be honest. maybe I am desensitized but sociopolitical commentary such as "war bad peace good" and "dont beat ur spouse" isnt necessarily groundbreaking I am without a doubt being reductive, but there were few moments in this album that were actually interesting sonically.
Sick ass album, the lesser known songs go hard too. Oh, God! There's no fucking drummer better than Neil Peart! - Chester Cheetah
A bit slow but well performed, this is probably dope live. woah 'Switch' is soooooooo good, its the same formula as their other tracks but something about it just comes together so right. PLUS THE SAX??
Beautiful. I dont see myself coming back to it but it's undeniably a great piece of music. points off for not being on spotify (cringe tax)
really wanted this to be over, not terrible but for sure boring. old electronica can be soooo hit or miss. boring stinker
Nothing wrong with some classic punk.
This album art looks AI generated. sounds good but I am usually not a fan of long tracks, specifically jam tracks. That being said, it was still a well made album.
I was ready to hate this but then immediately fell in love. smooth world jazz with a touch of folk. some of her lyrics are so random tho lol "like a priest with a pornographic watch" WHAT?!?!
ok whatever
They say is so damn good, Kanyes features back in the day are all so gold.
just liiike beforeee,,,,,,EVERYTHING YOU SAY TO MEEEEE
I feel like this was still noisy all while being a fairly coherent album, unlike their following album that had a bit to much edge for my taste. idk. i like it.
hour long cheesefest
Steely Dan is a very specific guy for a very specific mood. This one is groovy and fun!
I feel like this name comes up a lot in music head circles. I have one song liked by him and have no clue when I did that. Excited for this one. driving me backwards is kinda cheeks. back half of this album is getting a bit out there for me. I respect how the album takes that dark destructive turn towards the end. descent into madness type beat. However, the music becomes less good with it sooooo
ok not bad, cool keys. dreamer is pretty dope.
The drums being the same on every track is so funny. like even when you thinks its gonna change, it doesn't. David Byrne is the king of catchy hooks. The good thing and stay hungry are some highlights for me.
Got a little slow tbh but it had a fun front half
Really liked this, its like a secret gorillaz project. The outro track is HUGEEEE.
I FUCKING HATE JAM BANDS
Man i know them 2000s hipster clubs were lit as fuck. i hope if this vibe has a big cultural revival
love daft punk sm. this isnt their best project but man these guys are the ALL TIME!
Not bad, I like her sing talking vibe and some really groovy instrumentals. Points of for not being on spotify
oh brother. the sampling is soooo sick. revolutionary to the genre. but jesus the lyrics are so cringeeee
its good but i just dont careeeeeee im sorry i wrote that but damn, the qtip prodcution was fire. fuck i want to cringe at it but its good
Willie nelson serving long haired butch as of late😍 This isnt bad, just not my taste. I'm sure it resonated a lot with many big country fans
Vietnam core
this better not be pirate rock. ok cool. what is this boring crap grrrrr stfu. srsly why is this on here this is pissing me off. lend some dough has some interesting vocal moments but then it does the do-re-mi shit and i cringe out of my skin. yeah i kinda hate this
this crowd goes hype over anything lol. these guys are good tho, great show. Not a fan of the jarring stabs in nuevo tango. The accordion in these final tracks is kinda losing me...a little grating on the ears.
im fr so curious how this album even showed up on this guys radar. like how did he ever even find it and what the hell made him add it here. gotta be a daughter or niece or something. it aint that bad fr tho, i like new R&B but compared to other projects that have come out, even buy artists shes featured, its shocking that this is on here. man i love anderson paak thoooooo. the otherside is good too. again, this is not bad but im not sure about its long term cultural relevance.
okay sweet. i think i underrated there alt album a bit, i have been listening to 'switch' by them so much. Im excited for this one. INTO THE LIGHT SO FIREEEE. Holy fuck this goes so hard. bro this album is peak.
this album is very middle school boy core, a lot of ADHD vibes from this.
hmmmmm might have to give this two listens. strong start, had some nice instrumental moments. I like the soft female vocalist - they should've played more into that, songs like cajun woman aren't my cup of tea. 1:20 in Autopsy kinda make the album for me
I mean this is so close to something I like. I love everything except the vocals, they are missing the edge that the rest of the instruments have. Granted this was 1987. The vocals being so clean does kinda throw it off for me. In a Jar was a highlght for me
bro track one, those synths that come in around the minute mark. BADASS. Was expecting not to like this first track, so far im into it.
Okay, track three. Nico SAVED this album bruh.. Run run run is buns buns buns. there have been a lot more lowlights in this than i expected, i see the influential nature of the record. But from a recreational enjoyment standpoint, yeah good luck. FUCK YOU ANDY WARHOL
This hasnt been awful, again nothing is connecting with me in any real way. Long distance runaround is pretty dope ngl. Okay yeah its for sure dope. 4 stars just to break the streak
boring and trash but i can respect they know how to play i guess
Damn this shit is groovy. Sexy basslines. Wish there were more lyrics but i don't have an issue with the instrumentals
Fallout 3 music
Anything brazil I eat up right away. Opening track grabs u right away with the hypnotic drums, catchy lyrics, and the dope classic rock style guitar. O Plebeu is a vibee
Man I am just not a bob dylan fan. This is pretty good tho, some nonfolk sensibilites. Altrock vibes with some piano sections and chords. And his singing is TOO bob dylan-ish. Damn i might like this. Alright BD...u got this one
Experimental Bowie i can fw it. Listening again today bc i feel like i tuned a lot of it out yesterday
I remember coldplay was one of those bands that got a lot of trash on the internet in the late 2010's. Im excited to give this band a genuine listen. lol this album is amazing. ive been sleep. I dont think anyone in their right mind can say this is bad. This is perfect.
A vibe shaft is such a pimp
A vibe made rocket league fun
Good but bordering on jamming.....we'll see how this 13 min track goes for me Yeah, about as i expected.
EVERYTHING IISS... brooken,, DONT LEAVE ME HIIIIIII DONT LEAVE ME DRIIIIII Yeah thats some heat right there
i know like two pavement songs, neither on this album. lets see whats good. kinda whiny Overall a good sound but the vocalist kept me from loving this
cool i guess
I TURN TO STONE. WHEN U ARE GONE.
STFU ITS CHRISTMAS BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just been boring fr but with some pretty high highs. bro "This song" gave me a fucking headache
If u get it u get it. "Incredible. It's like the rhythm is hanging on by a thread and they keep trying to cut it with a saw. Definitely best played loud, but it isn't just noise. There is real music in there. This is what I listen to this list for. Something completely new." Man i can hear things like death grips or Deaths Dynamic Shroud being heavily influnced by them. This shit rules hard.
Similar to bob dylans vocal inflections - i do not like elvis costellos singing. I am highkey struggling to finish.
Everytime we get a beastie boys album im always gutted and then I listen and am pleasantly surprised. idk why i have this internalized beastie boys hate in me, THEYRE GOOD. Unfortunately, though on this album, the low lights are pretty low.
When put in the context of David bowie dying shortly after, this album gains a lot of intrigue. Def a lot of modern hiphop influence, i hear some TPAB in there for sure. Sad though, its kinda giving a "How do you do fellow kids" vibe. If he hadn't died two days after I would have an easier time disliking this work but given the circumstances it was made, and a definite bias bc Bowie is a huge artist, its a toss up for what i'm gonna be ranking this.
Not bad but idk what its purpose is
Edgy beatles were just okay I'm coming to realize the song writing is not a deciding factor for me. I need a sound the moves me first and foremost. This album is seen to be praised by its lyrics, those things are relevant to me on my first listen and idk if i feel like giving it a second.
the girl from ipanema and dindi are both great songs, franks covers of them though...a bit lack luster. I do really like the sentiment of this project, a really interesting collaboration. Hopefully they play to each others strengths more as the album goes on. We needed way more Antonio singing in this. Frank sinatra has swag but he doesn't have bossa nova swag, stay in ur lane champ.
Ehhhhh
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSDCzm_srfc omg the synths 😍
I AM A LED HEAD
Man this thing had a lot of potential to be a great chillcore album. It had so much material, and is still melodically very well made. Something about is just a little too plastic for me. I do think I enjoyed it JUST enough to push it to a 4. This thing is probably like a 3.9
This is just okay, a bit one dimensional. You've heard one track, you've heard them all. billly huny billy hunt billy billy billy
you arent getting anything insane but it aint bad. i like this genre of music for the most part
holy fuck
omg stop stop stop stop STOP STOP FUCKING STOP
couldn't even tell when the album ended and went into suggested songs. The music itself isn't bad, its just really boring which makes it a lot harder to enjoy. idk what it is this morning though but im like totally vibing with it. maybe i was just having a grumpy morning yesterday...
SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP
maybe im not depressed enough but this was just okay.
cool im not a huge reggae guy but never complain when i hear it
HE VENUS AS A BOY
While not bolstering as many hits as Electric Ladyland, this album is the most cohesive, well crafted project between the two. Front to back enjoyed this one
Not bad, a bit corny lyrically but instrumentals bang. dare i say, sexy?
absolute heater
Cool lul vibe or whateva
Man i was not expecting to like this. Immediately it just grabbed me and didn't let me go. Infectious beats, clever lines. This thing rules
i mean i guess some songs are okay but seriously what do you want from me. its not even that impressive of a feat to make this large of an album, it was 1999 producing music was easy at this point.
absolute trash. i actually had to pause the last track and take a breather. this is pissing me off.
god rage is so fucking good im gonna be cranking this down the mountain this weekend. FUCK U I WONT DO WHAT YA TELL ME
Just okay, i think Byrne is dope af but this album is pretty carried by once in a lifetime imo.
nah bruh the ASMR on track 4 was wild. yeah this was pretty mid
i mean im just really not a BD guy but im starting to see his appeal i guess. like a rolling stone carries hard
inebetween 3 and 4 on this one. the beats are so hard im just iffy on how much i like the bars. jay z one of the goats tho
yall mind if a white boy catches a vibe rq?
THIS is how you do live albums.
amazing, the back half gets a little slow for me but still great
lul vibe i guess
i know i usually like this stuff but this seemed a bit boring to me and really dragged on
Not sure how to take this one. Just OK, maybe a little too “Indie “but overall enjoyable.
Deja vu, our house, and country girl are all pretty good. not gonna overly hate, this music isnt for me but there are for sure some moments in this I enjoyed
Kid B-sides Just okay from them this time around.
YZY SZN APPROACHING
oh my god make it stop make it stop make it stop
opening track, 30 mins of filler, closing track
the get em high beat is so fire. This album kicks off a series of events that i don't think anyone could've predicted #YE2024
I see the appeal and i see a universe or point in time where i would like this. Bands like matt and kim and grouplove come to mind - early reddit hippie twee core. However, im not in that universe or at that point in time. SOMEONE PUT ON PLAYBOI CARTI
Some classics on here some i didnt even know where by GH. I'd have you anytime is so beautiful, everytime i listen its like the first time
would i listen this often? probably not. did i enjoy the times i did listen to it? for sure.
Surprising little vibe
Alot grungier than nevermind in my opinion. This one has fewer big tracks than NM as well, still a fire project from the boys
Free will and testament is good everything else is shit
perfect vibe - short as hell too which i dont mind. yeah this is certified #chillcore
CARRIED by hard to handle, 2.5 is the perf rating for me but im in a good mood so im gonna round up
Fuck you
Shut up
How can a band go from a like of crap like dropout boogie to something as beautiful as I’m glad. I’m glad is doing a lot of work here. sometimes the nonsense babbling and growling works sometimes it doesn’t
I mean people making fun of it for the title clearly didn't listen. its making fun of that sentiment. the music was just okay, chill stuff but nothing really significant
This feels like summertime with my family by the lake
How can you mend a broken heart sounds SOOOO similar to natural high by bloodstone. Banger album
ummmmmm nah im good
this white lady needa stay off these latin beats
so on the fence abt this. his voice is annoying af and catchy at the same time
yeah you can suck a fat one buddy
Was just talking about seven nation army and how its a popular song that you never want to listen to. its completely been consumed by utility (being used at shit like football games to get people hype). Black Math is fire im pretty sure its in scott pilgrim i could b wrong. Awesome alt blues rock, girl you have no faith is rlly good
Huge
stacked af
I mean Ms. Jackson already puts this at a 5 but the entire project is phenomenal
beat ur meat. go to sleep. I listen to songs from this project at least once a month. Thundercat and this project specifically did ALOT for me growing up. Saw him play this album live, shit was fucking INSANE.
Holy shit this thing rules, prob gonna get this on vinyl soon. This is 100% my vibe. Love that there's some hits from this album as well.
Nothing about this is really grabbing me. it seems fairly plain and just drags along. this is just not my swag at all Lodi, sinister purpose, glory be were some highlights but i dont think id go back to any of them either
FINALLY CAUGHT UP AND I GET THE CURE LFG! never heard this before, at least i dont think.
Try not to compare albums when reviewing bc i think each album should live in its own space but because we had The Cure yesterday i think it is at least somewhat relevant. I enjoyed this album more than Pornography mostly due to this being a much faster and dancier album. The Perfect Kiss and Sooner Than You Think are highlights for me
this is like if "guy who brings guitar to a party" was an entire band
Trust me is FIIREEEE. most of it tho just isn't for me. i respect her and totally see the vibe but i cant connect with it.
pretty awful actually. make more songs like Maps
boring/one dimensional/british
(track 8) HE FEELS LIKE BOMBING WHAT??????????
Album really dropped off for me in the second half. Reminds me a lot of chicano batman. im gonna go high on this one
not my vibe broski
i wonder what other albums could've been on this list if Deep Purple didnt make one good song that one time
this is whats playing in the average dads head at any giving moment
track 2 theres a wind instrument that plays like 6 mins in and it sounds like this SUPER deep bass from like a drum machine or something its so fire. i like this a lot actually wow
she speaks to me
ehhh just okay
not my swag
50 cent was never really relvant to me but i knew he was an undeniable boss. with this album i can see why. not sure of he went on to make equally good album through his career but this thing is HEAT
oh so its like from that movie haha oh yeah cool no like that scary movie haha yeah cool lol
holy fuck
very dope very cool
i have this on vinyl. a vibe for sure
Honestly finding this kinda hard to get through. I dont think im a very big talking heads fan.
undeniably powerful singer
Man this really won me over, it is still a bit too long but the beats are amazing and CARRIED. Common starting spitting a lot more in the second half of this.
Blue in green is the perfect song. This is music.
THIS IS A WORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRLD PREMIERE
very dull songwriting. although it does capture the cowboy vibe pretty well.
slightly more edgier the beatles. i dig it.
Not what id typically listen to but i still enjoyed it. Have this on vinyl somehow lol
FEELINGS. FEEELINGSSS. FEELINGS
amy winehouse is the most prevalent example of needing to look into a discog. all her hits are good ofc but when u listen to her bsides and less streamed tracks you get such a bigger look into how gifted of a artist she was.
borderline insufferable at times but there isnt a lack of talent here. most borderline 2 ive given so far. nvm they said "im going back to east virginia" but are from London. when will these brits learn.
shit i liked it idk what the hates abt
i fw this. might be a bit early to call but i think id take this brit-alt-punk is over Arctic Monkeys...
tight. didnt know the who was this british
meirl
two albums in a row use the phrase "changing of the guard" the hidden guitar outro is cool. this is what plays in the head of a middle school boy while he eats mozzarella sticks
I doubt how important this album is but i can appreciate what its doing. interesting artifact, and bro shreds tho
bro the horns in the first track are acc fire as fuck. and the guitar on who was that...insaneeee
i caught vibe
i get it, just not something i would gravitate towards
digging the spooky vibes in track three. these tracks dont go anywhere so its hard to love them but they arent bad by any means. Track 11 rocks too
pretty sick actually. listening to this while playing modern warfare 2 was probably awesome
not bad
kino
a cheeky thom cameo. i like the instrumentals but idk if her voice is for me idk what it is. low three
Man its avantgarde. i dont love it but there are these little golden nugget moments where it all makes sense. i gotta respect it
just mid whatver ok fine
bring back old school white trash
damn this rules hard.
this one is just ight. kashmir thooo
i dont think the bluesy swamp rock resonates that much with me. but the hits are good obv
man idk like idk man it was good but also why is he singing like that
love me some new wave, its my life is a banger. unfortunately thats not on this album. nothing on here is really doing much
Hits were good but man this was boring. I guess the power operatic rock thing was cool in the 70s but it has no charm for me.
funky at times and chill at times. this exceeded expectations
hell yea thats what im talking about
the screaming at the end of beautiful ones is awesome. man this was lack luster. top 4 album by apple. SMD
had a couple notable moments (juxtapozed with U) but overall pretty corny and dreadful
great tracks and great song writing. I don't see myself returning to it though.
Hell yeah, Black man is so great I feel like more people need to talk about it. Also, didn't know gangsters paradise was a sample.
Not a big world music fan but this was pretty fun. prob wont check out out again. Soweto and worlds famous were cool.
just whatever
nah
YOU DONT KNOW HOW LITTLE YA MATTER UNTIL UR ALL ALONE IN THE MIDDLE OF ARKANSAS WITH A LITTLE ROCK LEFT IN THAT GLASS DICK
meh
man i was ready to say it caught me on a good day and give it a three MAYBE EVEN A FOUR but as it kept going it got more and more tiresome. Serpents was the nail in the coffin. nostalgia was cool
whatever
cool
Chill, it seems like they reuse the same progressions a lot so if youve hear one youve heard most.
hell yea some classic punk. down to the basement is a slept on track. undeniably important album and band.
just alright
holy fuckin vibe
a bloated collection of singles
bro like every song ever is in this. very cool and interesting but not my cup of tea
not bad but im not a big conscious rap guy
not a fan of strange brew. sunshine of your love always good. the rest is just whatever. SWLABR was ok
