Wow. What a great start to this journey. Never realized that I was missing this from my life. Favorites: Push it along, I left my wallet in El Segundo, Bonita Applebum, Can I Kick It. Cool and unique beats. Lots of exotic sounds. Clean fun lyrics. Seriously love it.

Psychedelic super funky funk. The Funkiest album I've ever listened to. Some nice Jazz with the funk dialed up to max. Favorite song- Give up the funk
For all the love I have for The Beatles I'm surprised I never dove into the Stones. For a debut album it's pretty good. Plays like a fun blues cover album, which it is... Favorite songs: Now I've got a witness, I'm a King Bee, Carol, Tell Me.
So this was exactly what I was hoping would happen on this journey! What an amazing band and album that I would have never discovered if not for this. Like an Icelandic Radiohead, loved it!
When Blue Suede Shoes came on I got excited, just to be quickly disappointed by the rest of the album. Blue Moon was another song I didn't mind but overall it all just fell flat to me. That being said when you keep in mind how damn young Elvis was when he recorded this and how polished he sounds you can't hate the album. Plus, we all start somewhere. You can see why he became so popular with that unique voice of his.
After listening to Christmas music for hours the night before I was all out of Christmas spirit. That being said it's still a great Christmas album with the once a year replay value.
Well I didn't expect much out of this and I guess was a bit surprised. Not really my cup of tea but I could see why others like it.
Very unique and beautiful music. Never heard of her until today and glad I did. Not something I would have seeked out on my own which makes this journey so fun. Her voice is nice and the music is quite whimsical. Not an album I would revisit since its not my style but I see the appeal here.
Wow. This is Rock! I had no idea Deep Purple went so hard! Super impressed with this album. I know people are knocking it for being a live album on this list but I personally think it was fun. Listened to it at night with my eyes closed felt like I went back in time. Favorite songs: Highway Star, Smoke on the Water.
It's like hitting the lottery seeing this album pop up! From hard rock to folk this album hitting it all! Perfection. Favorite songs: Immigrant Song, Since I've Been Loving You, Gallows Pole, That's The Way, Bron Y-Aur Stomp.
I was actually quite excited to see Dolly Parton. Not super familiar with her or Country in general it was cool to finally explore that. Dolly is an incredible singer/songwriter and I definitely see the appeal here. Favorite songs: Coat of Many Colors, Early Morning Breeze
Another lottery strike! What a way to end the year with this album!! True experience and definitely enjoyed best from start to finish. A rock opera for the ages, there a reasons this album is still talked about today. Favorite songs: Another Brick in the Wall Pt2, Hey You, Is Anybody Out There, Comfortably Numb
Hmm I've always heard about Beck and his musical talents. To be honest, it is not a bad album by any means and there is no doubt that he is talented. Not an album I probably would listen to over and over but I did enjoy it nonetheless. Deep and poetic.
Some great jams in this one. A little outdated at this point music wise but a beautiful voice and his impact on music is undeniable.
Heard of the band before and the music is familiar. Didn't expect much from the album and was pleasantly surprised really enjoyed it. Favortite songs: Crown of Love, Wake Up
Love the variety on this list so far. Some old school hip-hop I'm here for it. Not my favorite album but still appreciated. Favorite songs: Bring The Pain, All I Need
As a massive Beatles fan it's surprising I haven't ventured into exploring Paul's solo career too much. Loved this album it was fun and proved that Paul was a talented songwriter on his own. Thanks 1001 Album Generator! Favorite songs: Band On The Run, Jet, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five
Wasn't sure how I would feel about an hour of Beastie Boys but I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of the album. That being said by the end of it I was ready for something else. Favorite songs: Shake Your Rump, Hey Ladies, Egg Man
Really enjoyed this Sinatra album, definitely one of those I can easily see myself revisiting. Also, one that I would love to throw on the record player with company over. Favorite songs: "You Make Me Feel So Young" "I've Got You Under My Skin" "Anything Goes"
I don't understand the hate of this album. If I'm just judging this album on how much I enjoyed listening to it (which is my usual guage) then it was great! Favorite songs: Porcelain, South Side, Natural Blues
Great as background music and something I can revisit if I need to focus. Little too repetitive and slow for any other enjoyment.
Great fun rap album. Love these unique takes on a genre.
Really enjoyed the album. Not knowing much about the police I was surprised at how Raggae this album was. Favorite song: Message in a Bottle
Such an iconic album filled with hit after hit. Love him or hate him the man was talented. Favorite songs: Bad, The Way You Make Me Feel, Dirty Diana, Smooth Criminal
Day 28 I was beginning to think I would not give any album 1 star, I was wrong. Very, very wrong. This was honestly painful to get through. No clue why this was on the list. I listened to it without checking ratings first and was very relieved to realize I didn't miss anything.
As a fellow Chicago boy that was 18 when this album came out, it just spoke to me. Truly enjoyed it and brought me back to my young adult years driving around the city. Favorite songs: Kick Push, He Say She Say, Daydreamin
Every song sounded the same. It wasn't exactly bad but not something I'd ever listen to again.
I was pumped to see this as my album of the day. The whole listen was like a nostalgic trip.
Had low expectations for this one assuming wrongly that she was a one hit wonder. I was very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely return to this one.
I recognized the name R.E.M but was oblivious to their music. Turns out I know their music very well just never knew it was them. Really enjoyed this album and saved some of the songs to my playlists.
Never heard of Massive Attack and was shocked at how much I loved this album. My style of music, trance like melodies with soul vocals and hip hop mixed in.
