New Forms
Roni SizeNot my vibe but has some cool moments
Not my vibe but has some cool moments
Run to the Hills is an OG banger, not a huge fan of the vocals but musically fun, clear lines from this to modern metal
Really a 4.5 but great album
Solid 4/4.5, We Got the Beat is overshadowed by quite a bit here
Underrated gem, another solid 4.5
Percussive bangers
Album definitely grows on you, a solid 4
Not overly exciting to me, mid 3-3.5. Some nice moments but nothing that catches me
Pusherman goated. Super fun record. Solid 4/4.5
Rough listen, not my vibe. 1.5
Classic beach boys sound. Rip Brian Wilson (just yesterday). 4/5
Good vibes, love when the last track feels like the last track
Solid 4.5, classic album, wish it went out a little bit more absolutely though
Ahead of its time
What a frustrating album, solid highs, terrible lows, and bunches in between. High 2/low low 3
Fun folk, high 3
The title track is simply 3 minutes too short. Real nice moments here, mid-high 4
Phenomenal compositionally no notes
Great vocals, low 4
Saved by interesting phrasing and musical tendencies, high 3
Nothing really tickles me here, drums are mostly uninspired, some solid riffs but very middling 3
High 3, this is what H&M store music wants to be
I respect the choices but I don't like them all, solid 4
Samples go crazy
Angsty emo, high 3
The radio hits are not the best songs on this album, low-mid 4
High 3/low 4, solid vibes
High 3, not a huge country fan but this is nice
Low 4, super solid album
This started as a mid 3 and kept growing, gets better the further into the record you get. Mid to high 4 I think
High 3 I think? Very moody but I appreciate the use of basoon
Mid-low 3, some fine enough moments but mostly middling
Mid 3 I think? Not my vibe but some nice moments
I appreciate the energy but not my vibe, another mid 3
Big oof. Not the worst record I've heard so far out of the 1001 but 47 seconds into track 2 I was waiting for it to be over. The lowest of 2s
Low 4, some really nice instrumentals
High 3/low 4, a time travelling album
Mid to high 4, very easy listening and fun Latin grooves
Low 4, very solid
I think high 3? Maybe low 4. Regardless some cool stuff
High 3/low 4, some super clear influence from and to earlier groups and later groups
This was a weird one- some really nice/unexpected melodic moments but a lot of boring/uninspiring moments as well. High 2/low 3
High 3/low 4 I think, nice solid punk rock
Oops forgot this one since it's been a few days. Easy listening with some sneaky jams
One of my favorites, incredible album, no notes 5/5
Mid-high 3, band name is a bit of a misnomer but pretty consistent vibes
High 3/low 4 leaning 4, previously heard
Fun, high 3, not much else to say
Rip Ozzy, great album though, great drums, great mood 5/5
Not a huge bruce fan, this is fine but doesn't grab me. Solid 3
A+ harmonies, real strong start to the album
High 3/low 4, interesting you can hear a good bit of Tim's vocal mannerisms in Jeff. Fun grooves and music but not the biggest fan of Tim's voice/delivery
Not my bag, baby. High 2 I think, not bad but doesn't resonate with me
Low/mid 4, real clear influences, great drums and bass lines
Another low/mid 4, big fan of the orchestration, nice thematic material
Low 4, enjoyed everything until the last track and the cable tv guitar riff
Low/mid 3, instrumentally I don't mind it, vocals are not my favorite, I just don't find anything particularly compelling
