In The Court Of The Crimson King
King CrimsonI like prog rock and I cannot lie! This dipped to a 2 "Just musicians noodling around with no real plans" to a 4 "transported to a fantasy world" No real suprise I ended up in the middle (again)

Not an album/band I have listened to but enjoyed my listen
Didn't really know what to expect from Thin Lizzy. But knew some of the songs. All in all enjoyed the album - I could here so many bands from the 80s in it though.
I remember my best friend from when I was 10 having this album—I don't remember anything but the cover, though. Enjoying the album, but none of the tracks really jumped out and grabbed me
Not heard the Pixies before. Enjoyed the album. I don't think I can rate it above four as for me (and based on two listens only) it doesn't come together as an experience it's more a collection of songs.
Another solid - it's fine/good this is an album I've played a few times.

This was a suprise - I wasn't expecting an almost ambient album. Again I started with not really enjoying this but came around by the end of the album.
Not heard of Manu Chao before. I enjoyed it a lot.
Great stuff - I'd have like lyrics as well but loved listening to something new.
I knew the famous songs and enjoyed the vibe of the album - but it didn't grab me
I like but don't love blues. Enjoyed my listen and will keep the album in mind when I'm in the mood for more.
Even as a prog rock fan this was a step to far for me. I wonder if it would score more if I listened a few times? Maybe.
I've never really listened to Black Sabbath before - but if their music is like this then I have been missing out.
It's fine - but an album of covers played on bongos just made me want to here some of the originals
Really enjoyed it - I will have to listen to more beach boys
Another album from the sixties that I've enjoyed. In the end most of the songs sounded the same.
Actually enjoyed this more than I expected. I still don't really get the screaming
Despite my love of Gunfighter ballads this wasn't for me. (Maybe if they shot a few more people)
Need to listen more to this
I tried but it's just not for me
It's a great album - I wondered if it would score a five. But in the end a it was a strong four.
I've heard of MC5 but never listened to an album. This is an album that should make anyone think "I can play music".
Ab album that was pretty much exactly what I expected and was fine/good
Again enjoyed it more than expected. Once again I was surprised that the album was as old as it was.
Another good album. One that might grow on me with more listens or if I discovered more about the songs/stories
Really enjoyed this album so much so that I wonder how much more before I score something five.
Great album - like soany of these the famous songs are Fantastic and the others are fine
Another good Album. More blues than I would have expected
Interesting but not for me
Not really for me - just kind of washed over me
An old favourite - surprised myself by deciding it's only a four.
Just didn't engage me
Pretty much what I expected and it was fine. I think I'd need something a bit catchier to score it three
Pretty much what I expected and fine I guess. I think I'd like my punk a little less self aware and little more gleeful
Another "pretty much what I expected and I enjoyed it"
Wow are all Coldplay albums this melancholy? Didn't hate it but kind of needed a hug after listening!
I. Fully acknowledge that one of the reasons I mark this so high is I've been listening to it since I was 20. But as a concept album and a piece of story telling I think I this is such a great album
Not really my thing - but enjoyed it
Great album - didn't quite make the grade for a 5 but so very close
Just didn't grab me
Enjoyed it
I'd forgotten how much I loved this album. It was a four but "The Queen and the Soldier" pushes it to a five!
Enjoyed this much more than I expected - in a playing in the background kind of way 😀
Didn't grab me but didn't hate it
The prog fan in me laments that this is a collection of songs without a through line (I think) but some of these are stone cold classics
Kind of catchy but not for me I think
Fine. Just didn't hold my attention
Need to listen to this again - think it could well grow on me.
Grew on me as I lisy
Very Iggy Pop.
Sounded like the Smashing Pumpkins or Coldplay to me - Bittersweet Symphony raised it from a 2
Just not for me - I managed to get through the first disk - but I didn't enjoy it
Made me think of both Bowie and Peter Gabriel
The second half of the album grabbed me more than the first - enjoyed it overall
Enjoyed this a lot more than I expected too. At points it made me think of Nick Cave. I think this could easily rise to a four with more listens
Enjoyed the album - I alwaythi I I should like Alanis Morissette more than I do. Not quite sure why I don't
An album I listened to a lot in the past. It might have been a five back in the day but still a solid four for me.
Reggae always turns into background music for me. But that said I enjoyed the Album
Yup
Need to listen to this again but enjoyed it more than I expected too
I'm torn - musically I really like this - but each time I start to enjoy it - some edgelord lyrics jump out at me and I wonder if he really needed to go there?
Thought I was going to love this - didn't
Enjoyed this wyt more than I expected - so much so that I plan to listen to it again today. Can't quite give it a four but it's close
Suprised myself but how much I enjoyed this
Used to love this album - Bono and U2 have become an irritating cliche now. But it turns out I still love this album
Fantastic album - might even be a five after a few more listens. The Train in the Distance is a great song
It was fine
Grew on me as I listened
Really enjoyed the album
There are albums I have 3 points to that I enjoyed more than this one. Not really sure what I thought of it.
I ended up listening to this along with Life of a Showgirl.(A track from one then a track from the other) Oddly enough this increased my enjoyment of both and pushed Elvis upto a four.
I think I maybe on a nother day I'd have enjoyed this more. But for today it was background music at best
I love Cowboy ballads. And this is one of my favourite albums
It just didn't grab me this time - I suspect it would only get better with further listen
In the end can't bring myself to score Dolly a 2 but I was tempted. Just didn't click with me
Another gently atmospheric album - that I'm pretty sure would score higher after more listens.
Probably the newest Neil Young album I know well. I actually enjoyed it more than I expected
Simply Red are just not for me
Really enjoyed this and the link to Crazy Horse was a surprise
Really enjoyed this.
Pretty much what I expected. Enjoyed it but hasn't made me want to explore more Cream.
As seems to be quite common - I enjoyed the album but it hasn't made me want to track down more of their stuff.
I can see why this is so highly rated.
