I think I got placed on hold for 38 minutes

WTF? This list should be called “1001 albums you should listen to if you were born in England in the 1970s”.

This list of 1001 essential albums sure does have a ton of Brit pop bands that are only average at best. I remember when these guys came out and people were losing their minds and comparing Oasis to the Beatles. As it turns out, they were just another average Brit-pop that no one outside of Britain really gave a damn about.

I picked up on a lot of influence from Dr Dre. I like the beats but not a fan of the lyrics.

I don't know shit about Jazz but I enjoyed it.

A couple of catchy tunes. Overall not my style.

The whole album sounds like waiting room music.

Folksy. Nothing very original or memorable .

God damn Prince was a horny motherfucker! Couple of good jams that everyone knows. The rest was meandering synth pop.

I thought I would like this more since she was great with velvet underground but it was mediocre.

The perfect album for the guy whose super hot girlfriend just broke up with him after realizing he is a pathetic, whiny, insecure, bitch and he wants to spend the rest of his life being a total fucking bummer everywhere he goes. I think this album was the birth of Emo.

I’m not sure this qualifies as music. At one point I’m pretty sure I heard him singing about being in love with his sister. Whole album was total garbage.

A few good beats.

We’re going to be friends is one of my all time Jack White favorites.

Not too bad. No song stands out in particular.

Nebulae swirled in and out of existence. Ethereal wisps danced around one another, beautifully chaotic yet in perfect order. Ever expanding, the swirls thinned and stretched until there was only emptiness again.

The unmistakable sound forced reality back into sharp focus as a brief panic spiked his adrenaline. Crushing the forgotten menthol languishing in his fingers, he cursed himself for his laziness.

The sound was unmistakable. A subconscious tic. A soft, sharp inhalation followed by a gentle clearing of her throat. This only ever preceded an expression of doubt and fear.

56 minutes. Fuck you.
