When I first listened to this I was really impressed with the musical depth by the band. The bass playing reminded me of Jaco and after doing some research it turns out it was him! I give this album a higher score than I probably would all do to the great musicians backing these mid vocals

One thing I really enjoy about this 1001 album experience is the ritual. The ritual of getting an album, sometimes something completely new to me. I downloaded it and do some research and then sit down and listen front to back. This album slightly tainted that. Doing some research gave me the ick. The listening was not enjoyable. The vocals are rapey even without knowing what they meant. Knowing what they meant just made it that much more gross. I am giving this a 2 because the music is nice and well performed.

Well going through this list when an album from the 50's shows up I don't get to excited. Sonicly and production wise they are always a little flat Elvis bucks that trend. The recordings seem more alive than others of the period. Now when Elvis shows up on this list I will be more excited. Excellent Listening experience with this album.
