Popular Reviews

Smokers Delight by Nightmares On Wax

Not sure why there is so many extremely low scores and reviews for this album. It's really enjoyable, great beats and extremely creative. That being said it did drag on after a while. The album feels way too long, several songs were super drawn out, and I'm unsure how it qualifies as an album you should hear before you die. It's good, but I'm failing to understand how it is considered to be THAT good. Because it's really not.

Run-D.M.C. by Run-D.M.C.

Unk rap, but is a vibe. They set the foundation for the future. Probably will not revisit, but I acknowledge what this album is.

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem

This album would be so cool if I was 12. Listening to this at the grand age of 31 makes me realize how cringe it is.

It was alright. I feel like I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have. Fun and heavy I guess.

25 by Adele
Jan 14 2026

It was alright. Lots of radio hits. Many of the ballads began to sound the exact same. Defiantly prefer her earlier work.

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Jan 15 2026

Getting really tired of all these British rock and contemporary albums on this list. That being said it was one of the better British albums on this list.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Jan 17 2026

It was alright.

It was fun.

Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

Surprisingly really enjoyed it, especially the instrumentation.

american dream by LCD Soundsystem

Moments of genius followed by many more moments of meh. Really wish I could have liked this more. Mid.

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Jan 27 2026

Some amazing guitar work and harmonization, everything else is sorta mid.

I See You by The xx
Jan 28 2026

Not sure why this album is on the list. Below mid, especially compared to the other XX albums.

One World by John Martyn
Jan 29 2026

Another album I tired really hard to enjoy, but could not. This album actually sucked.

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Jan 30 2026

Yeah it bangs. One star taken away because Tom Morello can belt out an insane riff but has no clue what the hell a gutar solo is supposed to sound like

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
Feb 01 2026

What can be said that hasn't been said before? Amazing album.

Henry's Dream by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

Less depressing than the last Nick Cave album I got. But still just as mid.

Feb 03 2026

Yeah it bangs.

Roxy Music by Roxy Music
Feb 04 2026

I enjoyed it more than I expected.

Smokers Delight by Nightmares On Wax
Feb 05 2026

Not sure why there is so many extremely low scores and reviews for this album. It's really enjoyable, great beats and extremely creative. That being said it did drag on after a while. It's good, but I'm failing to understand how it is considered to be THAT good. Because it's really not.

Crocodiles by Echo And The Bunnymen
Feb 06 2026

Another mid UK rock/alt album. I'm sure it was progressive and influential for its time, but it was a miss for me.

So by Peter Gabriel
Feb 07 2026

It was pretty meh. Feel like I have poor taste because I didn't enjoy it, but I really didn't.

Tonight's The Night by Neil Young
Feb 08 2026

Maybe it's me, but this is yet another album I don't understand why is on this list.

Third/Sister Lovers by Big Star
Feb 09 2026

Bro never have I rated this many albums so low in a row. Did not enjoy this at all. I might be the problem.

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Feb 10 2026

I hate to say it but I didn't enjoy it at all. Whole album just sucked. It may be my poor taste but I really wanted it to end the whole time. Harmonica carried.

Felt Mountain by Goldfrapp
Feb 11 2026

I mean it's alright. Some moments were ethereal, many others were mid. Pretty whatever overall. Goldbrapp

Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Feb 12 2026

Really enjoyed it. Beautiful post rock that made me feel like I was either lost at sea but at peace with that, walking through Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, or simply drifting though space. Great listen.

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Feb 13 2026

Enjoyed it more than I thought i would. Some great classic/blusey rock.

Lady Soul by Aretha Franklin
Feb 14 2026

Queen. Goddess. One of the greatest albums of all time, as well as in soul/R&B. My Queen killed it with this one. I smiled like crazy when I saw this album pop up for today. Wish every day had an album of this caliber.

Next by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band
Feb 15 2026

I feel bad for every individual that was on an instrument for this album. They put their heart and soul into their music, just for Alex to start vocalizing about his penis and balls. Basically the instrumentation is great, but every song being an innuendo or just strait up (no pun intended) about his pentus kinda killed the vibe. Don't get me wrong I think it's funny, and I'd really enjoy it as a meme. But it's deadass on this list, and that's what is truly confusing.

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Feb 17 2026

I mean it's alright. I remember this album hitting harder when I was a kid. Maybe my tastes have changed, or maybe the album is just dated. The beats still bang, but the lyrics and lyrical performance feels lacking somehow.

Deep Purple In Rock by Deep Purple
Feb 18 2026

Awesome album. For some reason I couldn't get the ATHF characters Master Shake and Carl out of my head while listening, this just seems like an album they would both love. But yeah this album fucks.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Feb 19 2026

Amazing voice, just not for me.

Tical by Method Man
Feb 20 2026

Unk rap. Really though it was extremely mid. Not a huge fan of MM's voice, flow or delivery overall. There's much better solo projects from Wu-Tang members.

At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Feb 21 2026

Them kats were cookn. Some great blues. Essential? Nah. But still really good music

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Feb 22 2026

Great music for walking the halls of my Gothic mansion

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Feb 24 2026

White folks really did something with this one

Cross by Justice
Feb 25 2026

A ton of fun. Really, this album bangs.

Happy Sad by Tim Buckley
Feb 26 2026

Without a doubt one of the albums of all time.

All Directions by The Temptations
Feb 27 2026

Not the best Temptations album, but still good.

Elvis Is Back by Elvis Presley
Mar 01 2026

Enjoyed it more than I expected. Even so, got pretty repetitive.

Supa Dupa Fly by Missy Elliott
Mar 02 2026

I'm sorry auntie, but this album has a lot of misses. Some great beats and tracks, but mostly filler/meh tracks. Absolutely fucks as a debut album though. Wish it held up better with time.

Moon Safari by Air
Mar 03 2026

Sounds like what whipped chocolate icing tastes like. Gets a little repetitive though.

New York Dolls by New York Dolls
Mar 04 2026

Certainty one of the albums of all time.

Coles Corner by Richard Hawley
Mar 06 2026

It's not bad, in fact it's objectively really good, but it still manages to be so...meh

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Mar 07 2026

Classic, but damn is it bloated

Smash by The Offspring
Mar 08 2026

I miss when life sounded like this album. Life used to be so simple, even with the angst, life was so full of optimism and excitement for the future. Life is still cool and all now but this album reminded me how much I took my "younger youth" for granted.

Broken English by Marianne Faithfull
Mar 09 2026

Unequivocally one of the albums of all time.

Who's Next by The Who
Mar 10 2026

It's alrifht. The hits are the songs worth listening to.

Roots by Sepultura
Mar 11 2026

There are definitely better Sepultra albums

Calenture by The Triffids
Mar 12 2026

Whole album sounded like bad karaoke

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Mar 14 2026

It was alright. Forgettable.

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Mar 18 2026

Eh. I'd rather listen to the originals vs the covers on this album. Willie is a good artist, but his covers of these songs felt...souless. it was so bland, WHERE IS THE SAUCE

Mar 19 2026

It was interesting. Honestly schizo man and the title track are the most worthwhile ones. The rest sound like...idk sound checks or something.

Mar 20 2026

I've nevwr been a huge fan of Megadeath, but listening to an album by them in it's entirety has made me realize perhaps I was wrong

Kala by M.I.A.
Mar 23 2026

This album has such insane amounts of energy, but I can't get into it. I'm not sure why. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Ys by Joanna Newsom
Mar 26 2026

I actually really enjoyed it. Weird, but pretty. Sounds like what Ents listen to

My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello
Mar 28 2026

It was fun. Sounded modern somehow.

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Mar 29 2026

Total oldhead unk jams. Not my favorite, but I acknowledge the fact that it's a classic.

Take Me Apart by Kelela
Mar 30 2026

Idk why everyone is dogging this album, it bangs. This is the alternative R&B sound I've hunted for and craved since I first heard Triligy by The Weeknd. Beautiful voice, great beats and amazing production. Also this album felt like a breath of fresh air after having like a dozen UK, ancient rock and folk albums. Nothing wrong with those genres, but damn, this was such a refreshing change.

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Mar 31 2026

Wasn't for me. It was fine, some of the more blues inspired parts were great. The harmaization was impressive. But overall I wouldn't revisit this album.

Melodrama by Lorde
Apr 01 2026

I enjoyed it. A ton of hype around this album, and it's good and all, but didn't quite live up to everything I've heard.

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Apr 02 2026

Yeah man it was just another old folk/rock album. It was alright. Again, I didn't hate it, I recognize the talent and everything else. I appreciate it for what it is. And of course California Dreaming is a certified hood classic. But dude idk if it's just the sheer number of these kinds of albums on this list or what but I don't want to hear this album ever again, or any one like it. I'm having some Folk burnout I guess.

Suzanne Vega by Suzanne Vega
Apr 03 2026

Yeah this was an album. It was music.

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Apr 04 2026

I enjoyed it. Probably won't revisit, but enjoyed the blusey portions.

Apr 05 2026

"It's one o clock, and time for lunch" Talk your shit king. Firth of Firth had me have an out of body experience. The goose cameo in The Battle of the Epping Forest was hype. I enjoyed the album.

Close To You by Carpenters
Apr 06 2026

Another one. Another album I acknowledge the beauty and talent of, but really do not want to listen to, and probably won't listen to again. Sorry

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Apr 07 2026

Is the album bloated? Very. Is it British? Unequivocally. Does it clear every Beatles album on this list? ABSOLUTELY

Apr 08 2026

Not sure how this made the list. Also not sure how a band can sound like they have so much energy and personality but be so borning and bland.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Apr 09 2026

Yeah it was ok.

Histoire De Melody Nelson by Serge Gainsbourg
Apr 10 2026

Fr*ench, and this album is regarding falling in love with a 14 or 16 y/o girl as a grown ass man. Nah bruh

Court And Spark by Joni Mitchell
Apr 11 2026

Once again, I: Recognize the talent Respect the talent Think the music is beautiful Have nothing against the artist or album But I just can't get into this artist or her album.

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Apr 12 2026

Still remember when this album dropped. Just as amazing to this day. Alt R&B at its finest.

Clube Da Esquina by Milton Nascimento
Apr 15 2026

Ran a little long, but I enjoyed it.

Fear and Whiskey by Mekons
Apr 16 2026

I...liked it? Totally schizo album but it was good.

Tommy by The Who
Apr 17 2026

Yeah idk I guess it was alright. Whatever. I found out that I owe the IRS 9k in taxes so really the last thing I wanted to hear along with that is a The Who album.

Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Apr 18 2026

Meh. It was fine. Ran a little too long, really stagnated for me.

Shadowland by k.d. lang
Apr 20 2026

Really enjoyed most of this album. Great voice, and a reminder that country isn't always the "big truck, cold beer, blonde girl, we country" shtick. So yeah lesbian country goes hard as fuck.

Apr 22 2026

Listened to during my 5 AM commute to work. Damn near fell asleep but hey the music is good.

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
Apr 23 2026

This album was not written for me, but I enjoy it anyway. Absolutely bangs.

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Apr 24 2026

Bittersweet symphony is a classic no doubt. The rest of the album is completely forgettable.

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
Apr 25 2026

Got some absolute classics. Other songs are alright. It's a good album. The songs outside of the hits are pretty forgettable, but the hits are so good it carries.

Back to Mystery City by Hanoi Rocks
Apr 26 2026

Even as I was listening to it I was forgetting about it. Pretty lame.

Run-D.M.C. by Run-D.M.C.
Apr 30 2026

Unk rap, but is a vibe. They set the foundation for the future. Probably will not revisit, but I acknowledge what this album is.

The Rising by Bruce Springsteen
May 01 2026

This whole album just feels unauthentic, super performative and fake deep. Brian Griffin probably has this album saved and on vinyl. Yeah it sucks. Two stars for the occasional sax.

Green by R.E.M.
May 02 2026

I am learning that I really just do not like R.E.M.

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
May 03 2026

It was good, has some absolutely classic songs. Some great guitar work as well as some sax.

Graceland by Paul Simon
May 04 2026

The music was great, especially the Afrobeat and Zydeco tracks. I just kinda hate his voice. If he'd shut up it would have been a better album.

Eliminator by ZZ Top
May 05 2026

The gutar work is great, but the lyrics are kinda cringe and definitely Boomer teir. Overall not something I'd choose to listen to again. Extra star for the gutar work as mentioned before.

It's A Shame About Ray by The Lemonheads
May 06 2026

Sounds like the background music for a early 2000 sitcom. Pretty mid overall.

Sunday At The Village Vanguard by Bill Evans Trio
May 07 2026

My soul left my body and was transported to Barnes & Nobles while listening. Great album.

Honky Tonk Heroes by Waylon Jennings
May 08 2026

Boomer (but correct) take: This is what country sounds like, not the bullshit that passes nowadays.

Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
May 09 2026

Okay, that's enough NC albums, thanks. That being said, this was definitely my favorite out of all the ones this list has on it. Wish I heard this during fall/winter, I know this shit would have had some heavy vibes with some cool weather (it's May rn). Will have to revisit in October or so.

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
May 10 2026

Insane album. Not a single thing yo say that hasn't already been said, ot deserves all the praise. 5/5, no notes

So Much For The City by The Thrills
May 11 2026

I don't know what it is, but I lothed every second of this album

The Band by The Band
May 12 2026

It was alright. King Harvest was a jam for sure, the rest was just meh

The Pleasure Principle by Gary Numan
May 14 2026

I bet this shit was awesome and super unique back in the day. Today it was just ok.

Talking Timbuktu by Ali Farka Touré
May 15 2026

Played it in my office several times, really enjoyed it. Great album, awesome gutar work.

Parachutes by Coldplay
May 16 2026

First two reviews of this album were 1s, don't understand why. It's a great, chill vibe. Amazing debut album. Have enjoyed this one since childhood.

Floodland by Sisters Of Mercy
May 17 2026

A little too broody for me to listen to on the regular, but I did really enjoy it.

Rapture by Anita Baker
May 18 2026

Some nice, laid back, luxurious R&B. Just like I like. Folks giving it mid reviews because it isn't "revolutionary" or whatever, who cares. It's great. Not every album on this list isn't going to start a movement. It's still great music.

Violator by Depeche Mode
May 19 2026

It was good. All I got. Sorry, tried

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
May 20 2026

Got me feeling like Mr Krabs listening to this. Boop bop? BEEP BOOP?

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
May 21 2026

Great album. Really I can't believe I've passed this album up for so long. Had no idea it went this hard.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
May 23 2026

It was phenomenal. Had some low points, but overall I really, really enjoyed it

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
May 24 2026

Album came up while I was in New Orleans. Matched the vibe perfectly.

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
May 26 2026

This is some killer jazz. This is what I hear walking down Burbon Street. That French Quarter shit, playing right on top of some Boosie or Webbie (I know it's Brazilian Jazz, but still.) This is what my grandma has put on when we play dominos. This is what is playing when I walk into my service's yearly gala. The whole album is luxurious, fun, and relaxing.

On The Beach by Neil Young
May 27 2026

Really wanted to like this more. Just didn't. Sorry.

Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens
May 30 2026

Jun 03 2026

I enjoyed it. Great gutar and percussion

Junkyard by The Birthday Party
Jun 05 2026

According to several reviews folks claim this album is supposed to be borderline ulistenable and unenjoyable, that's the point. Alright...but it still fuggn sucks lmao

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
Jun 08 2026

CIA music goes kinda hard. I enjoyed it

Heroes by David Bowie
Jun 09 2026

Yeah it was alright

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Jun 10 2026

Created a whole new genre, I respect it, but it has definitely been surpassed

Everything Must Go by Manic Street Preachers
Jun 11 2026

As soon as this album was done I forgot all about it. Been a day now, still can't recall a single song off of it. Not that it was really bad, just forgettable.

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Jun 13 2026

Fun jam session. But not something I'd really return to. A whole extra star for "The Gumbo Variations" though. Absolute banger.

Some good ass music. Yeah.

Jun 18 2026

Meh. Not for me.

The Doors by The Doors
Jun 20 2026

Yeah it was fine.

The Clash by The Clash
Jun 21 2026

Some fun Brit'ish punk. Not bad, but probably not something I'd revisit.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Jun 23 2026

Some early 2000 bangers on here. Like it purely for nostalgic purposes.

Vincebus Eruptum by Blue Cheer
Jun 24 2026

Really wanted to like this one, and it has some moments with some crazy riffs, but overall it was foegettable.

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Jun 25 2026

GI by Germs
Jun 26 2026

The more punk I hear, the more I realize that I don't like it.

At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Jun 30 2026

Classic. A lot of charm and character in this live album, appreciate the fact Cash didn't give a fuck and talked and goofed around.

Low-Life by New Order
Jul 02 2026

Actually really enjoyed most of it. A couple of songs sounded like horrible karaoke, but most were pretty good

Scott 4 by Scott Walker
Jul 03 2026

That was awful

Exit Planet Dust by The Chemical Brothers
Jul 05 2026

Really enjoyed this one. They must have put Adderall or something in this album, I highly recommend listening to it while doing chores/work. I was just doing my normal morning chores and felt so locked in with this album blasting.

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Jul 07 2026

It was fine. It was alright.

Third by Soft Machine
Jul 08 2026

Pretty wacky, wild and goofy.

The Specials by The Specials
Jul 10 2026

Really enjoyed this one. Lots of fun

Jul 11 2026

The creativity and energy in this album is great and to be respected. I just couldn't get into it. I can see how this album dropped my an H bomb back when it was released, but sounds fairly crusty by today.

Out of Step by Minor Threat
Jul 12 2026

There are so many punk albums on this list, or maybe my generator is just pushing them all out to me at once so it seems like more. Either way, I think i enjoyed this one the most out of the one's I've heard so far.

Made In Japan by Deep Purple
Jul 13 2026

Great album to show they band's mastery over their instruments, but holy balls it's a long album. Also, even though yes, it is good, why is it on this list? I wouldn't say it's quite all that.

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Jul 14 2026

Yeah it's good and everything, but i had their "Made in Japan" live album just yesterday, so I already experienced two hours worth of them. Kinda over it

Jul 16 2026

Seems like a lot of people really like this band. They are fine to me, just don't see what is that special unfortunately

Back to Basics by Christina Aguilera
Jul 17 2026

It's a good pop album. It really isn't bad. It's just so long

Guero by Beck
Jul 18 2026

Can't believe I slept on this album for so long. Wacky and fun. Full of bangers.

Swordfishtrombones by Tom Waits
Jul 19 2026

Got me listening to this bs and calling it essential. I don't understand this list sometimes

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Jul 20 2026

Chaotic, but enjoyable.

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem
Jul 22 2026

This album would be so cool if I was 12. Listening to this at the grand age of 31 makes me realize how cringe it is.

Too Rye Ay by Dexys Midnight Runners
Jul 23 2026

It was fun

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Jul 25 2026

It's good don't get me wrong, but i was kinda tired of it about four songs in.

Lady In Satin by Billie Holiday
Jul 26 2026

Another album that showcases the artist's and bands amazing talents. But it just wasn't for me. Really, it's great, but it's something I can appreciate once, and that's enough. Even once felt like a chore with an hour runtime

Hejira by Joni Mitchell
Jul 27 2026

I can see how some people have a connection to this album. But i do not unfortunately.

The When the Levee Breaks sample to start the album is nuts. Pretty good

Bleh. Feels too long, and like once you've heard one song you've heard them all. Even during my classic rock phase as a young lad I couldn't get into Def Leppard, and I still can't today.

It was fine. This album has been glazed to hell and back just like every other Beatles album, but I just can't really get into it.

It was alright. Some insane breakdowns and great bass performances, bur overall too edgy to be really enjoyable.

Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan hops in the studio and just starts saying shit. No idea what these lyrics are. Some if it sounds kinda good though.

Vulnicura by Björk
