The Everly Brothers
5/5
The world needs more adorable music like this.

Simon & Garfunkel

Did not expect to get something I've already known so soon as the thrid in the journey! Bridge over Troubled Water itself is one of my all-time favourites since 2007, although it was introduced to me in 2005 and was not a "love at the first sight". Words are touching, music is full of love and expanding energy. Learnt all the words by heart and was encouraged by it numerous times. For this song itself this album deserves a 5.
Love the duo all the time since teenage years. Other songs in this album were no strangers nor disappointments. Elegant, witty folk songs.

Arcade Fire
3/5
Not my thing. But the melody is alright. Just not into that sort of voice and that way of singing.
Deep Purple
4/5
Not a rock fan but have to say it's absolutely a dedicated performance. Melody and rhythm not bad, and it's surely been one of the influences to Japanese rock works
Simon & Garfunkel

Shuggie Otis
3/5
Voice is sort of cute. Like Rainy Day best, methinks. But I still prefer having each track with lyrics for modern music. And off-pitch yelling of high notes is very much a no. 3 star at most.
Radiohead
1/5
It's sort of a pity that I lack the ability to appreciate music of this sort. It's too "new"/"modern" to me.
Miles Davis
2/5
Not my thing at all but it's alright BGM for pubs. The jazz bit add a star for it.
The Cure
2/5
Meh. Pretty far from my taste range. Similar music style once heard in some off-line games I think.
Madness
3/5
Oh Our House sounds very familiar. Probably have heard it somewhere before. Not within my range but do not mind the music either. Sort of like the last track Madness lol
MGMT
4/5
I might have heard Youth somewhere at some point before.
The start of Eletric Feel has some oriental air there.
Sort of in favour of Pieces of What.
Daft Punk
3/5
I'm a bit suprised I'm fine with such strong rhythm. Probably heard Revolution 909 in some fashion show or some other scenarios. Prefer this type of music over those experimental indies even if this one does not have much lyrics either (rolls eyes). But still, requires me a lot of patience to reach Around the World track... ah, the quirky modern music world.
Wilco
2/5
Can never get lazy, hollow sound or voices. Probably add a star for the last track Reservation.
Sugar
3/5
That's some heavy rock... but the balance between vocal and the band is not in my favour...
Add a star for If I Can't Change Your Mind and for Man on the Moon
Jungle Brothers
3/5
I'm not born for hip-pop, I guess. But can see it being the pioneer of numerous great hit songs in recent years. Like some of the elements in it but sadly none hit me.
Janet Jackson
4/5
Finally something more comfortable after a series of weird stuff. Music-wise it's pretty catchy and rhythmic, full of energy. And of course... who can reject dancing beats!
Love Will Never Do -- a yay
Livin' in a World -- even better
Come Back to Me -- a big yay
Carole King
5/5
Another album falls in my comfort zone! All those wonderful songs, oh! It's Too Late! Will You Love Me Tomorrow! A Natural Woman!
Elvis Costello & The Attractions
3/5
Average voice, bits of interesting music, in all not annoying but not exciting either. One star off for the font used on the album cover -- How AWFUL! Absolutely a stain to the Piccaso work. Then another star off for the scream at the end of Man out of Time.
Alanis Morissette
3/5
Voice and music not bad, very talented. But people need to avoid screamming unskillfully in songs, meaninglessly.
The Doors
3/5
Radiohead
4/5
Oh I like High and Dry!! The second new song collected from this project so far (18 albums in) after The Boxer.
N.W.A.
2/5
I don't really mind hip-pop but the lyrics are way too offensive and hardcore for me lol Can't really finish even the first track.
Elvis Costello
4/5
Very pub music indeed. Sort of like it.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
3/5
One star off for the album cover. OK Brit rock but not quite distiguished.

4/5
Full of energy!

Got tired towards the end. Not very sure but There She Goes is certainly a spark in this album.
Pulp
3/5
Can't really get the greatness in it, but at least it's not bad.
Paul Weller
4/5
Not bad but not very exciting to me...
Country attracted my attention...
Moon on Your Pajama is good too

Eagles
4/5
What, my Eagles is the best! Can never resist Don Henley's voice... well, they do have some relatively boring songs and were still yong in this album but no harm done.
Eminem
3/5
Though never a fan of violent content or style of singing, this album, surprisingly, did not bother me too much, music-wise. At least it's not a noisy one. And Stan is surely a classic by now, not to mention it has endorsement from Sir Elton...
Emmylou Harris
3/5
Unexpectedly soothing...
Suede
3/5
Not sure...At least I finished listening.
Gil Scott-Heron
4/5

Mekons
2/5
Off pitch is not a good attribute, no.
Rufus Wainwright
3/5
As a pedant classical music fan am not quite fond of directly adding classical stuff in pop so not quite into the album. Rhythm is too slack also. Add a star for Old Whore's Diet...
William Orbit
2/5
Meh. Could have keeping the Indian style throughout the album why not.
The Stooges
2/5
Not my thing.
Various Artists
5/5
A Christmas album right on Christmas Day (missed it tho)! Would like this version of White Christmas if hadn't listened to Frank's/Bing's version. Neverless, no one can reject such an album of joy.
The Flaming Lips
3/5
Not sure what I have heard but there are some nice melodies with sparks of bagpipes.
Little Simz
3/5
Don't really care about the words, but in terms of music, this album raps with dignity and respect to art.
Nico
3/5
Appreciate the country and baroque bits (flute!) there but no drum, or say, no clear rhythm is a harm. Her voice has some premitive sense there, sounding like some old-aged chanting. Perhaps that's why the procucer made it towards the country folk spectrum.
Echo And The Bunnymen
3/5
Quite energetic to listen but did not get any outstanding bit
Kelela
3/5
Not too bad for me, tho no sparks.
Bob Dylan
4/5

3/5
Don't mind the rock.

3/5
Liked the tribal rhythm bits and the trumpet bits.

Coldplay
4/5
Oh this! Finally a good chance to listen to Coldplay. Sounds like pop music did not change much in the past 20 years, and personally does not really like the slack style in singing. Nevertheless, 22 years later, it has its iconic seat in the pop culture.
Foo Fighters
3/5
Björk
3/5

OH MY GOD! I've been waiting for an Ella album!
