Couple of good songs, but filled with nothing special besides. a bit folky, blues and country, outside the established singles overall a bit of nothing. Not terrible but I won't be listening again

Dark, guttural, dripping with Bowie's influence, and pretty amazing. Never really listened to Iggy Pop a lot so held no expectations and i have really enjoyed this.

How fitting to get this album on the day Ozzy has passed. Absolutely love this album. Starts strong and and keeps going right until the end.

An odd album filled with stripped back 80s beats, low level vocals on some songs but there are gems throughout as well. The Sensual World, Love and Anger, Deeper Understanding and the fantastic This Woman's Work. Kate Bush isn't an artist I have listened to a lot, and mostly seems to write brilliant songs that sound better when others cover them. I still enjoyed this and expect would appreciate it further with more listens.

I listened to the album multiple times, I can tell you absolutely nothing about it now. Really forgettable

This album is an interesting ride. from some really absolutely banger in the first half, to a concept album of a darker tone in the second. Weird and wonderful, full of interesting sounds, melodies, instruments and lyrical content.

I just don't understand the appeal, couple of cool motifs throughout but overall I just don't feel it. it brings nothing to the table

Funky, bold, odd

Overall a good album from the Beatles, I feel side one lands better than side 2, with some excellent songwriting. I do find "You Can't do That" problematic though

Adele has such a great voice and ability. Overall a good listen, not fully to my taste but I can appreciate the talent.

What a boring drone of nonsensical word mumbled together to form something akin but not quite like music.

This album definitely has grown on me over time. Not my first listen and probably won't be my last. Feels raw and unpolished, but in a good way. The wall of sound from the drums, stop start guitars, interesting bass lines, all a product of the time when garage rock was big. Not perfect by any means but very strong all round.

Pure Brilliance

I'm really not sure what I just listened to, great background music with a tonne going on if you peel back the layers.

Easy listening, but also easy to tune out. Has some really good moments and yet a lot is forgettable.

What a massive album, granted the original track listing only went to the song Motörhead, but this was great in many ways. Heavy metal at it's finest

An excellent debut album from an interesting time, I saw FF live in late 2004 following the release of this album and the songs left an impact on me.

I just don't like Radiohead, there are like two ok songs here, the rest is just droning and nonsense. Saying that, the two ok songs are still droning and nonsense they just are put together in a more coherent way

Slow, boring

This album is so varied in its composition and yet has a similar feel across it. Short but not, only 6 tracks but still 38 minutes long. Some really good vocal performances, bit funky, mellow and kind of all over the place. This really is a representation of a coked out very creative brain.

I have never really listened to jazz, and I probably don't have the right appreciation of how good this is/isn't. But I enjoyed my listens but it didn't create that sense of something special.

This is an interesting ride. This is my youth, definitely not the best Limp Bizkit album in my opinion but still has some pretty good songs on it. The soundscapes are really cool on some tracks and then other songs are just cringe. But that is LB in a nutshell. Is there talent there, undoubtedly. Is some of it bad. Yes. Is some of it so bad it's good. Also yes.

Sounds like it was written by a 15yo. He definitely has a good voice, just a pity he didnt explore its limits

The album the defined ambient music. Simple and excellent

Dookie by Green Day A (pop) punk album that for me feels a bit hit and miss, but boy to the hits actually hit hard. Basket Case, Welcome to Paradise, When I Come Around, are stand outs amongst many. Few songs that seem to blend but all tell a fairly similar story. Got me thinking if this was meant to be a concept album or just representative of the time and age. 4 stars.

My oh my. I have never really enjoyed Van Halen. But listening to this album and changed my mind. the musical talent is really good. The guitar, the synths, and the drums are so good. Downside is the lyrical content of a few of the songs. An era of the time, but like most albums on this journey we have to look at the context. A surprise 4 stars

Some seriously cool songs on this record. Particularly like space truckin' and of course smoke on the water.

This is a weird one for sure. Prince seem like one of those artists who is absolutely brilliant, yeah at the same time cover versions of his songs hit better than his. This album simply starts and quickly descends into sex maniac territory with songs that could easily be two thirds the length of what they are. The synths, the funk, the craftsmanship and charm all raise this up beyond the 1 or 2 it could have been.

Not my usual style, feels a bit stilted. Solid album with some definite high points, enjoyed To Zion, Dop Wop (That Thing) and Everything is Everything.

I am surprised at how much I did enjoy this.

There are parts of this I like, some of the beats, sound and vibe. The title track starts in a similar vein to an XX song. But when all the elements are put together and it turns out pretty average.

Unable to listen to the full album. What I could listen to was refreshing but not truly my vibe

Opener sounds like it should be from a film soundtrack. Add in some electro beats and you end up with this fusion of eastern and western that doesn't quite land

That is a hard opener. But one that shines a light on the racism inherent within the US with satire and wit. As we continue we get more political commentary done with that vevlet voice.

I'm getting hints of The Doors, a bit of The Velvet Underground and just a jumble of incoherence and a bit bland. 3 stars

Slow jazzy ballets to start. Good voice, a bit boring though. Definitely of the era

Struggling with this one. It is dark and bluesy but slightly hard to stay in the songs. The drone of the vocals, light touch of acoustic guitar paired with low quality recordings. 2

Interesting sound, switching between grunge and hard rock. Emotionally driven with an interesting delivery. The relentless guitar and drumming add to that heaviness of topic. Definitely of its time.

The Strokes, a band I haven't truly listened to besides a number of the singles. For a debut album this is tightly controlled but a little same samey. Really interesting sound overall, something new at the time but calling back to the past at the same time. This album is an enigma.

It's fine, surprisingly poppy for a indie punk. Some good tunes but almost instantly forgettable.

What is this? Distance and weird lyrics. Groovy bass lines and odd tuned whining guitar. I'm being reminded of the doors, the clash and nails on a chalkboard. Ok this kept getting worse.

I don't usually like radiohead, it just doesn't gel with me, but this is more of guitar driven alt-rock than their more experimental stuff.

Interesting flow, a bit downbeat at times, overall interesting album. last song feels really out of place.

what a slog

Two very different sides to this album. Almost feels like a concept album in parts. Much better on the second go through, the ambient side explains side A in a way you don't quite hear the first go round. 3.5
