Contrast the sound/look/crowd of this "4 car garage rock" (and the similar bands that followed) vs. nu metal or rap. So are The Strokes poseurs? 1970s CBGB cosplay? I'd say so, but they got some fun songs. Everyone has heard "Last Nite"...right? Also, lol at one of their songs being censored due to 9/11. 🦅🗽
