I appreciate the impact of this album, there's some themes and sentiments I usually don't expect to find in early 90's music. But to me there's just not enough of anything interesting in terms of sound and dynamics to come back for more. Favourite song: Lounge Act
Jeff Buckley is one of the best singers I've ever heard. The album is beautiful. Favorite song: Last Goodbye
Very bright and joyful album. The vocals and harmonies are beautiful and the instruments are varied. Favourite song: I Know There's an Answer
Usually don't like metal, but this one is pretty good. Favorite song: Phantom of the Opera
Music assembled from old forgotten records and made into something cool and unique. IMO one of the best examples of limitations being a creative force. Favorite song: Frontier Psychiatrist
What even is this suppose to be
Cannot take this seriously no matter how hard I try -- sounds juvenile.
The younger brother of Kid A doesn't reach high points of the previous album, with a bar being too high anyway. However, it works well as a slightly different take on a similar sound. Favorite song: I Might Be Wrong
Landmark dream pop record. As much as guitars contribute to beautiful textures found on this album, Fraser's voice is in itself feels like an instrument. Especially because I don't think she's saying real words here. Favorite song: Frou-Frou Foxes in Midsummer Fires
I like simplicity and minimalism of Ambient 1. It works well playing in the background. Still, I like Eno's later works in the series better -- feels like this album wants to build to something more, but never gets there. Favorite song: 2/2
