Kimono My House by Sparks

This was so new and fun! First listen took some time to warm up to it but the second time through I loved the whole thing. 4

69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields

Usually I'm very against long albums but I kinda liked it this time. Reminds me of TMBG

Music by Madonna

Why is she dressed like a cowboy bruh

I can't believe Eazy-E copied Geese getting killed for this cover and nobody's talking about it...smh 5

You're Living All Over Me by Dinosaur Jr.
Nov 21 2025

Was very noisy at the start but immediately after was good. Entertaining alt rock. Didn’t love the second to last track but all the others were enjoyable

Synchronicity by The Police
Nov 24 2025

It was okay. Every breath you take was good but everything else was either not memorable or just felt kinda off. Like they were forcing a vibe. But I'm not the biggest Police fan

Dookie by Green Day
Nov 25 2025

Really liked it. None of the songs were bad/skips, and the vibe of the whole album was very fun. Never listened to a Green Day album before so I should listen to more. Liked it very much.

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Nov 26 2025

The lyrics were very deep and meaningful, but since he was pretty old and sick, most of it is just him whisper-talking the words. The folk-y music was a good way to accompany it. The title track and Treaty were the highlights.

2112 by Rush
Nov 27 2025

Really good prog album. The title track is fantastic and tells a great story. Good to listen if you’re in a prog mood

Debut by Björk
Nov 28 2025
Transformer by Lou Reed
Dec 01 2025

Love Transformer. Perfect timing as this came up while I was listening to the No Dogs in Space series on the Velvet Underground. Always happy to listen to it.

Fun House by The Stooges
Dec 03 2025

It's good at times, but also SO BAD at times. I can understand why people like the proto-punk aspects, but the times where it's just noise and chaos makes absolutely no sense to me

4/5, never heard anything by the Kinks before and I really liked it. There were some songs that were fantastic and some that were only okay. In many of the songs it felt like the lead vocal was too quiet and I couldn't hear it in the mix? I like 60's British rock so I think I'm biased towards this style of music.

Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
Dec 08 2025

This was my 3rd time listening to this album. I think I finally get it! I really didn't mind it, and some of the lyrics were fun. Like a rolling stone is fire obviously.

Low by David Bowie
Dec 09 2025

Really like this album, it's just pleasant to listen to start to back. The ambient songs in the second half are relaxing and nice. Sound and Vision best song off it

Dec 10 2025

Honey, turn on Rebel Without a Pause, I haven't been irritable for a while....obviously the message is really cool but I struggled to jam with a lot of the music. YEAAAA BOIIIII

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Dec 11 2025

Fine I’ll say it, I like Paul Simon

I See You by The xx
Dec 12 2025

Boring music for people who love to complain

2112 by Rush
Dec 15 2025

Super good prog rock. I like the title song (entire A side)

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Dec 16 2025

Not a bad song on it. Written, performed, and recorded perfectly. Pop rock that tells a sad story

The White Room by The KLF
Dec 17 2025

Listened before: No I hated it at first but around the halfway point some of the tracks started to grow on me. Most of it is still generic house but there were moments that weren't ass. Band has an interesting story. Still a 2/5 because pretty much all house music makes my blood boil

Dec 18 2025

Listened Before: No Interesting. There were some good songs, but for the most part it felt like it was on the verge of being really good, but never got there. The singer was whiny. 3/5 Fav Song: Jesus, Etc. Least Fav Song: I Am Trying to Break Your Heart Listened to it twice. Jesus, Etc and Kamera are both good and everything else is skippable.

S.F. Sorrow by The Pretty Things
Dec 19 2025

Listened before: No This is right up my alley. I just love British psych rock. I could listen to this all day. My only criticism is that the mix is pretty thin and treble heavy. After reading some of the other reviews on here, I'm glad I listened in mono. Fav Song: Baron Saturday Least Fav Song: dunno liked them all Listened to it again in the afternoon. Holds up!! Went from a 4 to a 5. I’m a sucker for this stuff

Dec 20 2025

Listened Before: Yes Wow. Listened to this about a year ago and thought it was just fine, but this morning it's hitting just right. Excellent vibes all throughout. Fav Song: Ex-Factor, Doo Wop Least Fav Song: probably the skits

Imperial Bedroom by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Dec 21 2025

Heard before: No I thought it was good, serviceable, inoffensive rock music. His voice seemed way out of style for the Spector production techniques he used but he’s a new wave guy so gets a pass. Found all the songs pleasant. 4/5

Dec 22 2025

Listened before: No Giving it as many stars as chords these dudes can play. 3/5 Fav: Motor City is Burning

Abraxas by Santana
Dec 23 2025

Listened Before: No Insanely lit 5/5. Listened twice before lunch

GI by Germs
Dec 24 2025

#yup

Heroes by David Bowie
Dec 25 2025

The A side is probably a 5 but the ambient ones on this one were a bit spooky! Listened to this album twice and the B side never got better

Who's Next by The Who
Dec 28 2025

Listened before: yes Went to the good music factory and this was on

La Revancha Del Tango by Gotan Project
Dec 29 2025

Heard before: no I listened to this on a flight and it made it feel like a cutscene, it kinda rocked

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Dec 30 2025

Listened Before: No Good soul music. It's missing some kind of sauce that would make it a 5. But enjoyed each song equally (if you catch my drift)

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Dec 31 2025

Listened Before: No I REALLY want to like this but Anthony Keidis's voice bugs me, especially the rock-rapping. It's fine when he sings. Flea's basslines are badass. Fought for my life to get into it but just ehhhh

The Healer by John Lee Hooker
Jan 01 2026

Listened Before: No Sorta sounded the same throughout, but that's not necessarily bad. Bro was 73 cashing in on a career of being a blues legend... Was pleasant to listen to but sometimes I struggle with old dudes voices. 3/5

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Jan 03 2026

Listened Before: No White Album, Sandinista, Tusk...gotta love a long album of random music after a massive success. Found it mostly enjoyable, didn't think any songs were skips. I imagine it's pretty hard to follow up Rumors. 4/5

Music by Madonna
Jan 05 2026

Why is she dressed like a cowboy bruh

The Clash by The Clash
Jan 06 2026

Listened Before: yes Fun, up and down punk album. Not noisy and annoying like some others (looking at you Stooges and Germs). 3/5

Jan 07 2026

Listened Before: No I feel like this guy is dying to be Morrisey...I liked The Sun Always Shines on TV & Love Is Reason. 3/5

Germfree Adolescents by X-Ray Spex
Jan 08 2026

If I was to record a studio album I would simply tune my saxophone 2/5

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jan 10 2026

Honestly wasn't too excited to listen to this but my expectations immediately changed. 5/5

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Jan 12 2026

Listened before: YES My parents have a big CD collection and when I was a kid they would let me pick what to listen to so I picked this based on the cover. I hated every song except Chicago. When I was in high school I revisited it because I loved Chicago so much and fell in love. Far and away my favorite indie album, potentially because of nostalgia but also it’s soooo good. And he played every single instrument!! Come on Feel the Illinoise my beloved <3

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Jan 13 2026

Listened Before: No Wow! Never heard of this band before but I thought it was the perfect mix of experimentation and pop sensibility. A lot of songs on here I really liked. Songs like Fight Test make me want to make more music. 4/5

Bummed by Happy Mondays
Jan 14 2026

Happy Mondays when Rain on Fridays walks in :0

Pyromania by Def Leppard
Jan 15 2026

Dumb cheesy fun. This album caught me on a good day because I'm pretty sure I hate this. 4/5

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jan 16 2026

For there being only 10 reggae albums on this list it's crazy to get another one so fast. Lotta hits on this jawn 5/5

Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
Jan 17 2026

Feeling torn on this one. Does it remind me of Talking Heads? Kraftwerk? Or is it just millennial coworker music? Gunna give it a 3 because I'm not sure.

Melodrama by Lorde
Jan 18 2026

Teleported me to a Target fitting room 2/5

Garbage by Garbage
Jan 20 2026

Listened Before: No The really interesting and new production outweighs the grungier parts I don't like. Listened to this one twice because I wasn't sure how I felt after the first pass. Locking in a 3.

Zombie by Fela Kuti
Jan 21 2026

How fun was this!! Cool that it was also so political. I thought it was funny how the singing would start like 9 mins in.

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Jan 22 2026

Listened Before: No Never heard this one but I listened to When The Pawn. She is so badass. I love the art pop/jazz singing with the piano and mellotron. 4.5/5 rounded up!

Jan 23 2026

Listened Before: No My sister was obsessed with AM when it came out in 2013 (and I think it might still be her favorite album OAT). I went into this expecting to not really like it but I couldn't help but be charmed by these guys. The Adam Sandler cigarette album gets a 4/5 Playlist add: Mardy Bum

Blackstar by David Bowie
Jan 24 2026

Listened Before: Yes When David Bowie died my 9th grade English teacher cried in front of the class and made us all listen to this album. That being said, this is hard to judge because while it is a difficult and demanding listen, it comes with the weight of someone understanding that his time is about to come. Saw a review on here I wanted to share: I hope he's had a safe journey back to the far away galaxy he came from. Playlist add: I Can't Give Everything Away

Damaged by Black Flag
Jan 25 2026

Listened Before: No Not my vibe but on a second listen this morning I get how it's pretty fun. The lyrics to Six Pack and TV Party are hilarious! It's fun to picture my dad listening to this when he was like 19. Playlist add: Six Pack

The Cars by The Cars
Jan 26 2026

Listened Before: Yes I love The Cars Playlist Add: Good Times Roll

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
Jan 27 2026

Listened Before: No Wowwww I thought this was already good and then the HORNS came in which sent it into incredible territory. Get me some chips and I'm gunna SALSA 5/5 Playlist Add: Buscando Guyaba

Jan 29 2026

This was so new and fun! First listen took some time to warm up to it but the second time through I loved the whole thing. 4

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Jan 30 2026

Two Metallica albums in three days might seem like a lot for you, but this is normal for dark and twisted guys like me. 😎 3

Jan 31 2026

I can't believe Eazy-E copied Geese getting killed for this cover and nobody's talking about it...smh 5

Eternally Yours by The Saints

Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk
Feb 02 2026

This album made my tummy ache go away :)

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Feb 03 2026

1001 Album Generator power creep is real so I'm patching my scoring. This gets a 2 to reset my meta. No patch notes besides that this album is so boring I gained literally nothing on a second listen. 2

Femi Kuti by Femi Kuti
Feb 05 2026

What do you call a 73 minute album where every song is 10 min? 2 albums The length of the individual songs and the album as a whole took away from the charm. 3

Rock Bottom by Robert Wyatt
Feb 06 2026

I think we played this in middle school band!! Avant garde music doesn't do much for me...I wish it made me feel something but I just leave feeling unsatisfied. Minus one point for his funny accent. 1

Feb 08 2026

Elvis Costello has grown on me a lot over the last year

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Feb 12 2026

Not their best album but still pretty stinking awesome!

Beach Samba by Astrud Gilberto
Feb 13 2026

I'm willing to bet we all hated Parade and You Didn't Have To Be So Nice. Have to knock it to a 4 for those two tracks, since they create such a harsh vibe reset.
