4/5, never heard anything by the Kinks before and I really liked it. There were some songs that were fantastic and some that were only okay. In many of the songs it felt like the lead vocal was too quiet and I couldn't hear it in the mix? I like 60's British rock so I think I'm biased towards this style of music.

Listened before: No This is right up my alley. I just love British psych rock. I could listen to this all day. My only criticism is that the mix is pretty thin and treble heavy. After reading some of the other reviews on here, I'm glad I listened in mono. Fav Song: Baron Saturday Least Fav Song: dunno liked them all Listened to it again in the afternoon. Holds up!! Went from a 4 to a 5. I’m a sucker for this stuff

When I was in high school I revisited it because I loved Chicago so much and fell in love. Far and away my favorite indie album, potentially because of nostalgia but also it’s soooo good.
