Was very noisy at the start but immediately after was good. Entertaining alt rock. Didn’t love the second to last track but all the others were enjoyable
It was okay. Every breath you take was good but everything else was either not memorable or just felt kinda off. Like they were forcing a vibe. But I'm not the biggest Police fan
Really liked it. None of the songs were bad/skips, and the vibe of the whole album was very fun. Never listened to a Green Day album before so I should listen to more. Liked it very much.
The lyrics were very deep and meaningful, but since he was pretty old and sick, most of it is just him whisper-talking the words. The folk-y music was a good way to accompany it. The title track and Treaty were the highlights.
Really good prog album. The title track is fantastic and tells a great story. Good to listen if you’re in a prog mood
Love Transformer. Perfect timing as this came up while I was listening to the No Dogs in Space series on the Velvet Underground. Always happy to listen to it.
Probably the best Kanye album
It's good at times, but also SO BAD at times. I can understand why people like the proto-punk aspects, but the times where it's just noise and chaos makes absolutely no sense to me
This album is what I imagine sex feels like
4/5, never heard anything by the Kinks before and I really liked it. There were some songs that were fantastic and some that were only okay. In many of the songs it felt like the lead vocal was too quiet and I couldn't hear it in the mix? I like 60's British rock so I think I'm biased towards this style of music.
This was my 3rd time listening to this album. I think I finally get it! I really didn't mind it, and some of the lyrics were fun. Like a rolling stone is fire obviously.
Really like this album, it's just pleasant to listen to start to back. The ambient songs in the second half are relaxing and nice. Sound and Vision best song off it
Honey, turn on Rebel Without a Pause, I haven't been irritable for a while....obviously the message is really cool but I struggled to jam with a lot of the music. YEAAAA BOIIIII
Fine I’ll say it, I like Paul Simon
Boring music for people who love to complain
Super good prog rock. I like the title song (entire A side)
Not a bad song on it. Written, performed, and recorded perfectly. Pop rock that tells a sad story

I hated it at first but around the halfway point some of the tracks started to grow on me. Most of it is still generic house but there were moments that weren't ass. Band has an interesting story. Still a 2/5 because pretty much all house music makes my blood boil

Interesting. There were some good songs, but for the most part it felt like it was on the verge of being really good, but never got there. The singer was whiny. 3/5
Fav Song: Jesus, Etc.
Least Fav Song: I Am Trying to Break Your Heart
Listened to it twice. Jesus, Etc and Kamera are both good and everything else is skippable.

This is right up my alley. I just love British psych rock. I could listen to this all day. My only criticism is that the mix is pretty thin and treble heavy. After reading some of the other reviews on here, I'm glad I listened in mono.
Fav Song: Baron Saturday
Least Fav Song: dunno liked them all
Listened to it again in the afternoon. Holds up!! Went from a 4 to a 5. I’m a sucker for this stuff

Wow. Listened to this about a year ago and thought it was just fine, but this morning it's hitting just right. Excellent vibes all throughout.
Fav Song: Ex-Factor, Doo Wop
Least Fav Song: probably the skits

I thought it was good, serviceable, inoffensive rock music. His voice seemed way out of style for the Spector production techniques he used but he’s a new wave guy so gets a pass. Found all the songs pleasant. 4/5

Giving it as many stars as chords these dudes can play. 3/5
Fav: Motor City is Burning

Insanely lit 5/5. Listened twice before lunch
The A side is probably a 5 but the ambient ones on this one were a bit spooky! Listened to this album twice and the B side never got better
For a Christmas album, probably second best (after Vince Guaraldi). Gotta love the wall of sound
Time of the preaaaacherrrrrr. It was okay

I listened to this on a flight and it made it feel like a cutscene, it kinda rocked

Good soul music. It's missing some kind of sauce that would make it a 5. But enjoyed each song equally (if you catch my drift)

I REALLY want to like this but Anthony Keidis's voice bugs me, especially the rock-rapping. It's fine when he sings. Flea's basslines are badass. Fought for my life to get into it but just ehhhh

Sorta sounded the same throughout, but that's not necessarily bad. Bro was 73 cashing in on a career of being a blues legend...
Was pleasant to listen to but sometimes I struggle with old dudes voices. 3/5

White Album, Sandinista, Tusk...gotta love a long album of random music after a massive success.
Found it mostly enjoyable, didn't think any songs were skips. I imagine it's pretty hard to follow up Rumors. 4/5
Simply wonderful. Thought it was impressive, fun and pretty
Why is she dressed like a cowboy bruh

Fun, up and down punk album. Not noisy and annoying like some others (looking at you Stooges and Germs). 3/5

I feel like this guy is dying to be Morrisey...I liked The Sun Always Shines on TV & Love Is Reason. 3/5
If I was to record a studio album I would simply tune my saxophone 2/5
A new genre has entered the rotation
Honestly wasn't too excited to listen to this but my expectations immediately changed. 5/5
My predictions:
Julia: 3
Rachel: 2
Steven: 2
Patrick: 4
Paul: 4

My parents have a big CD collection and when I was a kid they would let me pick what to listen to so I picked this based on the cover. I hated every song except Chicago. When I was in high school I revisited it because I loved Chicago so much and fell in love. Far and away my favorite indie album, potentially because of nostalgia but also it’s soooo good. And he played every single instrument!! Come on Feel the Illinoise my beloved <3

Wow! Never heard of this band before but I thought it was the perfect mix of experimentation and pop sensibility. A lot of songs on here I really liked. Songs like Fight Test make me want to make more music. 4/5
Happy Mondays when Rain on Fridays walks in :0
Dumb cheesy fun. This album caught me on a good day because I'm pretty sure I hate this. 4/5
For there being only 10 reggae albums on this list it's crazy to get another one so fast. Lotta hits on this jawn 5/5
Feeling torn on this one. Does it remind me of Talking Heads? Kraftwerk? Or is it just millennial coworker music? Gunna give it a 3 because I'm not sure.
Teleported me to a Target fitting room 2/5
I wasn’t expecting to like this but dang this was pretty fun. 4/5

The really interesting and new production outweighs the grungier parts I don't like. Listened to this one twice because I wasn't sure how I felt after the first pass. Locking in a 3.
How fun was this!! Cool that it was also so political. I thought it was funny how the singing would start like 9 mins in.

Never heard this one but I listened to When The Pawn. She is so badass. I love the art pop/jazz singing with the piano and mellotron. 4.5/5 rounded up!

My sister was obsessed with AM when it came out in 2013 (and I think it might still be her favorite album OAT). I went into this expecting to not really like it but I couldn't help but be charmed by these guys. The Adam Sandler cigarette album gets a 4/5

When David Bowie died my 9th grade English teacher cried in front of the class and made us all listen to this album. That being said, this is hard to judge because while it is a difficult and demanding listen, it comes with the weight of someone understanding that his time is about to come. Saw a review on here I wanted to share: I hope he's had a safe journey back to the far away galaxy he came from.

Not my vibe but on a second listen this morning I get how it's pretty fun. The lyrics to Six Pack and TV Party are hilarious! It's fun to picture my dad listening to this when he was like 19.
