Practically criminal that this album isn't on the original lists!
Poe + prog rock? What's not to like?
Scored at 4, because the songs and lyrics are great. But I believe that the inclusion of Anthologies goes against the purpose of the page.
OK, so just yesterday I marked down an album for being too long. This is too, but, I just like it better.

Sublime's Sublime might fall a tad short of being sublime, but is it certainly very solid. 4 1/2 stars if the system would allow it.
Flabbergasted that this wasn't on the original list.
Very good soundtrack music; ethereal and evocative.
Great find. Thanks for adding the album.
Some songs I like a lot, and some some nice Kate Bush-ish vibes from time to time, but many of the songs did nothing for me.
Another should've been, or rather, I thought was, on the list album. A fine shot of nostalgia.
A time machine to the early 90's
Songs from this album have been popping up in playlists based on songs I like in Spotify recently, so nice to get the album here.
Rock, yes, but alternative? Decent enough, easy-listening, but all in all very bland.
Never heard of them. Enjoyed the album.
I have a couple Decemberists' songs on playlist, but I had never listened through this album. Who doesn't love a smashing concept album?!?
Loved it. Driven on by robust drumming on an acrolite kit, which is a bonus.
Enjoyable. Chilled. But no a lot going on, really. Undoubtedly listening to the album under influence of something stronger than beer would add a star to the review.
Good musicians and singer, but can't get rid of the feeling that I am listening to a 80's Glam Rock tribute band.
Some really nice tracks in there, but too much chaff to deserve 4 stars. You have to be in a very special category to pull off songs over 6 minutes, let alone an album with 6 of them.
One of my all-time favourites!
Improvisional and psychadelic, but melodic enough to push it over to 4 for me.
Decent enough, but for me primarily background music. Just under 3 1/2 stars.
Solid.
Nice discovery.
Some nice songs on there. Calm, soothing and generally nice to listen to, but as a whole the album lacks pace and variety.
Excellent!
Superb!
Fantastic.
Feels harsh to give The Boss 3 stars, but most of the versions didn't do a lot for me and listening to one ultra long version after another gets tiring.
Stunning
Brilliant!
I expected a nondescript post-punk album and was pleasantly surprised by it.
A slight overdose of 80's vibe (although the album is from 1979, yes).
Interesting specialist listening material, but hardly a top album in an open list.
I started listening to this with one ear while working, and was thinking "Meh..." The I started listening to the lyrics and it pushed it up to a solid 4 for me.
Good, but not as good as Beautiful Freak that is on the main list.
Loved it. Thanks for adding!
Practically criminal that this album isn't on the original lists!
Loved it.
I am not accepting the fact that this album is in none of the original lists...
Poe + prog rock? What's not to like?
Lounge and/or 60's movie soundtrack music...
Some interesting lyrics, but, with the exception of couple of songs, just not entertaining to listen to. Poorly delivered and produced.
Nice enough, but sometimes a bit bland. 3 1/2 for me.
OK, but not his best work in my opinion. 3 stars as the far superior Madvillainy is already on the list.
Quintessential 80's vibe. I personally prefer The Riddle, but Wouldn't It Be Good and I Won't Let The Sun Go Down On Me alone make it worthwhile to listen to the album.
Full of great compositions, but judging the experience of listening through the album, a 3 from me.
Well played! I only remembered "Cannonball" from the radio when it was released, but the album as a whole is excellent.
...or: How to make 1hr09 seem like 3 hours.
Great find.
I loved Mmmm Mmmm, etc. when it came out, but never sought out the album as no other songs from it got any airplay. I don't regret it. 3 1/2 stars.
Nice find. Cheers!
Little Earthquakes is already on the main list, and personally I prefer that album, but I thoroughly enjoyed Under the Pink as well.
Nice to get a reminder of how great this album is.
Some great songs, but quite a challenge to run through the album in one go.
Listening to 1-2 tracks can be amusing, but then it just gets annoying. Individual tracks 3-4 stars, but 2 for the album.
3,5...
Absolutely brilliant, and timeless.
A solid 4, really, but I marked at 5 because "Love Rears Its Ugly Head" is such a great song.
I didn't expect to like this, but I did. I couldn't easily tell you why, though.
Aznavour is unique!
I tend to let the experience of listening to the whole album in one siting influence the score on here, and this one is just sooooo long... Of course, I resume full responsibility for not using mind-altering substances, knowing that this might have reduced my appreciation of the album.
OK, so just yesterday I marked down an album for being too long. This is too, but, I just like it better.
Based on the 4 songs available on Spotify, as I couldn't find the full album anywhere else online either.
Scored at 4, because the songs and lyrics are great. But I believe that the inclusion of Anthologies goes against the purpose of the page.
If possible, I would give it 3,5.
