Very nice album. Went to look up Don McLean to see if he was still alive...then saw that not only is he alive but dating a 30 year old OnlyFans model 👀

4/5
Led Zeppelin
4/5
Pink Floyd
5/5
Kate Bush
2/5
Described as the first cross-section of pop and prog rock with 80s production dominant throughout. Not really my jam (too 80s sounding) but Kate Bush was weirdly hot in the 80s.
2.5 if I'm being generous

Cream

Interesting album - I enjoyed listening, would probably never listen again. Would rather listen to her songs on the VU & Nico album
Lupe Fiasco
4/5
Some great tracks here. Really enjoy his style
The Chemical Brothers
4/5
Fuckin fuck ya! Where's the molly?
Derek & The Dominos
2/5
A couple decent tracks (quite enjoyed the cover of Little Wing) but all starts to sound the same.
Not sure where the hype for this album really comes from. I maintain the only great thing Clapton ever did was his involvement with Cream
2.5
Red Hot Chili Peppers
4/5
Grant Lee Buffalo
3/5
Better tunes than I thought. Not really sure why it's on the list though
Solange
4/5
Am yet to finish the whole album, but what a pleasant surprise. Took me a few tracks to get into it and realize what she was doing. But damn, her seat at the table is more than deserved.
Saint Etienne
2/5
How the hell did this album make the list? I quite enjoyed the cover of Only Love Can Break Your Heart, but damn. Not very memorable or groundbreaking or important historically.
The Velvet Underground
5/5
Muddy Waters
3/5
Mannish Boy is a five star song 100%. But the rest of the album starts to feel all the same. A legend for sure, but it got a little boring for me.
Jane's Addiction
4/5
Definitely have to think about this album in the context of when it was released. In the late 80s, they changed the game and ushered in Alternative scene.
This was way groovier/funkier than I was expecting.
Louis Prima
5/5
How can you not love this guy? One of my favourite voices ever in music.
Joni Mitchell
5/5
Holy Fuck
The Smiths
3/5
A vocalist makes or breaks a band for me, and....jesus. Some of the instrumentals were great, but Morissey..just no dude. No.
Having said that, the album grew on me as it went on. "That Joke isn't Funny Anymore" is a legitimately GREAT song. And the bassline for Barbarism slapped
The Flaming Lips
4/5
Loved this. Feel like I need to sit with this album and listen again to really take it in. But very melodic, beautiful album. Can't believe it's taken this long to check out this band!
Judas Priest
3/5
Not what I'd normally listen to but I got into it at the gym
The Smiths
3/5
3.5

3/5
3.5
Overall too long and a lot of throwaway tracks that do nothing for the album. But that was common for hip-hop back then.
Love the flow and Eye Know is an incredible track
Nick Drake
5/5
The Smiths
3/5
3.5
Okay, The Smiths might have grown on me since Meat is Murder. Much more enjoyable album and Morissey's vocals didn't annoy me as much here. Should listen again but wouldn't come back to The Smiths outside of this project
John Lennon
5/5
Fats Domino
3/5
Couldn't find the album but jammed out to some Fats Domino. Pretty solid. Just classic earlyyyyy rock n roll, nothing too exciting. Cool hearing the originals of some of the 60s bands who covered him (eg. Beatles)
Adele
4/5
Liked this far more than I thought I was going to. Rumour has it = banger
Someone Like you = beautiful, heartfelt song
Portishead
3/5
This is why you listen to the album all the way through! So close to turning it off after the fifth song, Plastic (WOW that song sucks ass), but "We Carry On" - Sick song. Loved the groove, kinda Radiohead vibes. Then "Deep Water" a lovely little ukulele ditty, right up my alley. From there, I really got into the weirdness of the rest of the album.
Overall, really don't like the vocals and the only good vocal melody is "Deep Water"
Beck
4/5
Frank Sinatra
2/5
Love Frank..but this ain't it
Big Black
3/5
Ouchies my ears. Probably won't listen again but got pretty into it on side B.
Fists of Love was actually pretty tight.
Strange Things was also pretty sick

Aqualung (title track) is great. Sounds so similar to Stairway to Heaven at times, which is interesting as they were recorded around the same time and both bands used the same studio at certain points
ABBA
4/5
Dancing Queen! Forgot how incredible Fernando is
The Human League
1/5
80s bullshit.
Don't You Want Me is a banger though, and could have brought the album to a 2 if not for that awful album cover

An Irish band from 2003 that sounds like a folk/rock album from 1971. Decent tunes but not sure why it would be included on this list

Criminal a pretty damn good tune though
Björk
3/5
Interesting album. I enjoyed it. Not something I would go back to though

For someone who hates 80s synth pop with a passion, I actually quite enjoyed this. The album flowed really well. Loved the little throwbacks to Gerry and the Pacemakers; Relax made me giggle thinking of Zoolander; and the 13 minute "Welcome to the Pleasuredome" was a brilliant intro to the album.

First track was great, same with the cover of Be Thankful for What You’ve Got. Last track good as well.
The gym was probably not the best environment for this. Lot of mellow meandering
Ali Farka Touré
3/5
Collaboration between Malian guitarist Ali Farka Toure and American guitarist Ry Cooder
Cool album, interesting sounds. A bit boring overall
Kings of Leon
4/5
I can see why people don't like them; but also see why they got so popular. Good catchy tunes
Barry Adamson
3/5
Didn't make it all the way through but was enjoying it for the most part
3.5
The Offspring
4/5
For some reason I thought The Offspring were a metal band. This is SO up my alley. Best track: Come Out and Play
The Youngbloods
4/5
Well this is obviously right up my alley - 60s folk rock/pop/psychedelia. Beautiful voice, nice instrumentals.
Best track - Sunlight, Darkness Darkness
Kings of Leon
3/5
Second Kings of Leon album in a week?? I quite enjoyed the last one, but I guess I'm already tired of them as this one I found pretty boring. The last two tracks though (Holy Roller Novocaine, and Talihina Sky) were great
David Bowie
4/5
Some great tunes, but the abomination that was his Beatles cover definitely takes it down a notch.
A solid 3.5, rounded up cause it's Bowie
The Dave Brubeck Quartet
4/5
Two bonafide bangers and an assortment of other lovely ditties
The Flying Burrito Brothers
5/5
Great album! Hippie country rock. Similar to Grateful Dead.
Best songs:
Christine's Tune
Sin City
Do Right Woman
My Uncle
Hot Burrito #1
Hippie Boy
Hüsker Dü
2/5
3 songs was enough. Crap
The Saints
3/5
Fun punk album from Australia's first punk band (supposedly)
The Libertines
2/5
Kate Bush
3/5
Listened to this back to back after her album, Hounds of Love. This one was weirder which I was into.
Best songs:
Sat In Your Lap
There Goes A Tenner
Suspended in Gaffa
Bee Gees
4/5
Great album. A little long, too much filler. And I admittedly wasn't paying attention to the concept of the album. But some awesome songs. God they have some weird and wonderful voices
Best tracks:
Marley Purt Drive
Melody Fair (sounds like McCartney / Lemon Twigs)
Whisper Whisper
Lamplight
Sound of Love
Give Your Best
Never Say Never Again
First of May
John Prine
5/5
Fantastic album. Great songwriting. It's probably a 9.5/10 for me, rounding up
The Beach Boys
5/5
Boston
4/5
Not usually a huge fan of generic arena rock, but this is different. Banger after banger. And Hitch a Ride was a much needed break from the sameness of the radio hits preceding it. And best song on the album
Turbonegro
2/5
Don't feel like this is deserving of being on the list.
Dolly Parton
4/5
Lovely album. Title track is incredible. Also loved Early Morning Breeze, The Way I see You, and Here I Am
Lauryn Hill
4/5
3.75
Best songs:
Ex-factor
To Zion
Doo Wop
I used to love him
Tell Him (best on the album)
Astor Piazzolla
1/5
No
Frank Black
4/5
Wow what an awesome surprise! The lead singer/songwriter from the pixies. This album though has more of a reggae/ska/punk feel - I read it was described as the Pixies on the beach.
At 22 songs, I thought it was going to be far too many songs, but as I started writing down standout tracks, I ended up writing down half the album.
Best tracks:
(I Want to Live on an) Abstract Plan
Calistan
Headache
Sir Rockaby
Fiddle Riddle
Big Red
Space is Gonna do me Good
Pure Denizen of the Citizens Band
4.5
Eric Clapton
3/5
Better than expected! His voice sounds pretty good here too. Solid cover of I Shot The Sheriff.
3.5
Amy Winehouse
4/5
Wow I do not remember this album being so good. For me, it almost rivals Back to Black. I can't give it 5 stars but I really wish half stars were possible cause this is a 4.5 to 4.75
Elvis Costello & The Attractions
3/5
Definitely don't need 6 of this guy's albums, especially when this one is considered his best. They were all pretty solid tunes, best song by far was Pump It Up.
3.5
The Byrds
4/5
Great album by one of the most influential bands of the 60s. Thought I would like it a little more than I did, but need to re-listen
Best songs:
Have You Seen Her Face
Everybody's Been Burned
Thoughts and Words
Mind Gardens
My Back Pages (Dylan cover)
The Byrds
3/5
The first track is one of their all time best, but the rest of the album didn't quite hold up. I prefer their earlier folk/psychedelic sound more, and also prefer the offshoot album/band The Flying Burrito Brothers
3.5
4/5
Needs another listen but I loved this album. Yes is one of the best discoveries of this project. Probably an 8.5/10
The Byrds
4/5
Lovely album. Crosby's Triad song was one of the best songs and should have been on the album. Some lovely bass playing by Chris Hillman and of course Roger McGuinn's jangly guitar. Harmonies on point as always
Best songs:
Basically all of them
4.5
The Lemonheads
3/5
Really great album. Not positive I would go back to it much but super enjoyable. Lovely cover of Mrs. Robinson
3.5
Kings of Leon
4/5
Three Kings of Leon albums?? I think 1 would have been enough. Having said that, they found a formula and it works. It's a bit cheesy, can see why a lot of people don't like it. But damn they write some good catchy tunes. Wasn't really a weak spot on the album.
Suzanne Vega
2/5
Very inoffensive. None of the songs grabbed me. Wouldn't be mad if someone was playing this in the background but I'd never intentionally put this on
The Young Rascals
3/5
Damn, one of my favourite bands for the 60s but I guess this is why I've never listened to their studio albums. The only good songs were the ones I already knew.
Groovin is one of the greatest, most chill summer songs of all time though
3.5
George Harrison
4/5
Just looking at the songs, it's a 5 star album. But I can't stand the production on most tracks and there's no need to include the jam tracks.
4.5
Aretha Franklin
4/5
Funkier than I thought! Amazing album, need to re-listen.
4.5
Antony and the Johnsons
2/5
Pretentious and boring. Although I love that Devendra Banhart makes an appearance
Alice Cooper
3/5
I love the dead
MGMT
4/5
I normally hate synth pop, but this hits. Perfect combo of synth pop, neo pyschadelia, 2000s pop, and 18 year old nostalgia
Jacques Brel
1/5
Live album from a French singer in 1963. Boring
Gillian Welch
3/5
Some nice country and western/ blue-grass /folk. A little boring. Nice harmonies and guitar/banjo work
Moby
4/5
14 y/o eminem-obsessed me would be embarrassed I liked this, but it was actually great! Far too many songs though; a lot of boring filler songs. Would have been a strong 4 if there would like 5 less tracks
But the good songs were great. I want to be driving down the PCH on a warm summer's night listening to these.
Best Tracks:
Honey
Porcelain
Bodyrock
Natural Blues
Flower
Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad
3.75
Rush
4/5
Holy shit, this was awesome! For some reason I didn't think I liked Geddy Lee's voice, but it works really well here. Only word to describe this album is epic.
4.25
Big Star
3/5
Pretty fun record. It's got the theme from That 70s Show on here!?
Favourite track:
The India Song
3.5
The Damned
3/5
Pretty fun punk rock album. No real standouts though. Enjoyed it but wouldn't listen again.
Faith No More
3/5
Didn't quite finish the album but this was great! Way different than I was expecting, pretty funky with some hip hop elements. Almost sounded like Chili Peppers at times.
With the entire history of music at my fingertips, I'm not sure I'd listen to this again, but I should.
A solid 3.5 - 3.75
Sonic Youth
1/5
Boring noise/industrial rock with no melody or redeeming features
The Electric Prunes
4/5
Really enjoyed this. Had never heard of the band before which is surprising. Need to listen again.
I'll give it 3.75 (7.5) and round up to 4
4/5
Great album from my favourite band I've discovered through this project.
Not as strong overall as Parklife, and is a bit too long. There's a good 4-5 songs that could probably be cut to create a stronger record
The Beau Brummels
3/5
Enjoyed this album. Although I listened to it right before the Electric Prunes album from the same era, and that was much better.
It's a 3 but only cause I love the 60s and this style of music
Moby Grape
4/5
Love this album. Been at least a decade since I've heard it.
Mr. Blues: absolutely love the vocals here
Fall on You: sounds like a more energetic Grateful Dead tune
8:05: beautiful vocal melody and harmonies.
Omaha: incredible guitar work
Naked if I Want To: a 10/10 perfect song at 0:58 seconds. This should have been 3 mins. Love the bassline, great vocal melody/harmonies, silly lyrics, nice guitar licks.
They showed so much potential with this debut, it's a shame they never really hit it big.
Missy Elliott
5/5
Wow. Beyond the two singles (which are bangers) this album was non-stop. Really surprised how much I enjoyed it. Love that early 2000s hip-hop sound. Probably a 4.5 but I'll round up
Peter Gabriel
4/5
Woah! Enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. Enjoyed most songs, but the best were:
Solsbury Hill
Excuse Me (favourite)
Waiting for the Big One
Suede
2/5
This is Britpop?? Wow it's nothing like Blur or Oasis and I am not a fan. Really don't like the singer's voice
Joe Ely
2/5
Pretty boring, all sounds mostly the same country from the 70s
Pixies
3/5
Enjoyed the overall sound/vibe, and understand it was a hugely influential album, however, I didn't really find any of the songs to be great on their own (other than Where Is My Mind)
Astrud Gilberto
2/5
As much as I love Samba, this is pretty forgettable
Lorde
3/5
Pretty decent. Nice production, a couple good songs but not really my vibe.
Tom Waits
3/5
Some really great, fun songs:
Heartattack and Vine - really fucking good song
In Shades (Instrumental) - a nice break from his voice after Track 1
Downtown
Jersey Girl
Til the Money Runs Out
Mr. Siegal (maybe the best song)
Unfortunately the others are barely listenable. Even the songs I like are barely listenable due to his vocal delivery. Sounds like he took a sip of water and started singing before swallowing it. And it bothers the hell outta me. Would love to hear these songs sung by someone else.
3.5
Willie Nelson
4/5
What a voice. Lovely stuff. The only song I'd say that truly stood out was the first track, and one of the few actually written by Willie.
Torn between 3 and 4 but I'll go 4 cause I like him
The Good, The Bad & The Queen
2/5
Boring, disappointing from an awesome group of musicians. Felt uninspired, all kind of slower to mid-tempo.
Nature Springs is actually a great song though.
The Monkees
4/5
Loved it. Great, happy 60s tunes. 4.25
The Go-Betweens
1/5
Awful and bland. No business being on this list
Air
4/5
Love it. Groovy tunes to work to. Lovely basslines
4.25
Fun Lovin' Criminals
2/5
I got halfway through. It's honestly pretty fun, some good grooves/beats. But it's pretty cheesy and shouldn't be anywhere near this list.
Seriously, these guys over Sublime?? Fuck outta here
William Orbit
3/5
Listened at work. Honestly pretty enjoyable. It's electronic so it all kinda blended together for me. But nice music to work to.
Not as good as Air.
The Beach Boys
4/5
RIP Brian :( This album showed his maturing as a songwriter with Side 2
4.5
The Killers
4/5
Pretty great album. I knew the two hits but that was it. Not sure I'd choose to go back to this again but I enjoyed it.
Nanci Griffith
3/5
Beautiful voice and harmonies, nice songs, good lyrics, just really not my cuppa. If this was being played by a live band in cozy pub in rural America/Atlantic Canada, I'd be pretty stoked on it. And for that, I'll give it 3 stars.
Common
3/5
Pretty average. The couple times Kanye showed up, he completely overshadowed Common. Overall a nice album, but a little boring
Curtis Mayfield
4/5
It's Curtis Mayfield; it's brilliant.
Pusherman = Eminem (I'm Shady)
Superfly = Nelly (Tilt Ya Head Back)
The Waterboys
4/5
That was good shit. Like celtic folk rock. Some great dissonant fiddle playing. Side 1, and especially the first couple tracks, were the best. But I enjoyed all of it.
Tom Waits
4/5
Really enjoyed this. Probably more than the previous Tom Waits album - Heartattack and Vine. Best songs:
Such A Scream
Jesus Gonna Be Here (his voice sounds great here)
In The Colosseum
Goin' Out West
Black Wings
I Don't Wanna Grow Up (probably the best song)
Black Sabbath
4/5
4.5
The National
3/5
Really enjoying this album. Started off shaky, wasn't huge on the opening track but maybe I would be now that I get their sound more. Really like the guy's voice. It does feel like other bands of the era - heavy reverb guitars, songs that build but don't really change at all; not a lot of differentiation between tracks. Too much going on, feels like a wall of sound in a bad way. And, although I was enjoying it, it quickly became very forgettable after I turned it off. Really nothing memorable about this to me, despite being a fairly solid album
2.5
Supergrass
5/5
Amazing album. 4.5 stars rounded up
Miles Davis
4/5
Good stuff. Enjoyable. Don't really know how to rate it. Sounded nice while I got work done
Simon & Garfunkel
5/5
Roxy Music
4/5
This album absolutely rips. I'd seen the album cover but never listened to Roxy Music before and they're fucking awesome. If I started listing best songs, I'd end up listing the entire album. Bryan Ferry's vocals are kinda similar to David Byrne of the Talking Heads
Three and Nine is a great, chill tune with kind of a Ray Davies delivery
Out of the Blue is a ripper, awesome guitar solo at the end.
If It Takes All Night is a fun Elvis sorta pastiche
Bitter Sweet is an amazing dramatic vaudeville song that wouldn't sound out of place on Pink Floyd's The Wall
Triptych has some baroque vibes with almost chamber-like vocals and harmonies
Casanova simply kicks ass. Funky as hell.
A very strong 4
The Sonics
4/5
Honestly a pretty incredible sound for 1965. Imagine this coming out then, it would have been unreal. The only thing I can think of that is similar and came before is The Kinks.
There's a few duds like their atrocious cover Roll Over Beethoven, but some incredible tracks as well:
The Witch
Do You Love Me
Have Love Will Travel
Psycho
Strychnine
Sister Sledge
4/5
Funky as hell!
Incubus
3/5
Decent sound but most of the songs all sounded the same, except the huge hit, Drive, which took me back to when I was 10 years old
Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
4/5
Really enjoyed this. Great production, love the vocals, decent variety between songs. Some were a little on the boring side but it's an interesting album overall that explored several genres while maintaining a psych blues rock feel.
The middle of the album was the highlight with I'm Glad (a motown style song with the most generic motown lyrics you'll ever here, which I think was done on purpose; Electricity, and Yellow Brick Road
Nas
3/5
Interesting album to rate. Is Nas a good rapper? Absolutely. Does he create catchy songs that I enjoy and draw the ear in? Not for me. He's a brilliant wordsmith but I don't find his voice interesting at all. Think of all the greatest rappers, they have such unique, recognizable voices. His sounds like a very generic voice to me. There's also no comedic aspect that you often find in many rap albums. I need to re-listen cause this could be a grower.
It Ain't Hard To Tell is an incredible song though
Aretha Franklin
4/5
Fleetwood Mac
5/5
Thundercat
3/5
Fun listen. But far too long and it starts to all sound the same. And with 23 songs at 51 mins, the fat could have been trimmed. Them Changes truly is an absolute banger of a tune. Some other good tracks as well, can't remember which ones. Kendrick feature was good.
3.5
PJ Harvey
3/5
Inoffensive. Kinda boring
Dexys Midnight Runners
2/5
Absolutely no reason for them to have THREE albums on this list. I do really like them, but their first two were much better. Seriously, why is this here?
Tim Buckley
2/5
Like a terrible, boring version of Astral Weeks
The Byrds
4/5
The Byrds clearly have 1 or 2 albums that don't need to be on this list. This album being one of them. However, I'm so glad they got 5 albums on the list as it introduced me to their discography and I've become a huge fan.
They are an interesting group in that they don't truly have any massive hits like their contemporaries. Their best songs are often covers. But their overall sound is just so good I don't really care
This album is probably a 3.5
Morrissey
4/5
Oh shit. I actually liked something by Morrissey? This was actually really good. I think I liked it better than any Smiths record. His voice still doesn't really do it for me but it doesn't actively turn me off the music.
TV On The Radio
3/5
It was fine, no real stand out tracks but it was good music
Wilco
5/5
One of the best albums of the 21st century
The Jam
4/5
Wow what a surprise! This album is incredible. The Jam have moved away from their earlier punk rock sound into the post-punk, power pop era. And it's fantastic. Their Beatles/Kinks/Who/Small Faces influences shine through but with a heavier funk element. Those basslines! Best tracks after 1.5 listens:
Monday
Start!
That's Entertainment
Boy About Town
4.5
Pavement
3/5
Love their sound and have heard Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain a bunch and love that album, but this one didn't do it as much for me.
3.5
Nick Drake
5/5
Peter Tosh
3/5
Probably deserves another listen, but I enjoyed it. Some really nice songs, but nothing blew me away.
3.5
The Pharcyde
3/5
This was super fun. Old school hip hop, funny lyrics, good flows.
3.5
Funkadelic
4/5
R.E.M.
4/5
Fantastic record. Need to go back and listen to Murmur again as I didn't like it at first.
The overall sound of the record isn't reeeally my thing but I can't deny these are some great tunes. Reminded me a bit of the Tragically Hip, especially the vocals, and a google search suggested the Hip have been referred to as the Canadian REM. A lot of the songs have kind of an east coast thing going which is strange for a band from Athens, Georgia.
A strong 4
Sade
2/5
15 mins was all I needed to hear. Not for me
John Lennon
4/5
The Darkness
4/5
What a fun album! Besides the massive hit that everyone knows and loves, my favourite tracks were:
Givin' Up
Love Is Only A Feeling
Friday Night
4.25
The 13th Floor Elevators
3/5
Need to finish the album. The first track is pretty great, but overall not bringing much new to the table. I like the 60s psychedelic/garage rock sound, but most of the songs are fairly average
Ray Charles
2/5
One of the best voices in recorded music history. But these songs just didn't do it for me. Where's Georgia On My Mind, Drown In My Own Tears, What I'd Say, Night and Day, Hit The Road Jack, I've Got A Woman, Here We Go Again.
Love Ray Charles, but he's only got one other album on this list and none of his best songs are represented.
The Who
5/5
My favourite album by The Who! Didn't realize it's on the list, but stoked it is. Wonderfully quirky, tongue-in-cheek, wrapped up in 60s psychedelia, and it just has some great songs. Mary Anne, Odorono, Tattoo, I Can See For Miles, Real
Can
4/5
This is amazing. It's prog, it's funky, experimental, art-pop, jazzy, psychedelic. Apparently Radiohead were inspired by this when recording Kid A and Amnesiac and that definitely checks out. Seems like just about everyone in the post-punk genre were influenced by this.
Strong 4
Can
5/5
Can is just so fucking sick. Very glad this project has brought them to my attention. And I got their two albums on the list back to back! What are the odds. I will say, I don't ever need to hear Aumgn again though.
Not sure which album I enjoyed more (possibly Future Days - more listens required), but one of them deserves a 5 so I'll give it here.
KISS
2/5
This sounds like an AI attempt at generic 70s stadium rock. Paul Stanley > Gene Simmons. Shout it Out Loud is a solid track though
2.5
Patti Smith
4/5
Good tunes, like the vibe. Probably not something I'd really come back to.
3.75
Mudhoney
4/5
Turns out Nirvana didn't invent grunge, it was these guys, and they fuckin rock!
Otis Redding
3/5
One of the greatest voices of all time, but too many covers. Great songs overall but I'd honestly rather just listen to his greatest hits.
Billie Holiday
3/5
Gorgeous voice. This is apparently her last album and she passed away a year later at 44.
Very jazzy, reminds me of my grandparents and christmas time. Starts to sound a bit samey. No true stand outs as a result
Doves
2/5
Gobshite
Early 2000s soft rock, like Coldplay but bad
John Grant
5/5
Holy shit. Incredible. Immediately one of my faves of the project so far. It's SO Father John Misty with a good measure of Randy Newman and Harry Nilsson thrown in. I feel like Bo Burnham listens to this guy
T. Rex
4/5
Great album. None of the songs truuly stood out but there also wasn't a bad song. Good tunes. Not sure I'd really revisit this but also would enjoy it if someone put it on
Dr. John
3/5
Very odd album. I like his voice but he doesn't really sing any melodies. Mama Roux and Jump Sturdy were both awesome songs, bringing the mediocrity of the rest of the album to a nice and average 3 stars.
