I have such mixed feelings about this album. Radiohead is one of my favorite bands and this could have the highest highs of any radiohead album. That being said, fitter happier>electioneering>climbing up the walls could be the weakest three song run in like any radiohead album.
This album is super underrated but it kinda falls off in the second half. I think the ballads on here are A1! I also love the acoustic guitars. Favorite moment on the album is Paul's high harmony on the bridge of "You can't do that"

I understand this album is incredibly influential, especially on music that I adore like all of the windmill scene. But it still has never fully clicked for me. I def enjoy it more than I used to but I have yet to have my moment with it
Dude YES! Wow this album fucking ruled. It is literally a fusion of everything cool ever. African beats and hooks and instrumentals. Thomas Dolby and Trevor horn homemade synth beats. Incredible grooves. 50 different genres in one. I’m in love

A classic. One of my favorites as a kid. TBH half of the blues songs u can kinda throw away. And heard it through the grapevine is way too long. But some of the best contributions to the great American song book lie here. 3.5

An album with some great songs that had unfortunately aged pretty terribly. My dad says this was like one of the most popular albums of the 80s. Things that haven’t aged well: the second verse of money for nothing. YIKES! Love walk of life though and money for nothing is a fucking BANGER otherwise shoutout sting
I mean this feels like THE rock and roll album. It is everything good about rock and roll: high energy, sloppy, drugged out, and soulful. Some of the all time best stones songs on here. One critique is that it is a little too long. But I’d say 85% of it I adore. 4.5

They say this is like the first Brit rock album, and a theme of this exercise I’ve learned is that I do NOT like Brit rock. That being said this album is fucking excellent. The songwriting is so good and it sounds great. Shoutout one of my fav producers John leckie. A Davis classic. 4.5/5
A classic album. It’s kinda like listening to like Elvis or something. Very primitive and super fun. Can’t say it is something I put on but certainly understand it’s importance and it has a bunch of hits
There were things I loved about this and things I really did not love. I love his voice and the harmonies I could listen to that all day. Some of the songwriting was a little too “classic rock” for me which is something I’m realizing can really turn me off.
Great record wow!!! He is so fucking good he is def in my Mount Rushmore of rappers. The production was so good too and shoutout Norah Jones and dangelo for two great Dion waiters. Also this was def a tribute to j dilla which was beautiful.
