Solid - The back half lags like shit
That album's a mess. No choruses.

Really balanced album I should reach for more often.
Sounds great, still. New favorite ‘Beatin’ Around the Bush’
This isn’t why the Pixies are great. It’s a fine album but it sounds like ‘Doolittle’ B-sides. After the third song it starts to sound same-y.
Bummer of an album but that's the way it's supposed to be.
Fun!
Perfect for 1980! Songs are nice and focused.
Good. The Bomb Squad was toned down and groovy!
They move as a band like a cat. Couldn’t find a pitchy note.
There’s a little fat. Not a ton. Most songs don’t grab me.
Mostly good songs mostly elaborately appointed.
There are a lot of hits on this one.
I’m sure it’s fantastic but reggae ain’t my jam -
The hits are great and still sound good. Everything else is standard issue dance pop.
Sounds of it’s time but still sounds good.
Great songs! Some clunkers. Still sounds great.
I don’t know why this album is on this list. It’s dull, thick and drowsy.
Man, this record is dumb, shrill and in a hurry. F!
Better than I thought but not my jam.
Pretty good but I thought the Stooges were more aggressive -
Good. I’m always surprised at Black Sabbath’s musicality. The drums sound like they’re the ones used on the Flintstones theme.
Good songs. Some horsing around that gets thin.
Still sparkly!
Most 17 tracks sounded the same.
Good! You can hear it echoed down through the years.
Pretty standard jazz …
Same as it ever was, which is fantastic!
I see how people went apeshit but it's seriously same-y
Been there, heard that
Goes down easy!
Second half is a snooze
Really good! Charlie Bird is tasty!
Nothing for me here
This is a soft pop record. They don’t have flutes and glocks and crap but they do sing ‘La la la la’
1995 first for Matador records!
Soundtrack for your fainting couch! Couldn’t finish it. Dramatic, samey, screechy.
Almost there, just need the songs
WTPD is a prog song. The longer it goes it the more it drags.
Weird, good. Funny. “Where the fuck did Monday go?” and “I can’t give away everything!” are two good choruses
Nothing for me here. Not listening.
I can see why it’s lauded. Doing this in the late 80s was only recently legal.
Better than I thought. More diverse in terms of grooves and arrangements
I wsnt to listen again.
Good songs!
Genius is right!
Fun, poppy, kitchen sink-ish production. A good time. I'd listen again but I wouldn't likely reach for it.
The hits were good
Shoulda been a single and left out all of that Broadway Bob Ezrin crap.
More upbeat than I anticipated.
Man, one hit and a bunch of other boring stuff.
Classic and still quite an ass kicker
Interesting but very of it's time
Decent
Better than I remember
kinda samey over all -
Bo-ring!
Pretty feral
Good hits and then some really under done shit
Sucked!
Still good - Short too
Mellow
Really energetic!
Yeah, still good -
Same
Fine
Flawless
Good effort, the songs weren't there
Fine but boring
Decent - Not earth shattering
Good but effin' long
Half good / Half wtf?
I gave it a shot
Pleasant -
Classic!
Eh, I didn't hate it
Tight!
I didn't hate it
Kinda snoozy, one hit
Pretty good, worth sitting through
Maybe three good songs and some meandering
Good amount of hits and it sort of meandered otherwise
Politely, not my thing.
Good as it ever was - Not a ton of fat!
Not my thing but is probably shit hot to jazzers
C'mon, it's CCR
Lotta fun! Scratchin' that Schlager itch!
Read about this record for years. Better than I thought. I'd listen again.
It wasn't all tinkly tinkly like I thought it would be. There were some tough grooves in there.
They got their Bowie on! Good songs was long but not boring
Boring UK 90's disco
Not bad, short
Nice, varied, I'll listen again -
Good for the time, kinda dull now
Bo-Ring!
Nice snot rock 'n' all. There was one tough groove. That was it.
Fine
Whatever -
Great!
Sucked! Listened to a cut and a half. Got angry, turned it off.
Pretty good - They were stretching
Fine
Songs are still good although a little cartoonish. This is the book of late '70s classic rock.
I got some distance from it and it's not bad - Occasionally boring ... But good overall
Good, Chic 'n' all
I listened to it but didn't hear it. Not my bag.
It's Graceland isn't it?
Sterling work!
Classic!
Solid - The back half lags like shit
One hit. Couple good songs. Some filler.
Whatever. Couple hits. Glenn Frey sounded ridiculous.
Good. A bit weird. I just don't have tropicalia ears -
Songs are good and all but some of it just is too smooth for me and it infected everything in music for about 7 years.
Long, good songs, good singin', good playin'
Most of it was good. Some of it was reaching for something that wasn't there.
Some good parts, some out there parts and in-between parts
It had a couple hits - After that the whole damn album was the same shitty song
Bo-Ring!
Good, wide, varied, LONG!
Straight up classic!
Great for it's time and later, just kinda clunky now
Better than I thought, I'll listen again.
About 1/3 the 'In YOUR MIND!' psych, 1/3 cutesy psych and 1/3 Ucky Ducky psych
It was fine
Interesting - I'd listen again
I thought it was a little boring but fun. Stephanie hated it.
Better than I thought. Not all of the songs are 'there' but the texture was nice.
I know they're super influential but I didn't get it
NOT what I thought it was going to be. Very enjoyable sort of orch-pop.
My god the caterwauling. That album had no point.
Well, it's Bob isn't it?
Pretty good, pretty varied
Couple hits, overall kinda samey and boring
Sucked! The 'we're recording this almost dead guy' schtick is kinda ... shitty
Better than I remember - Interesting vibes
Lotta carterwauling, no joy
There were three songs on this album that somehow became twelve songs ....
Still good, that sax though -
Sort of a hodge podge, mostly good songs but kinda schizophrenic
This thing still sounds freakin' great - Songs are good too - A couple sounded very alike -
Nice and varied, not all of the songs were there. The production was sometimes conspicuous
Man, that was a hard listen
Pretty good - Songs were nicely varied - Got that Fela funk
It was fine, didn't seem to have a point sometimes. Missing Persons vibes amongst a LOT of other things.
Long, but a nice change - Fun and smart
Liked it! What a groove!
I couldn't listen to this when I was younger. It's good though.
Bawdy, raunchy, what's not to love? It was Rocky Horror-licious!
Well, it's CCR isn't it?
Bo-ring!
Interesting bag. I'll listen again.
Good record! Groovy -
It was long and loud and went on a bit - Still good
Average
Near perfect, isn't it?
RCA sides, s'alright
Made it a minute - Not my thing
BO-RING! It was a ton of mellow and one hit -
Got a little monotonous - Overall good
That's some good Bowie!
Really good! Better than you'd think -
Still really good -
Decent. After a few more listens I'd probably 'see the light'
Kinda aimless. Not a lot of choruses.
It's ZZ Top, but not how I like them
Really good, if a little samey
Still haven't 'got' Genesis but this was pleasant
Still good!
The hits were good, it got samey
I don't need to listen to that again -
Won't listen to that again -
Uuuuuh, dunno what the fuss is. It was decent
It was a hit for a reason -
Decent. Nice hits.
Not bad - Got kinda same
Classic! Not everyone would like it but I sure do.
It was terrible but not complete dogshit -
Not bad, it got ponderous
Not my fave Zep but still good -
Okay, not a big album for me -
Good, better than I expected
Still really good - They had the songs
Decent - I'd listen again
Nothing else like it in '67. Nothing like it still -
Little unhinged and fun!
Hokey but enjoyable -
These guys are unique - They may go somewhere
I expected more from 'the only band that matters'
Good but LONG!
Long, kinda boring, a few good grooves
Fantastic! Never heard it before -
Better than expected - I'll listen again
English, cute, decent
It was alright, this record can really drag though
It wore me down. There were some great moments -
Well, yeah, it's REALLY good!
This was GOOD. Clunky, funky and weird!
Not impressed. Slow, plodding, emo Sabbath
Swagger!
This is where Marvin got the reputation. Marvin dealt in vibes -
Still haven't caught the magic yet -
Kind of a trick pony
There's a thirty minute album In here but it was 1992. It didn't wear as well as you'd think.
Raucus. I could hear CCR in it. But, blah -
It was okay - Meh, I guess
Nice, varied, the mandolins had not yet taken over
Did not like this - Plodding, brown, lumpy - Don't tell me I had to be there - This thing was ponderous
Good! I'd listen again!
Fun!
Really good - Nice chord changes and atmospheres
Moody, good. I'll listen again -
Yeah, I heard this earlier today. Still great!
Kinda serious - Good, but serious
They rocked on this album for about 19 seconds - I never liked X
Better than I remember - Still not a real chorus - It was fine
Loved it! Never heard it all the way through and it's a hoot!
I'm not the target audience for this but I gave it a shot. It didn't blow my skirt up. I'll try again later -
Kinda cutesy, kinda bluesy, kinda three different albums in one
All good!
Mostly slow, some good tunes
That album's a mess. No choruses.
Better than I remember. Goofy, stoney, good fun.
Boring ass UK disco
Good and LONG!
Classic for a reason
Too god damn much navel gazing shit on this record
Ambitious and empty.
Decent all the way through -
Dark and funky -
Really interesting. I'll listen again!
HEAVY!
Better than I thought. I'll listen to it again.
Good, long. It doesn't always work -
Don't need to hear this again -
Good fun!
Ultimately, kinda dull
Decent, snappy, didn't change my life.
Yeah, this is my shit
Couple good songs, not much else
Couldn't take it. Heard two songs and bailed
A little rough. They didn't know who they were yet -
Good record. Dug it.
I liked this one.
Not my favorite. Also, kinda samey.
This is what Wendy from Peter Pan listens to. Sounded like a doily.
Good, shame it wasn't taken more seriously
Not as bad as I thought but man did it get same
The songs were good but they straight burnt my ears off of my head with the guitar tones
Whatever - I don't know how anybody was impressed
It's good 'n' all, it's also kinda hokey -
The hits were hits, the rest?
Whatever -
Better than I thought - I'll have to listen again
