The first song was OK, I struggled with the next few and gave up and retreated to Planet rock.

Early album with a couple of good songs. You can see where others songs have evolved from this. Also one or two really sound like The Who were an influence.

I actually quite liked this. Had an old vibe to it. The music was good and the bass was really good.

This utter crap is for vegans that drink soya lattes. The only good thing about this album is that I never have to listen to it again.

As usual with these Beatles albums, 2or3 good songs that have stood the test of time, the rest, forgettable.

Quite samey but I enjoyed it

Rush are very marmite, but you can't argue with the musicianship.

Awful 80s synth pop. I could almost forgive the plastic music but not the vocals. Especially the slaughter of Gloomy Sunday - check out Sinead O'connor's version to hear how it's done properly.

I liked about half the songs on here but I don't think it was their best work.

Listenable hippy rock. Sounded better on the second listen, so 3.5 stars from me.

I think it would have been a 5 but I didn't like some of the songs on second half, so 4.5 stars from me. His voice has a resonance and pathos that comes with age and experience much like David Bowie's in later years.

What the hell is this album doing on this list? It ain't just Canada that's board! Utter drivel. It's like the big bang theory cast got keyboards from Argos during lock down and this is what they came up with.

I know this is cheesy, operatic and overblown but the songs are so well crafted and sung. I'm was torn between a 4.5 and 5 stars but 43 million copies sold tells a tale.

Love this one. It reminds me of my childhood, growing up with its socially relevant songs. Had this as an album and a CD. Love the bass and the dub. I'm gonna ignore the cover of strange fruit - no one else should be allowed to do it after Billie Holiday sung that.

Some kind of weird psychodelic folk rock. I expected to not like it but some songs really drew me in. Shame about his voice though. Like a cross between Jodi Mitchell and the Velvet Underground.

It takes a while to get into, but once you do, you realise it's probably a work of genius.

Not bad but a bit too experimental in places for me.

I do like his voice but I thought these songs were not the best.

Not the best bit of Britpop, only one good song and that's about it. He did sound a bit like Mick Jagger on a couple of songs though, so that's in his favour.

Some cracking songs on this one, love the guitar sound too. Love the attitude too.

I didn't dislike it but it was very middle of the road. If Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty had a love child, this is what their kid would sound like.
