Out of the 100 albums on this list I've gotten so far, this is without a doubt the best one that was completely off my radar beforehand. I mean to reserve a 5 for albums that are legendary. Is this legendary? Maybe, probably not, but it's been so long since I've heard an album and immediately wanted to listen to it all over again that I have to give this a top score.

Classic early Beatles. Mostly covers. Good but far from their best.

21st century folk. Cozy. Highlights: Ragged wood. He doesn't know why. Your protector. Blue ridge mountains.

Bluesy, hard rock. Heavy metal influence/ innovation. The title track has a motorhead feel but a few years earlier. Better than expected but nothing truly stand out. Adequate. Highlights: walk this way. Toys in the attic. You see me crying.

Great production. The tones all sound great. Very pleasant to listen to sonically. But it's boring. And monotonous. Okay second half and coffee. It's got some variety and soul. I wanna dislike it for bono but it's got some good tunes. First take highlights: so cruel. Love is blindness.

Radiohead's love letter to the bush administration. Great sounds. Some of the bands best songs are here. A bit of filler that prevents it from being thought of with kid A or ok computer, but a strong album nonetheless. Highlights: 2+2=5. sit down stand up.

Damn really strong start. The first four tracks are all great. The Jay-Z song isn't as strong but still good. Pussycat is a song. Sounds like a Lauren hill love song but about pussy. Then a real love song with Beyonce. Heartbreaking final song. This was great. Highlights: gossip folks. Can you hear me

Instrumental trip hop. It's smooth after 3 tracks. Nothing stand out, but great ambiance. It's not bad. It's just there. Pleasant background music.

Channeling Cohen, some somber love songs to start. West country girl takes things a bit heavier traditional nick cave style. Highlights: into my arms.

This is great, but there are so many covers. Wait, they aren't covers? She's the original song writer? Holy smokes this might be a 5

Another album I wanted to hate that was actually surprisingly worthwhile. This probably deserves a second listen. Highlights: (I'm in heaven when you smile), come on Eileen, all in all.

Highly listenable black Sabbath. I need a less distracted relisten.

Aww yeeee. You know heart of glass. You know one way or another. That's all there is, right. That's all this has to offer. Wrong. False. This is solid start to finish. With diverse genres and fun everywhere. Picture this, hanging on the telephone and pretty baby deserve the airplay just as much as the ones that did get it.

Wilco's masterpiece. Beautiful tones on the instruments. Soulful solemn start: I am trying to break your heart and radio cure. Kamera and war on war lighten things up a little. And then comes Jesus, ect and youre trying not to cry. Might be their best song. Ashes of American flags finishes the first half with another tear jerk. The second half is much more upbeat. The trio of heavy metal drummer, I'm there man who loves you and pot kettle black builds up a lot of energy. Then poor places shatters it for the finale, reservations, a last heartfelt push. It's a great album

I don't know why I expected this to be 80s glam metal. This is legit metal. First four are a bit similar, expect breaking the law, which is actually more glammy pop metal, but I don't mind because it's fun anthem. United is also more glam pop metal ballad and is the only low point so far. Jarring to go from "breaking the law, breaking the law" to "united united united we stand". Lame, anyways. The second half gets more power arena metal but it's happening years before that style gets over done. And there's a couple last Surprisingly good. Some tracks don't hold up but I'm going to listen to this again.

Singer songwriter with electronic and psychedelia themes.

The title track is a legendary piece of pop history and still holds up decades later. The rest is pretty formulaic and stale.

There's a 99% chance you'll how this album starts. Pretty good too.

Its not bad. I kinda enjoyed it. But it's not really my cup of tea. Geddy lee's vocals don't do much for me.

Radiohead's transitional album. It has a couple of great songs (high and dry, fake plastic trees and street spirit) but they haven't quite put it all together at this point.

"Soft" has gotta be the hardest song about E.D. ever written.

Completely original. Totally unique sounds throughout. Full of absolutely beautiful songs. Plus it has sloop john b for some reason and despite being out of place that song is great. A Masterpiece.

I know the reputation, but it just doesn't totally do it for me. Too avant garde

What an odd album. It's got: Environmental songs that sound like they were written by someone who just learned about the issue impress some hippie girl. A heavy metal inspired blues song about protesting that asks the question, ”maybe don't?" And some left overs from pet sounds at the end to make wish you were listening to a better album. A curiosity but not much more.

This is music for exploring outer space. I am not exploring space. I have no desire to do so. This music isn't really for me. But if I was exploring space this music would be perfect.

Thought this was going to be another generic early 2000s indie folk album. Pleasantly surprised that it actually is channeling marc bolan's early tyrannosaurus rex era. Pretty good.
