At times fun, but really not for me. Electronic gives me such a headache that it's hard to enjoy.
Favorite: frontier psychiatrist
Least favorite: live at dominoes
James Taylor
3/5
Enjoyable but few songs stuck out.
Emmylou Harris
4/5
I enjoyed this album a lot. It made me feel nostalgic and reminded me of the kind of music I associate with my mother
I didn't dislike any song, though most faded to the background. Standouts were My Baby Needs a Shepherd and Michaelangelo
Amy Winehouse
4/5
Amy, Amy, Amy. Gorgeous sound and gorgeous voice. Some of the lyrics are a little tough but it feels raw and honest.
Low: know you now
High: in my bed, you sent me flying/cherry, fuck me pumps, amy amy amy
Peter Frampton
3/5
Great music for a warm spring day. Reminds me of the music my dad and uncle played outside on a nice day. No song sticks out but I'd also put any of them on again. Very impressive guitar playing.
The Incredible String Band
1/5
Uniquely terrible
Kraftwerk
2/5
Not bad but really not for me. Electronic in general just can't hold my attention.
Solomon Burke
4/5
Really pleasant listen. It got a bit repetitive at times. Still, he has a wonderful voice and you can hear the influence he has on later artists.
CHIC
3/5
It's fun disco music and I appreciate it for what it is. I probably wouldn't put it on as anything other than background.
The Teardrop Explodes
2/5
It feels like it should be more exciting but the repetition and vocals just make it boring.
John Coltrane
2/5
I'm just not that into jazz. Pleasant sometimes but I really hated the long drum-heavy portions.
The Sugarcubes
3/5
Delightfully weird but mostly filled with songs I won't revisit.
Led Zeppelin
3/5
Sam Cooke
5/5
Such a fun album. Amazing live recording and one of the few albums I'd relisten to in its entirety.
Koffi Olomide
4/5
Fun and danceable. I don't know how often I'll seek it out, but I thoroughly enjoyed my first listen.

5/5
Gorgeous. Loved most of the songs and the android concept comes through in a way that doesn't default to a robotic sound.
Love
2/5
Few songs deserve to be 18 minutes and Revelation knocks this down to a 2.

3/5
Somebody to love and in the morning were great. There were a few other good songs but I won't revisit most of this album.

Carole King
5/5
Gorgeous from top to bottom. Feels just like the album art
Elis Regina
4/5
Kanye West
4/5
I really wish I could give this a 3.5. It's varied and interesting and exciting. That said, I see glimpses of Kanye becoming who he is today in a few of these songs. Sometimes the lyrics feel weak. That said, even when I'm rolling my eyes at what he says, the composition of the cong always makes up for it.
Jamiroquai
3/5
Who are Jamiroquai's people? It's funky and fun but inauthenticity is bleeding through the album.
Metallica
3/5
The Triffids
3/5
Fleet Foxes

I feel nostalgic about this album because I remember my grandpa putting it on. He loved Maggie May.
I think that's what saves this from a 2. I can tolerate bad singers (I even like some) but his voice was pretty rough at times.

Pink Floyd
4/5
Really really good. Long enough to fall from a five though
The Offspring
3/5
I'm really mixed on this one. At times, it's really enjoyable but I also think he has a pretty bad voice and some of the lyrics are very middle school angst
Pearl Jam
3/5
