So bad I had to write my first review. There’s enough post-punk representation on this list that the inclusion of this nonsense is baffling.
Don’t get it. This is completely average, often tuneless folk/rock masquerading as something more simply by throwing every avant-garde or atonal instrument on top of the simple arrangements. Without the kitchen sink production this would just be a boring acoustic record with whisper croak vocals.
I’m learning that the rumours about drug use in the 70s were very true.
Pretty, wistful, and woefully, utterly boring.
An interesting audio experiment that I enjoyed more than I expected.
No, this is without value.
