Pretty interesting and experimental but not necessarily something I want to listen to that much or that often; it felt too dark and dirge-y and not really coherent enough.

Rap / hip-hop still isn't really my thing, but this album was pretty catchy and fun to listen to. I thought about giving it four stars, but I heard too many f-slurs for that :/

I think I like the idea/concept of Frank Zappa better than I like the actual music, LOL. It wasn't bad though; it's entertaining for the length of the album but I wouldn't want to listen to much more than this, or listen to this too often.

I've heard of Patti Smith before, but this might have been my first time actually listening to her music. And I liked it a lot! She's got a great voice and the music was cool too. I can definitely hear her influence in a lot of other stuff I like.

This was right in my wheelhouse and lots of fun to listen to! I don't like the use of the f-slur in Fairytale but society generally wasn't concerned about that in 1988, I suppose, and it's only the one, so I guess I'm gonna let it slide.

Very groovy and chill. I pulled up the "Inspiration Information / Wings of Love" special edition on YouTube Music, which is more than twice as long as the original, and ended up listening to the whole thing. I don't always do that with "special editions" in this project; if I'm not into it, I'll stop listening once I've made it through the original album, skipping all the extras.

The Beatles are a top-tier group, and this is a top-tier album of theirs. It's not perfect, but the website doesn't allow half-ratings, and I'm trying to be more generous at the top end and more harsh at the bottom end, so this is getting five stars instead of four (or four and a half, which is what I actually want to give it).

It was pretty good. Mostly instrumental, which I prefer over his music with lyrics. But even so, one album at a time is about enough; this doesn't make me want to go listen to more right away.

It's not really my preferred genre, and I wasn't very into the subject matter. There seemed to be a lot of both self-aggrandizement in ways that I'm not a fan of, and victim culture, as well as sexism and whatever else. But some of the hooks were decent. If I could better separate the art from the artist, I might give it two stars. But it's getting a one.
