Dance Mania by Tito Puente
Jun 26 2025

Familiar sounds. Good "easy summer listening", could picture listening to this sitting outside at a restaurant. Not very passionate, didn't make me feel anything. Very similar feel between all of the songs. I like it for a few songs then get sick of the same beat.

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Jun 27 2025

Very easy to see his influence in later music. 'Tonight' reminded me of David Bowie while I found Turn Blue to be laughably bad. Had it's highs and lows, but overall I enjoyed it!

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Jun 30 2025

Obviously already familiar with the band and some of the songs on here. There were a few with a more country feel which was interesting.

Ill Communication by Beastie Boys
Jul 01 2025

What a pleasant surprise. I've always liked The Beastie Boys, but this was way more eclectic and varied than I would have guessed. Highly enjoyable.

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem
Jul 03 2025

Very very familiar with Eminem, I'm sure nostalgia has something to do with my rating. If I had never heard of him before I wonder if I would rate the same, probably not. Super talented obviously, but it's a little "edgelord"y. But hey, made him a looooot of money so good for him.

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Jul 04 2025

I'd rather listen to your beard scratching noises you kept making in the car.

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
Jul 08 2025

I can see why this was popular in the time it was released. I think you'll like it more than I did. I prefer Earth, Wind and Fire.

Bad Company by Bad Company
Jul 10 2025

Loved it. Vocals are killer.

Jul 17 2025
Smash by The Offspring
Jul 21 2025
Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Jul 24 2025

Excellent. Had some variation between songs, vocals and drums were impressive.

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Jul 25 2025

My feelings about music like this are complicated

Tapestry by Carole King
Jul 28 2025

LOVED THIS

Moondance by Van Morrison
Jul 29 2025

Didn't really know Van Morrison beyond Brown Eyes Girl. Moondance seemed out of place with his other songs but still, very enjoyable!

Queen II by Queen
Jul 30 2025

Queen sucks

On The Beach by Neil Young
Aug 01 2025

This has got to be the most boring music of all time.

Ys by Joanna Newsom
Aug 07 2025

If I could rate this lower than 1 star I would. Sounds like Adam Sandler when he's singing ridiculous songs in his movies. Awful.

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
Aug 11 2025

Definitely hear the Springsteen influence in the first two tracks. Overall it was fine, the songs were neither exceptionally good or exceptionally bad.

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Aug 12 2025

Instrumentally impressive, lyrically ridiculous. Sounds like a 12 year old hired a band to play the songs he wrote. Not a fan.

Konnichiwa by Skepta
Aug 14 2025

Weak rhymes. Very moon, June, spoon. Weak beats. Nothing memorable or impressive. Weak lyrics. Nothing said or conveyed that hasn't been said 1,000 (1,001?) times before. I usually try to find something to appreciate even if an album isn't for me, but I'm struggling with this one.

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Aug 15 2025

Cacophonous

Be by Common
Aug 18 2025

The fact that this album and Konnichiwa are both on this list is astounding. This was incredible. Loved it. Also, "I wanna be a duck!" was adorable.

Boring. Sounded like every other mildly successful female artist in the 90s (I'm not talking about queens like Mariah and Whitney). I had never heard of her before and will happily go back to never listening to her again.

Illmatic by Nas
Aug 25 2025

Impeccable.

Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Aug 26 2025

As with his other albums, I completely respect the artistry and thought that goes into his music. However, he kind of "talk sings", it wouldn't be remiss in a Broadway musical, which is really not my thing. But that's a me problem, doesn't mean he isn't very talented and accomplished at what he's going for.

Classic

Low by David Bowie
Sep 29 2025
The Visitors by ABBA
Oct 03 2025

Honestly I was prepared to roll my eyes a bit at this but ABBA is so so good. Very pleasantly surprised

Ten by Pearl Jam
Oct 06 2025

I have never liked the lead singers voice, but it's a well put together album.

Boston by Boston
Oct 07 2025

I've heard many Boston songs but never really listened. They have just been in the background throughout my life. But what an impressive album! Extremely fun to listen to

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
Oct 10 2025
Pearl by Janis Joplin
Oct 20 2025
Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Oct 21 2025

This kind of folk music definitely oversaturated the market for awhile and I was initially inclined to give it a 3. However I do think the songs are well thought out, beautifully sung, and the album has a cohesive feel overall without each song sounding the same. So despite the fact that I'm personally still "over" this music, I gave it a 4 as it's not their fault everyone and their mother decided on the same style at the same time.

The Coral by The Coral
Oct 23 2025

3.75-I enjoyed the first half better than the second.

Sister by Sonic Youth

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Nov 25 2025

This is not Miles' fault, I just really hate this kind of music.

Armed Forces by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Nov 26 2025
Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Nov 27 2025

Obviously there are a few outstanding tracks but the rest of the album wasn't great

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac

Music by Madonna

Dec 08 2025

Some interesting lyrics

Debut by Björk
Dec 15 2025
Aja by Steely Dan
Jan 12 2026
Jan 20 2026

Undeniably talented. Truly one of the best. When this came out I was in Middle School and loved it, but then again, it has the humor of a middle school child. Doesn't quite hit the same on adult ears.
