Country or Americana is not my thing at all, but this is enjoyable and at least keeps me entertained. Really picks up in the second half. Favourite tracks: - One by One - California Stars - Eisler on the Go - I Guess I Planted Overall Grade: 7/10

Not a fan of The Rolling Stones' country tracks as much as their blues material, but this is pretty nice. 'Gimme Shelter' is a damn masterpiece. Favourite tracks: - Gimme Shelter - YCAGWYW - Monkey Man - Midnight Rambler Overall Grade: 8/10

Pure ecstasy. Not a dull moment here, this album paints a very bleak picture throughout. Probably my favourite Cure album, or close against Disintegration. Favourite Tracks: All Overall Grade: 5/5

Not the greatest garage rock record I’ve heard, but there are still some solid gems here. “We Will Fall” is not one of them - can’t believe this takes up a whole third of the entire runtime. Favourite Tracks: - I Wanna Be Your Dog - 1969 - Ann Overall Grade: 3/5

Far from being my favourite genre, but this is an amazing record and Tori has an amazing talent for songwriting. "Me and a Gun" is a truly heartbreaking piece that will forever stick with me. I don’t know why but I was expecting to hate this. Impeccable production, plods along at a great pace, with some very clear influences. ‘Other Voices’ is a love letter to Talking Heads. 'I Used To' is a love letter to The Cure. 'Black Screen' honours Bowie's legacy in a very heartbreaking way. Favourite Tracks: - I Used To - How Do You Sleep? - Call the Police - Emotional Haircut Overall Grade: 4/5 (A-/B+)

Exceptional voice, but just doesn’t hit for me. Overall Grade: 2/5

Great album and a true pioneer of sampledelica. At times it does feel a bit anxious or overwhelming due to the insane combination of samples utilised, however this is made up for incredible songwriting and social commentary that is unfortunately still relevant 30 years later. Pretty good, but often feels a bit too safe. Wish they utilised more of the female backing vocals you find in the last few tracks. Still, ‘Come on Eileen’ is a bop and no one can deny that. Another great display of sampledelica after listening to 'Fear of a Black Planet'. Feels like you're in a movie based in the ocean, and the never-ending range of sounds and samples are the waves. Favourite Tracks: - Frontier Psychiatrist - Tonight - Since I Left You - Live at Dominoes - Two Hearts in 3/4 Time - Electricity - A Different Feeling - Close to You - Etoh - Flight Tonight - Radio - Extra Kings Overall Grade: 5/5 (A / A-)

R.I.P Queen Elizabeth II. I had to double take when I saw this new album generate, I thought “no way is this a coincidence” Royalty aside, spectacular album. One of the greatest of all time. Favourite Tracks: - All, except maybe Vicar in a Tutu Overall Grade: 5/5 (A+ / A)

A brilliant blend of jangle/baroque pop infused with some alt rock on the side. I am not complaining getting two jangle pop records in a row, it's starting to become a favourite genre. Favourite Tracks: - Man on the Moon - Drive - Try Not to Breathe - Nightswimming - Find the River - Everybody Hurts - The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite - Monty Got a Raw Deal - Sweetness Follows Overall Grade: 5/5 (A / A-)

Not a huge fan of this, the vocals are hit-or-miss and I feel so many other bands have nailed this genre/style better. Can't see myself returning to this. Favourite Tracks: - Yesterday's Numbers - Whiskey Woman Overall Grade: 1/5

His vocals make me want to fall asleep. Have to say it's quite boring. It's no surprise this record is produced by Nigel Godrich, the legend behind Radiohead's catalogue - it sounds really similar instrumentally to that of Radiohead's work, minus the interest, intrigue and impeccable songwriting. Favourite Tracks: - Why Does It Always Rain On Me - Blue Flashing Light - Writing to Reach You Overall Grade: 2/5

A pleasant surprise. Never dabbled into this genre before, but the music is incredible. At some points often a bit bloated, but full of talent and ambition. Favourite Tracks: - Pitche Mi - Taaw - Badou Overall Rating: 4/5

Another Radiohead banger, this time a more aggressive outcome than their previous efforts. Not often a sucker for political lyricism, but this works. Favourite Tracks: - There There - A Wolf at the Door - Myxomatosis - 2 + 2 = 5 - Where I End and You Begin - Sit Down, Stand Up - A Punchup at a Wedding - Backdrifts - Go to Sleep Overall Rating: 4/5

An integral moment in music history, and such a delight. Never a dull moment here. There's often a back-and-forth for me claiming this album to be the best in the Beatles discography, only matched by Revolver. Favourite Tracks: - All, except Octopus' Garden & Sun King Overall Score: 5/5
