First two songs off the album are great, diminishing returns from there for me. Like the instrumentals for the most part but struggle with too much of this variety of American rock. Fav tracks: Search and Destroy, Gimmie Danger.

Loved it, perfect prog-rock that flows so smoothly from one track to the next. Incredible opener with Roundabout. Fav tracks: Roundabout, Long Distance Runaround, Mood for a Day

First time listening to Transformer cover to cover. Pretty familiar with the hits, so I think I expected more from the album as a whole. Still, can see why it's held up as a classic, its peaks are incredibly high. Fav tracks: Vicious, Perfect Day, Walk on the Wild Side, Satellite of Love.

Just so good. Difficult to differentiate its highlights because of its consistency. Fav tracks: Taxman, Eleanor Rigby, I’m Only Sleeping, Here There and Everywhere, For No One, Got To Get You Into My Life, Tomorrow Never Knows.

Some undeniably great grooves, but not really for me. Album felt a lot longer than it is. Fav tracks: Devils Haircut.

Wow this list is just different varieties of white guy rock, hey. Went into this a bit jaded which has maybe harshed my judgment but I just really really don't care that much about this album.

What's this?? A non-rock album?? Aaaand I hate it. This passing the muster for the list does not fill me with confidence for albums to come. Talking Heads cover was fairly upsetting and boy do I really hate Jericho. From there it somehow keeps getting worse. There's a redeeming moment or two (I don't hate Come to My Aid) but shit me I couldn't wait for it to be over.

Let out a huge sigh as this started, wasn't ready for more white guy rock. Not sure how much that impacted the experience but did enjoy a couple of songs on the back end. Fav tracks: Nightime, Blue Moon

Maybe not quite at the level it used to be for me, but still an absolutely classic album. Fav tracks: Debaser, Here Comes Your Man, Mr Grieves, Crackity Jones, Hey.

13/13 white male rock or white male rock adjacent albums. I'm tired, boss.

Let's go. One of the best with one of their best. Offers something different and memorable with each song. Fav tracks: Gasoline Dreams, So Fresh So Clean, Ms. Jackson, Spaghetti Junction, B.O.B., Xplosion, Humble Mumble, Slum Beautiful.

Really into Solange's angelic voice and consistent grooves. It's so smooth that it very occasionally gets tiring. Would be a perfect 30-40 minute album. Fav tracks: Weary, Cranes in the Sky, Junie.

Understand its significance but found it a tough listen. Hoping 2001 shows up on this list. Fav tracks: Nuthin But a G Thing.
